A couple of extremely close matches were played between the top 4 teams over the weekend. The results went like this:
- DeeZNutZ (1) was defeated by Team Awesome SCTTL (4) – 2209 – 2215
- Bloozers (Kaz) (2) was defeated by Kirky’s Kids SCTTL (3) – 2105 – 2127
The games in the lower half of the 8 were a little more lopsided:
- MudDawgs SCTTL (5) defeated Kobi’s Killers (8) – 2223 – 2129
- DD’s Dilemma (6) defeated The Phat SCTTL Side (7) – 2269 – 2184
And so we bid a fond farewell to Kobi and Yiorgakis who both did magnificently well to make the Top 8 but have fallen at the first competitive hurdle. You’ll both be better coaches next year for the experience.
Adam (Team Awesome) and Scotty (Kirky’s Kids) now take an invaluable week off as they wait for the outcome of the following two matches:

Bloozers v DD’s Dilemma
