Sunday Arvo Games R19, 2013

Written by MJ on August 4 2013

Western Bulldogs v Sydney (Etihad) – It may be a 3rd v 15th clash, but plenty of interest in this one for SuperCoaches. Sydney always provide a host of relevant players in JPK, Jack, Mitchell, Hannebery and Malceski with over 5% ownership. However, the most in form player in this match goes to Tom Liberatore, who boasts an average of 120 in his last 5 games! Quite a few will be counting on Minson and Griffen to continue their good form as well. Look out for Bob Murphy too, who came out with 147 against the Eagles last week. Only 2.1% own him, yet he has averaged 103.5 in his last 11 games.

Adelaide v Port Adelaide (AAMI) – The Showdown always proves an entertaining spectacle. How will Dangerfield fare in his first game back? One to keep an especially close eye on is Ricky Henderson, who has averaged a massive 125 in his last 3. Another D/F swinger could come in handy for finals.

Collingwood v Essendon (MCG) – Two teams with plenty of SC interest. Many will be looking at a big score from their captain in this one. Swan or Pendles, that is the question. Can you back Pendles again after letting you down last week? Put your hand up if you grabbed Beams this week.

How are you looking in your final league fixture for the year. Are you finals bound?

  1. I’m currently locked in an arm wrestle with Roo Bloke in LoEC1 (2nd v 4th).
RB holds a 111 point lead with Heppell up against my Harlett and Shaw if neither of us make any trades this arvo. Could very well come down to the captaincy choice if either of us changes it off Swan.

  2. Happy to see that Deano took the C off Jack in our LoEC1 match this morning after what Jack has done in the first!

  3. Bulldogs have come a long way. Playing really good footy against the swans. No side should think they have a easy game against these fellows.

  4. With Priddis a late out, this was the one week I actually needed a decent score out of Mitchell. Thanks Mitch, for putting in a season low.

  6. SCT Poll:
Me – 1914 + Ball, Beams and Hibberd
Opp – 1590 + Danger, Hartlett, Shaw, Pendles, Ryder and Heppell

    T/U – I win
    T/D – I lose

  7. Crows are fast becoming the new kangaroos with that loss. 4 goals 1n last 5 mins to the power including monfries leg break that had no right to go through but did. Wingard is an absolute champion in only his second season. He was the difference. Season finally over for the crows and really have not been good enough when it mattered.
    Oh the pain.
