Table For Two – Rd15

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 28 2018

Thursday afternoon……time for a Table For Two!

You’ve checked the BreakEvens, you’ve studied the Rookie Review, you’ve run an eye over the Fallen Premiums………yet you still can’t split those last two players.  If there’s a big decision that you need help with, then leave the players names (or groups of players) in the comments below.  Kelly vs Cripps?  Hurley vs Howe?  Neale vs Selwood?  Whatever it is, the SCT Coaches will help out with the Thumbs UP/DOWN function……….

T/D Holman to Kelly and spargo to Dawson, 6 trades remaining

    1. I’d keep Fritch this week only because he is going to score very well (especially from marking contests) against a very poor St Kilda team. Fritch’s BE is 96 so that might make someone nervous but of all weeks, try not to switch Fritch out on this one.

  2. TU- Stick with Nank (Will have 6 trades, or 5 if I downgrade Holman)

TD- Upgrade to Grundy (will leave me with 4 trades with Hurley D6, Parker M8 and Walters F6)

        1. if yr gna take a punt , I’d go Pendles , 1 fallen premo always turns it on after the bye & Pendles started with a 136 ..
@ 484 that’s a pretty good upside , worst comes to worst , yr gna get minimum 90 from him ..

      1. I love the little guy Catta

I owned him from round one last year.

Even though he did end up costing me a couple of Finals with a 40 something and then missing round 23 🙁

Maybe I should just get Higgins!

        1. I’m tossing up between Neale & JPK truth be told, both have averaged above 100 at home…Neale has 6 more at OS & JPK has 4 at the SCG & 3 at etihad!

              1. Thanks Catta.

I don’t wanna Jinx them so I won’t tell you who.

                But…….

The name I pulled out is playing tonight.

    1. Mentioned this further up but Fritch could pull out another nice score this weekend against the Saints so maybe hold off this week.

  6. Torn between saving trades and going for gold. Also trading great rookies early has hurt me in the past (Fritsch). Need to swing Walters FWD from the midfield too

TU Fritsch and Brayshaw > Kelly and MID rookie
TD Ryan > MID rookie (via Walters)

Only have 9 trades left and playing for leagues!

    1. And either way:
TU: Swing Sicily forward and play Austin back.
TD: Leave Sicily back and play Battle fwd.

  7. What would be a worse trade .
Tom boyd 1 mill a year on potential.
    Or.
De goey 1 mill a year after 10 odd handy games ?

    1. Boyd won a premiership and won the bulldogs the game. Worth every dollar even if he never reaches his potential.

      1. Even before the garbage he put up Thursday night, he has not shown the form to warrant picking him ahead of Fyfe or Cripps.

      2. I’d wait til he puts in a decent score and grab him then. His BE will likely be that big that, tho you may miss out on 130+ pts you’ll be able to pick him up for nothing!

    1. I went TU (proven and consistent) but you can’t ignore the other two’s form. I’d go with your gut, or the cheapest!

      1. Thanks allsaints. I’m leaning the same way but don’t feel confident about it with Laird’s injury risk especially considering he has already been in and out of my team.
