SC Racing 2021

Written by Motts on September 30 2021

Welcome back to another season of SuperCoach Racing which will allow us Supercoach diehards to scratch the SuperCoach itch between the AFL and BBL seasons.

For those new to the concept SuperCoach Racing is basically set up as a daily fantasy format with unlimited trades each round so always ensure your selections are running in the upcoming round.

See below my thoughts on the Group 1 races this week where the big points are up for grabs and also feel free to join the group code 392619 (or league as they call it in SC Racing).

As always, note that the below is purely based off SuperCoach value and SuperCoach options and is in no way shape or form a betting preview of the races.

Flemington – Race 7 Group 1 Turnbull

Looks to be a two-horse race with Verry Elleegant ($500,000) slight favourite ahead of Incentivise ($200,000). Incentivise the logical better option here with the cheaper price tag and potential to increase in value but hard to turn back the likely points Verry Elleegant will provide. Other options here include Sir Dragonet ($500,000) and Colette ($450,000) but wouldn’t be loading up too much here with the mainly large prices

Randwick – Race 7 Group 1 Flight

An unusually big field assembled here for the Group 1 Flight. This is usually a race we target for multiple selections with big points and normally lower priced horses competing but might not be the case this year. Startantes ($200,000) looks the best option here just slightly ahead of both Four Moves Ahead ($200,000) and Mallory ($200,000).

Randwick – Race 8 Group 1 Epsom

Another big field here and a wide open betting race makes this not very attractive for Supercoach selections. Riodini ($275,000) looks the value option in the race but can’t talk you out of any of the horses so best thing to do is back yourself here.

Randwick – Race 9 Group 1 Metropolitan

The theme of the day continues in Sydney with another big field. Take your pick out of Montefilia ($325,000), She’s Ideel ($350,000) and Entente ($250,000) and hope for the best.

Good luck to all who decide to take on SuperCoach Racing this year and let me know in the comments below your thoughts on the rule changes and your stables for round 1.

Cheers
