Friday’s State of Origin is done and dusted (for how long this time)? and our All Stars provided some great entertainment for three quarters – let’s hope our Tech League All Stars provide that zing all season for their coaches!
The squad is taking shape and the players are gelling with each other in their pre season, and some wannabe stars are burning up the track and are headed for breakout seasons, including the rookies!
As long as selection holds, we have our selection criteria minimum of three per state, and one each from A.C.T. and Overseas. Tipping Tom Green might be the early frontrunner for the A.C.T. spot, and looking very likely that a mid price defender picks up the O.S. position.
SA, WA and Tas players are not proving to be a problem in selection, but it gets bit trickier putting in three from Qld, NSW and NT whilst still maintaining a competitive and fun team with strong balance. Rookies will be a challenge as most of the top rooks are Vics, so round one team drops will be crucial to the All Stars chances of cash building.
However, current squad, if maintained, will leave coaches with more than $170k in the bank for immediate upgrade, or for later treasure troves, whatever the strategy.
So folks, you can start registering today. If you haven’t already, select your random team and save it for the exchange to the All Stars when named. Don’t forget the separate email and player (Mum, Dad, pet croc etc) if you want to stay in the running for overall.
