Saturday Night Footy – Dogs v Tigers

Written by Motts on June 22 2013

The way the Tiges have been travelling lately this opponent really shouldn’t trouble them at all. Watched the Dogs last Sunday when they were dismantled early by the Pies but fought home bravely and can’t see them doing much better here. Etihad will suit them better than the MCG but even so I think they’re in all sorts.

Players of interest: Cotch, Dusty, Ellis, Maric, Riewoldt, Minson, Boyd, Hrovat

  1. Goodes and Vlastuin don’t pique your interest Mottsy?

I’ve got Cotchin (VC), Ellis, Martin, Vlastuin and Goodes running around tonight.

Only 1 person above me in the overall has Brandon Ellis, so I’ll be barracking hardest for him tonight! Every possession will be cheered with passion.

    Also, Go Tiges!!

  4. vlastuin spudding up. doesnt seem to happen too often.
now hrovat subbed out for 26. well that was an awesome trade. hard to see him keeping his spot now too considering he seemed lucky to get this game.
been a terrible supercoach weekend so far.

  6. Despite how poor he was in AFL, it’s great to see Izzy in full run again for the wallabies. #embracesforthedislikes

  8. Now here’s a question that’s been brought by tonight.

Who do I upgrade for Watson?

    TU: Vlaustin
    TD: B. Goodes

  9. Opted to not take JPK’s score and instead put the C on Lids. Also Vlastuin scored less than the player subbed on and the player subbed off.

  10. Griffen = Supercoach Gold!! I know many will disagree but in my opinion he’ll be most expensive player at the start of next years competition……….

  11. Tigers score doubles the Dogs but Dogs outscore them in SC….
Had Cotch (vc) Lids, Maric, Vlastuin, Goodes and Hrovat tonight
    – combined score of 390… FFS

  12. Stoked with Ryan Griffen’s 143 on debut (Montagna as Captain ahead of him using the loophole, didn’t matter anyway, both scored 143 =D).

Averages 125.5 after this week, definitely a gun and people should look to bring him in with Melbourne and GWS in the next two weeks, I’m expecting Griff to go berserk!

Take out his 51 ‘injury score’ and his average jumps to 133 with just one game below 100.

    Get around him.
