  1. TU: Heeney to Worpel and Hore to Clark
    TD: Don’t do the trades.

As I have only 20000 left in the bank I have to trade someone like Heeney to make sure I have the best rookies

  2. Current team:
Lloyd, Williams, Smith, Collins, Clark Duursma (Scrimshaw, Hore)
Cripps, Fyfe, Coniglio, Dusty, Sloane, B Crouch, Walsh, Cousins (Constable, Butters, Scott)
    Grundy, Goldstein (Bines)
Dangerfield, Dunkley, Billings, Moore, Drew, Setterfield (Parker, Petruccelle)

T/U – Dusty to LDU and Hore to Worpel (via Darcy Moore) + 98k in the bank
T/D – Dusty to Tim Kelly, Setterfield to mid bench to play Constable on the field
Comment: Keep Dusty and save trades

      1. At seasons end no…. but i’d rather not have a full season of frustration when i can get Kelly who is playing better, will save money and is also a forward, allowing Constable onto the field in the midfield is definitely worth it!

  3. Who to play on the field out of Collins, Clark and Scrimshaw?

    T/U – Collins
    T/D – Clark
    Comment – Scrimshaw

  4. Missed the good fwd rookies. Heart and head split, Trigger Thursday. Should I

TU Trade in Drew + Parker they are Must haves
TD Keep Burgess + Petrucelle. Not worth wasting trades they have JS and will earn you enough cash in the end.

Comment reasons to talk me out of it.

    1
    1. Trade burgess to Drew. Keep Petruculle. I think Parkers scoring will begin to drop off a bit and won’t make enough money more than Petrucelle to be worth the trade.

  5. Thinking of the following forward line. Haters will hate.

Danger, Menegola, Kelly, Dunkley, McLean, Wallis (Hunter, Dahlhaus)

Shame I couldn’t fit Hawkins in.

  6. Scrimshaw worth getting in for Hore?

    T/U: Yes
T/D: Save the trade, there will be other decent def rookies

  7. Most likely Ridley or Hore out depending on who’s named
    Best replacement?

    T/U: Scrimshaw
    T/D: Rozee

      1. As a hawks fan I think Scrimshaw has his position in the team until Birchall comes back, whenever that is who knows!!!

  8. IF I pull the trigger on Jarryd Lyons at M5 (still undecided – he’s my only concern, along with not having Constable and LDU) with just $9k in the bank, should I:

    T/U: Move Duursma to the mids and add Newman as D3 (B.Smith to D4), or;
T/D: Take the plunge and bring in one of Constable/LDU

  9. I’m likely going Kelly for Heeney. This, in my few, is a luxury trade. It’s not so much that Heeney isn’t going to be a gun, but that Kelly seems so assuredly headed for F2 overall. He has been allowed complete freedom in their midfield, and that role change is significant. Geelong look far, far better this year than the Swans, which translates to a trickle of points perhaps.

  10. One more – I’m thinking LDU has the safer JS and more chance of higher scores on a consistent basis, but Constable looks really good for the odd blinder and larger cash generation… If both was not an option, which would you go?

    T/U: LDU
    T/D: Constable

    Thanks!

  11. Struggling to make a decision here:
    TU – Franklin to T.Kelly
TD – Give Franklin one more chance as Sydney are against Carlton this week

  12. Ranked 600 but in a couple big cash leagues with main focus on finals. Fairly conservative and normally don’t trade premos. No idea about Worpel at all, (anyone know his long term role?). Convinced Kelly is a top 3 fwd at worst.

    T/U: Heeney & Greene > TKelly & Worpel
    T/D: It’s round 3, relax.

    6
  13. Out: T Greene (F4), M Hore (D8)
In: B Smith (via D Moore to D4), J Scrimshaw

    TU: Yes
    TD: Reconsider

  14. I’ve mentioned it in a previous thread, who makes for the better corrective trade, Whitfield or Sicily? Whitfield is known for not having a great ceiling in a full strength gws side whereas Sicily will undoubtedly push boundaries and possibly get suspended :/ what does everyone think?

    7

    2
    1. Sicily is a gun but and it’s a big BUT, team’s now know how to get under his skin. God knows how many point’s he lost last Sunday with critical frees against, if CD give a player a huge boost in scoring the winning goal then how much do they deduct for a player responsible for losing a game?

  15. Have Sauce with Archie Smith E.
    It’s complicated…

T/Up – Hold one more week (hoping Archie plays – or trade archie for ROB/Z Clarke if named)
T/D – Jacobs -> Grundy + Dunkley -> Powell/Rozee/other rook (already have Drew, Parker, Petro, Setters)
    Comment – Jacobs -> Grundy + McGrath -> Rozee

    1. Went the T/D option – thought about worpell instead but settled on powell for (hopefully) max cash generation…

Really hoped to escape rd 3 with no corrective trades this year but so be it.

  16. Left field one here….

T/U: Merrett to Tim Kelly and Billings to Caleb Daniel
T/D: Just save the trades you idiot

    Thanks coaches!

  18. T/U – Yeo + Hore to Constable and Llyod
    T/D – save trades

Prior to trades have 2 rookies on field in mids and 3 down back (1 being Moore).

  19. People keep quoting Heeney’s scoring history/ability. That’s not in doubt. What’s in doubt is the impact of his ongoing ankle issue and being a week-by-week proposition. I’m also starting to think Kelly will be a must-have.

    So…

    TU – Heeney-Kelly & Balta-Petruccelle
    TD – Hold trades

    2

    6
  20. All this talk about Heeney, but none about Devon Smith. Shiel taking some of his points.

T/U. Keep him as he will come good
T/D trade him and bring in a mid priced player (sheed, rocky etc)

Have Heeney as well.. Please comment

  21. Hi Team,

I’m looking to trade in Parker..

    Trade out options:

    TU – Hore
    TD – T. Greene

    Comment other options:
    1) Burgess (currently my DPP option with Moore)
    2) T. Watson (serving as a great loophole option as he’s cheap and at Freo whom often play late Sundays).

Bines would become loophole option should Watson go.

    1. I’ve had a huge brainfade as Hore and Watson are obviously defenders…

      Options:

      TU – Burgess
      TD – T. Greene

      Comment:
      Petrucelle

  22. Forwards are such a lottery this year I reckon >95 ave will net you a top 6 Forward. Saying that Worpel to average 95 for the remainder?

    TU – Yes
    TD – No

  23. Haven’t used any trades yet.
Wilkie is the only defender on the bubble that I can afford. Should I trade Hore to Wilkie?

    TU Yes

    TD No

    Thanks!

Rich has taken 3 years to come good in the back half.. but he has arrived. Will score 100 most weeks in current form. Playing his best footy in 10 years.
