Saturday Night Footy, R14, 2013

Written by Motts on June 29 2013

Couple of games for your viewing pleasure this evening:

Geelong v Fremantle (Kardinia Park) – can’t see the Cats dropping this one after last week. With no Barlow the Dockers’ job gets a whole lot harder.

Melbourne v Western Bulldogs (MCG) – danger game for the Doggies if they don’t come switched on. They’re a better team but the Dees would dearly love a scalp.

  2. Hoping Jelwood goes large, not taking GAJs 115 taking a punt on Jelwood. Ibbo on debut tonning up would be nice too.

  3. Well… I for one wil be watching the lions tour instead. No choice really, poor digital reception here in the rain on all seven digital channels.

  5. When is the very un-australian act of dobbing completely acceptable? Any time Ryan Crowley is involved. I’d be happy to see him run out of the game Steven Baker style.

  10. Bwahaha. Jack Watts to outscore Gazza, J Selwood, Jpk, and Swan.

Gotta love the way footy works out sometimes.

Lucky I ended up with gazzas 115.

  11. Blicavs, Bartel and Griffen tonight. Hoping Fyfe and Ibbotson go sub-par because of an important league match however that’s not likely…

Need Blicavs to step up in the second half to keep up his form, hopefully. Oh and happy with Captain Griff’s 65 SC first half effort. Keep it up.

  15. I think I’ve made my feelings on the Cats pretty clear and I definitely wasn’t barracking for them tonight but I did enjoy seeing FURL’s game plan fall over against quality opposition.

  17. As much as I hate Crowley, he is one damn good tagger. But I wouldn’t want him on my team. Disgrace of a player. #outscoredselwood

  18. Oh and I was supporting that Bulldogs comeback all the way. imagine if it had happened 2 weeks in a row. Cooney, Griffen’s and Libba’s final terms gave them every chance. Not quite though, a couple of rushed kicks to loose Melbourne defenders in the end finished it off for the Dees.

  19. JPK, Selwood, Swan as Captain, Nic Nat, Shaw, Goddard, JJK are all premiums who are posting up rookie scores in the same week. Not very happy…was projected to get 2,399 at the start of the round and now I will be lucky to get 2000. Looks like it’s the round 14 bye for me. 🙁

  20. I was supposed to bring in Ibbotson for Vlastuin last night before the game but completely forgot. So used to doing trades on a Friday you see

I was going to bring in Hanley next week hopefully as a straight swap for Birchall

Do I pull the trigger and bring in Hanley this week for Vlas?

Vlas is due for a big price drop this week also.
