    1. Yeah, the Witherden selection definitely threw a spanner in the works, can’t see him getting a regular gig in the best 22.

The cash from Dangerfield could also come in handy.

  1. Tempted to wait till round 3 and head to head starts
If I’m correct main objective of this comp is to win grand final rather than overall rank.

  2. I’m thinking of holding Danger, assuming his charge is downgraded to get 2 weeks. I’d get rid of two of the more speculative mid-pricers and get in JJ and a premo if I can.
Witts to a quality ruckman next week once we have established some sort of pecking order … maybe even Hickey if he pulls off another great game.

  3. I can afford Rowell to T. Mitch if I also trade Daniher to Jordan V DPP.
Or is that a wasted trade and should look at a cheaper option.
Mitch ticks off an added premium though.

    1. Hi Stepheno,
Just letting you know you have entered your message to a wrong grouping.
This comp has players pre selected for us and Rowell wasn’t one of them.
Try Trade Talk Rd 2 there will be other words of wisdom for you there. Cheers

  4. The way it is looking, Witherden and Danger will make way this week. Danger obviously for his 3 weeks, Witherden due to his lack of job security. Having that much money scoring nothing for multiple weeks doesn’t show good signs.
Dom Tyson wasn’t looking pretty but he’ll survive another week

For the players coming in, bye rounds need to be considered. For Witherden Rd 14 bye players are instantly ignored due to Crisp Howe and May, so no Laird.
For Danger it is a tough decision as players like Ziebell seem great value for money, but then 500k itb is excessive. Going for another DPP could be Dunkley, Dusty or Zorko, but then which is best to back with no injuries and will play every game?

Going to be interesting to see what the final decision ends up being

    1. Yeah I was thinking Ziebell too but I agree with the cash in the bank. Go to someone like Dunkley this week and bring Ziebell in next week on the bubble for an under performing mid pricer

  5. If i was coaching in this comp i’d be trading Witherden out and maybe NOT Dangerfield.
How many coaches would/are trading him back in after suspension?
Could it be more intriguing to get rid of non premos with less than average scores for promising rookies and have lots more in the bank when things settle(?) a bit more after price changes?

    1. Fallen Premos come first and starting premos will not be traded sideways unless injuries occur. Danger will likely make a reappearance at the end of the season when all rookies have been upgraded and then enough trades are to spare to go premo to uber-premo

      1. …..So to clarify, if Neale has less than 100 next week he’s out for a rookie?,….. and Steele for that matter too?

        1. No this is for players being traded in throughout the season. Fallen premos will be targeted first to save money, so unless Danger is a fallen premo he’d likely never be targeted.
Neale will never be traded out unless injury occurs. Next week will likely be correction trades for midpricers/rookies for better cash generation as doing it week 1 is off only 1 round of info that will also only effect the price change for 1 round
