Saturday Evening Games – R8, 2013

Written by Motts on May 18 2013

Collingwood v Geelong (MCG) – God I’m looking forward to this match! DavePies/FlagPies would get stuck right into me if I said why so I’ll just say its because of the amount of SC talent that’ll be running around.

Sydney v Fremantle (SCG) – Theoretically, the Swans should have no problems accounting for the travelling Dockers but Rossy Lyon has proven himself to be a tactical genius. Anything could happen!

Who you going for? And who you got playing?

  1. Anybody got any info on Steve J? Is it an injury, and if so, how severe?? I have a must-win match in my league and this is gonna kill my chances.

  2. I was going to bring him in but waited for final teams just in case. And I was going to bring in Kennedy. Have gone Dusty and Cahcia no idea how that will work out.

  3. I know everyone is going to bring in Staker however today Matthew Spangher played really well, if he can hold his spot he’s in the 120k area too.

    20 point lead gone.

  12. OH MAN picked blicavs n lonergan as emergencies left viney on the ground. Just checked the faq and says i get the lower score if 2 emerg selected and play. WHY WHY WHY?????? Makes no sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. At first glance, a score of 1770/15/GAZ seems fantastic, but then I realise that all but 1 of the remaining 7 players are rookies (and the premium is Hartlett). Hopefully something around 2,200 ish would be good (considering the problems everyone else is having).

Only real negatives are the slightly lower scores of some of the top guys (Rockliff, Swan, Cox & Leuenberger all in the 80’s), but then offset by some other positives (Zorko, Watson, Roughead, O’Meara, JPK & Lonergan).

On the plus side, I will be able to take Lonergan’s EMG score by putting Viney on the field over Jones, so a small potential win there.

  14. HELP! I’m playing a sub 200 team in my league this week and its going to come down to the wire ( I’m ranked 60,000 odd!). Should I take jack Hutchins 50 through jasper pittard loophole or put Luke brown on the field??? David vs Goliath bragging rights up for grabs

Another woeful week, will be lucky to break 2100…

Does anyone know what Nic Nat’s price will be after the round is complete?

Hoping to trade Mayes – Nic Nat with $245k in the kitty but not looking good.
