SuperCoach iPhone Application

by Duck on February 16, 2010

Anyone that knows me would have heard me bang on about the iPhone being the greatest technology device i’ve ever bought …. and believe me when i say, i’ve bought some technology in the past.

Today it gets even better with the inclusion of the Official SuperCoach iPhone Application.

What can it do i hear you ask? Well, the following …

  • Full team selection functionality
  • Make trades throughout the season
  • Edit your team – make substitutions and chose captain and vice captain
  • Create and join private and public leagues. Monitor your league ladders, fixtures and all results
  • Stats, Stats and more stats.

It does everything you can do from your PC as far as i can tell … but when your PC’s out of reach and you need to make a last minute change then this is where it’s worth the $3.99 investment …. a bit steep i agree, but i’ve spent much more for much less benefit.

Check it out on the app store here.

Lastly, there’s still a few spots left in the Official SuperCoach League we’ve set up …. pit yourself against the competitions best now!

Will this application still work if there is no network connection available? I only have an iPod touch and would like to make my changes on a train or tram and then synch it when I get home or to the cafe near work…

No Tony …. there’s no “offline” or caching option …. needs a network connection.

I have joined a league via the iPhone app. Now I want to join a 2nd league but the option via the app has disappeared. Can joining a 2nd league be done via the app? If so, how? Or, do you have to do this on a pc?

Very good point. I am having the same issue.
I have a team, and so do my sons and we want to be able to jump between teams on same phone, but it does not appear to be possible.

Help anyone ?

Just had a look and couldn’t find a Logout button either.

I did find the ‘Contact Us’ link under More… – give that a go and let us know how you go.

I’m guessing turning your phone off and on is too much of a pain in the arse?
