Table For Two – Rd5

Written by Schwarzwalder on April 18 2019

Lunchtime on Thursday…….time for a table for two!

Following on from our pre-season 2UP threads, Table For Two helps you with those tricky questions.   Who better to field at D6 this week?  Should we bring in Stack or Ross?  Is it worth bringing in Reilly O’Brien?  ……Brian O’Reilly? ………..O’Brian Reilly?  The Adelaide Ruckman!

Whatever you need help with, enter it into the comments and the SCT Coaches will help out as best they can with the thumbs UP/DOWN…….

    1. I voted Daniel. He maintained his position behind the ball after JJ came back. Seems to be liked at the club (trying to renegotiate his contract at the minute).

But, I reckon you could split hairs on this call Simo.

  1. Sheed commented this week saying he will be playing predominately HF

    Thinking of trading to Rocky
    TU:Yes
    TD: No

    Cheers,

    1. Liebs,

If you started with Sheed, congrats! Upgrade to a premo… I’m not totally sold on Rocky, but if you are do it.

If you traded in Sheed, then think very carefully if you want to use another trade on the same position. And, then think who that trade justifies. If it’s still Rocky, go for it. Wish you luck.

Remember, FD says “Trades are air”

        1. Personally, I’d bring in Merrett. Think Essendon are just about to hit their straps, and not entirely sure Port are the real deal. Plus, Rocky is just about to cop a hard Hutchings tag this weekend.

Good luck whichever direction you go 🙂

    1. I think he is a good trade I’ve got him in for Butters. Stack is playing really well obviously killed it game 1 & game 2 even though scored 40 could have scored 60-70, looks the goods to me

    1. If I had Dunkley I’d be getting rid of him. Sideways trading isn’t recommended but if there’s a significant role change like this case it’s acceptable imo. Eg Hibberd Billings last year.

    1. Out of the 2 Hore but…. they both have sort of scratchy JS I started Hore so hope he plays next few games

Rotham has been a late in both games so even less JS, he does have scoring potential though

Good luck whoever you choose or if you don’t trade.

    1. ROB only if you have 30 trades. Sauce gone for 6 weeks according to Crows…that could mean 8-10
Who says you HAVE to trade anyway !!

  3. With the news Port have selected Marshall which could free up Westhoff:

TU – hold but note another subpar score will take him into the $300s
TD – trade to Daniel because another subpar score will take him out of price range

  4. With sauce Jacob’s set to be out for the next 4-6 weeks will ROB be a viable cash cow for our teams:
TU – Yes will make enough in minimum 4 weeks
TD – Won’t make enough in 4 weeks to be worth a trade

    1. Best rookie to get in by a mile for quick reliable cash. Just waiting for teams to drop and snag him.

    1. Hold both……… or the SC gods will send you a message..

The one you hold will go under 80 ,and the one you trade will go 120+

Both should average 100 /110+ for the rest of the season.

      Don’t jump off now.

  6. Rotham likely out.
    Will Hayes likely in.
Anyone know what Hayes being named means? Any chance of it somehow being beneficial for dunkly…

    1. Well his a midfielder isn’t he. I assume he will play on a half forward. Depends who he comes in for. Id imagine little to no impact.

      1. Yep, he’s a midfielder so… Bont may go fwd, pushing dunkley up the ground. Clutching at straws here lol.

        1. I had Dunkley out for Marshall but ive reversed it.

Only thing stopping me doing that trade is that Marshall plays Gawn and Dunkley plays against Carlton.

          1. I’m not trading dunkly, can loophole him later on as m-9, f-7.
But would love at leased 2 100’s for the season.

  10. Well Scott did crap, so I won’t be taking his emergency score for Constable (So I’ll have to bench him for someone else). Who should I put on field for Constable?

    TU: Stack
    TD: Atkins
