  2. Smedts and Horse out leaves me looking at 4 donuts, but I WILL NOT TRADE! In capitals to remind myself. Not shouting at everybody else.

  3. Who to play between the big O and Redden?

    Big O – thumbs up
    Redden – thumbs down

Elliott (C’wood) named as emergency. What’s his chances/vest?

  4. Smedts and Horsley hurt. Heppell helps. Looking at three donuts and might stick with that.

I will also be leaving Smedts on the field. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was a late in for Duckwood.

  5. Absolute Carnage this week. Duffman, Darley, Scotland, Mohr, Pendles, Boyd, Horse, JMc, Devon, Giles, Longer, Dangermouse, Treloar and Smedts all out. That’s 14 out. Leaves me with 16 fit and 6 donuts. I think Crapps won’t play either so could be worse 😥 😥 😥

  11. What do you guys think a good 3 round total score over the bye rounds should be? Factoring in a few donuts each week, plus less premiums playing each week.

  12. waters shaw spurr darley scotland golby boyd pendles horse smith zorko treloar a. kennedy smedts porp and dangerfield and giles all out leaving me with 10 donuts this week…. so only 12 fit players with only 10 trades left i am in serious depression at this moment any advice? hahaha

  13. My mid and fwd rookies are: Magnet, Horse, Shiel, JMac, Zorko, D.Smith, Treloar and Hall. Next week Magnet > Priddis, week after JMac/Horse to Swan. I wonder how many more consistent games D.Smith will get after playing so much already.

I think Treloar and Zorko will be good bench keepers and am wondering what people think of going D.Smith to A.Didak. Didak has better JS and looks fitter than last year in a strong Pies lineup, plus it will only cost me around $20K. Good trade for F7 and M6 cover?

  14. Upgrading Porplyzia this week, but really not sure who to get. Had a Pav vs Cloke poll earlier in the week which saw a one sided affair in favour of Pav. Only about 510K so can’t afford Stevie J, Chappy, Zaha, Beams etc.
So, how about Pav matched up against O’Keefe?
    T/U: Pav
    T/U: ROK
    Any other suggestions appreciated!

  17. Copping 4 duckeggs this week due to injuries and non-selections. Pendles, Heater, Smedts and Horse. You can’t factor in everything 😡

  18. I’ve got 6: Shaw (12), Scotland (13), Fisher (13), Pendlebury (12), Ledger (13) & Goldstein (11).

    Plus an extremely full bench:
Bugg, Darley, Shiel, A. Kennedy, Cox, J. Jenkins, Treloar & Zorko.

So much for throwing round 13. Shoulda not even worried about the byes!

  20. looking to trade out horsely and get my final fwd premo.

    thumbs up zaka
    thumbs down cloke + 130k

low on trades and figure the 130k could really help, but cloke hasnt exactly shown a lot this season

  21. considering trading d.smith to didak- am i mad? didak`s ridiculously cheap but i will need him as a keeper- whats his JS like and will he average over 90 from here on in?

  22. What are people doing with Heath Scotland? My first thought is to keep him but the suggestion of the calf injury in an older body being 4 weeks or more have me concerned. What are others doing?

  23. Does anybody have a strong opinion on Sexton and Horse? I heard good things about Sexton early but not many are singing his praises after seeing him play a few games. I noticed he has been named in the 18 and could be a solid downgrade option, Or he could be more fools gold like Spurr.

I thought Horse may be a mature age bench-keeper but then he had a shocker. Mind you Coniglio’s last three weeks were 83, 38, 96. So Horse may well bounce back after a rest.

What are others doing with Sexton and Horse?

  24. 5 donuts, but all is good, my opposition has a very similar team

As long as Dal Santo, Morris and Pfeiffer outscore Magner I’ll win (pretty sure we’ll both have Ablett as captain)

  25. I honestly felt that now was the time to upgrade Giles and Lake… I went with 211 and Chaplin as replacements but now have quite a few zeroes to endure this week.

I guess the silver lining is that Horsley’s value won’t drop this week if he stays out so a swap for Priddis the following week can still go ahead as scheduled.

Smedts and Spurr not getting a run hurts a tad but with the revolving door that is Geelong’s late changes this year probably means Billie will play regardless.

Working out who of Bugg and Mohr to cash in on the re-emergence of Sam Shaw next week will take a bit of guessing too… I’m thinking Bugg to grab a little extra cash.

  26. All week I had Elliott in for D. Smith but now I’m not so sure about his JS and the fact we wont know if we makes the cut or not.

Bringing in Elliott did not affect any of the other bye rounds either. It would save me a doughnut of which I have 7 and would give me money for an upgrade next week

    Should I
Trade Smith to Elliott to possibly save a zero and pocket the $205k
    (thumbs up)
    or
Dont make any trades this week. Take the 7 doughnuts and have no cash for an upgrade next week
    (thumbs down)

    Thanks all

  27. This week is a ripping time to trade off those cash cows for some big upgrades to complete teams over the bye rounds.
    e.g horsely – williams
    porpas – crozier
any gws player to a cheapy to slap on your bench 4 the rest of the season.
After the carnage of the byes is done Im looking to have over 1 million dollars in the bank to upgrade to a full side.

  28. 8 doughnuts thanks to GWS cash cows ripe for milking and Shaw, Scotland and Lewis.

Looking pretty solid for the next two rounds though so all’s good.
