Saturday Night Footy – R20, 2013

Written by Motts on August 10 2013

Sydney v Collingwood (Homebush) – Collingwood’s dominance of the Swans at ANZ Stadium ended last year when Sydney won their prelim final by 26 points. The Swannies will be without Goodes, Jetta and Reid while the Pies will be missing Thomas, Toovey, Jolly, Hudson, Fasolo, Young and another Reid. It’ll be a great contest in the guts with Swan and Pendles up against Jack, JPK and Hannebery. Sydney to win by 20 for mine.

Gold Coast v Melbourne (Carrara) – If the Dees can’t beat GWS, they’re certainly not going to beat the Suns who’ll be hunting a franchise record 7th win this year. GAJ to have a day out and the Suns to canter home by 27.

  2. Another case of why the rolling lockout is unfair to those who work on the weekends and don’t have a chance to use the loopholes supercoach can only be won by people with time on weekends to utilize the loopholes
    It’s an unfair playing field
I hope rolling lockout is abolished next year

  3. Carn the Woods!!! Excellent win by the Pies tonight up in Sydney. Bring on the Hawks on Friday night. Will be a great build up to SC semi-final week, but even with two six day breaks in a row and travelling interstate, I think the Collingwood have the momentum to knock off Hawthorn #wishfulthinking?

  4. Alright, Im stuck on who I should chose for C, now that I have missed both Pendles and Joelwood! I had Cotchin VC, but I reckon Danger or Barlow will get better.

    T/U – C for Barlow
    T/D – C for Danger
