Tech League Trade Talk – Rd7

Written by Schwarzwalder on April 30 2018

It’s been interesting to see which direction our Coaches have gone in ugrading their Tech Teams.  Is the midfield more important?  Or the Forward line needs more tweaking?  Who needs to come into your Tech Team this week?

  1. T/U- billings for mclean and banfield for t.Mitchell. T/D- hold trades. Only have 23 trades left and $600 thou in bank. Or any comments appreciated.

  2. Freaking holes everywhere!!

Jack to Zerrett last week gained less than 20 and left too many rooks on the field fwd, so almost waste of a trade. Hopefully works out long term.

Got to within 109 of Double Ds (Ruby, hell of a player) last week, but that Ruby pulled off top score again while my wife could only bag a lowly 1963, so now 300 odd behind.

Don’t know which holes to fill first. Have enough cash for a premo mid upgrade, Laird down back or maybe Sandi to Gawn. Might even have to toss Buddy out!!

To many decisions, might have to have a drink on it.

  3. Thinking 1 down 1 up at this stage but may also look to trade buddy if he’s going to be out long term.

There’s a couple of fallen premo mids coming up in the next few weeks.

  4. Just traded Burgoyne (can’t afford to let a BE of 174 wash through his price) and Stephenson (no real $ increase over the next two weeks, three if he’s rested) OUT
Cripps and Spargo (looks good and with Kent out for a good while should play) IN
$157.5k in the bank for next week’s lotto.
Buddy on the bench (he won’t lose money there) and 19 trades left!!!!
No chance of making it to full premium, but am enjoying watching the likes of Daisy and Jack pull decent scores out their a*$es.

  5. Looking at trading out Walters to Spargo, and looking to trade out Banfield for Macrae. Hopefully Danger, Dusty, Billings, and Coniglio have a better week.
    Thoughts on the trades??

    1. League set up by SCT at the start of the season where each Supercoach starts with the exact same team for round one. This year’s theme was masters and apprentices, whereby all players had to be either over thirty years of age, or rookies.

You can then make changes for round two. Hope that makes sense.
