Tech League Trade Talk Rd19

Written by Schwarzwalder on July 22 2019

Pointy end of the season and we’re down to about 4-5 realistic chances at taking out the $100 Prize Pool on offer for the Tech League.

Anyone got any trades left?  Which moves are going to make the difference for your Tech Team?

  1. Will take a score of 2334 from 21 players as Hurn was a late out. Because of this he is likely to make way for Whitfield this week. Problem is Crisp, Laird, Stewart and Sicily all scored under 80 so they aren’t looking too much better. Sicily could also be offloaded as he has been very up and down.

I am also unsure what i want to do with ROB after he scored 149 this week. Gawn is the target and is at his lowest price, however 2 trades are needed to bring him in. Doesn’t look worth it as other players are higher priority to trade out.

I am tempted to trade out one of my non-playing rookies that are on the bubble, so i have cover for the backline so the same thing doesn’t happen again with late outs like this week.

5 trades to use, leaving many options open, just which one to pick is the big question.

    1. I would look at the total points on offer using a trade.
Sicily to Whitfield = 20-30 points a week roughly
      O’Brien to Gawn = 20 – 35 points a week roughly and a really good vc/c option.

Could mean nothing but Sauce Jacobs on 198 games so could be a slight chance he comes back, is playing okay in the SANFL too.

      1. IMO game 199 will be to rest ROB, game 200 will be at home (?) at the expense of an injury or “other” issues.
