The TEAM Leagues Update Rd14

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 26 2019

Wighty asked to see an update of the TEAM Leagues as to have a better grasp of the current trading situation.  So here we are……..

The TEAM is currently sitting in five Top8s, although given the competitive nature of our Leagues, the TEAM is no lock for Finals just yet.  The TEAM is still a mathematical chance for Finals in a further four Leagues………..

  1. I don’t understand why everyone here wants to be so conservative with trades regarding the team. I don’t offer much input on what trades to do but I vote and every time there’s multiple people in the comment section wanting to save trades!

This isn’t your own team it’s the sites team I don’t understand why being conservative is such an important thing.

This team offers the chance to be aggressive and see what works.

    1. Mark, I reckon that’s a little unfair. The nature of THE TEAM is that consensus will always apply. Sure, we were a little conservative early but at the pointy end of the season we have trades to do what we want with..many of our oppts will not. Three trades last week and almost certainly two this week are just what back of the season strategies are about.
I would actually like to see some agreed “rules” for future seasons…maybe a ban on kpp players in fwds or defs, or the requirement to have at least one dpp in the mids at all times. Not having the later has hindered our ability to trade, and may have added to the appearance of conservatism.
All great discussion which is what this site is about.

      1. Why couldn’t the team of pushed for overall rather than leagues???
What do we all get for winning leagues?

Imagine pushing for overall and the benefits winning could do for the site.

Think you should be looking bigger picture rather than just league wins.
