Target Test – Josh Drummond?

Written by Big Sexy on February 20 2012

Josh is a SC scoring machine, however I recall even his former coach Lethal Leigh saying he had to be prepared for Josh to miss games each season as his body just struggles to hold up.  That said, perhaps this is season he gets through without being missing a game, or more realisticlly, just one or two.  He only managed 7 games in 2011 at 75 so he’s good value at $369k, what do you think?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. If he were to get through the full pre-season I’d take a punt and throw him in but now that he’s a big chance to miss round 1 I made room to fit Adcock into the team instead.

Grimes is the gamble I’m taking this year instead.

  2. I know Relton, Richmond did the wrong thing by that kid. Stuck him in a hotel room in the city and just left him to fend for himself. The kid was always gonna head home.

Shannon Hurn got a fair bit of it last nte…. Any takers?

  3. My setup is looking like needing a discount backman or a third onfield rookie, but as calculated risks go I’m looking at Lake and Malceski before I touch Drummond or Grimes.

  4. Drummond = liability. Won’t be top 10 Backman by years end and will miss a couple here and there with twinges and soreness before costing you a trade with a season ending injury.

That said if I knew he would play 22 – Locked.
