Been carrying Zaka through the byes and finally had a chance to trade him out this week as an upgrade to Swan. Leaves me with a midfield of Ablett, Swan, Pendles, Thompson, Boyd and Kennedy (Mcdonald, Horsley) for the run home.
10 trades left, not sure whether I should grab Gibson this week and use a 3rd for another upgrade. Would still like to aim for 1 more premium forward and back (Porplyzia and Morris will probably be the ones to go) and still unsure about the rucks – Giles and Goldstein. Thoughts?

Looks good. Sit tight for a week on Gibson for the moment but he could be a great downgrade for either of your bench players. Also, I think you need a decent cover for your ruck before you think the team is done.

My bench is Redden and Stephenson and we’ve seen how volatile their selections have been. I’d love to do Giles > Maric next week, but I’m not sure how beneficial it is compared to upgrading to a premium fwd or back.

Would you consider holding for a couple of weeks for Mummy. Alternatively if the new dogs ruck comes good he may be an option. I had the same issue, I guess it is the downside of the 1-3 ruck combo not working to plan. Wait and see at this stage I think.

final GWS team is crucial, especially because of the last BYE week sweating on Treloar, D.Smith, Old Mac and Giles, if all get named i wont have to make a trade.

I think cloke will come good starting with a bag of 3 or 4 this week. Remember his avg last year was like 90. He will fire up.

Quick question, I’ve got 3 tough league games coming up, if I field a full strength team I should win all 3 and set me up for a top 4 finish. I am currently carrying Pendles and Zaha on the bench. I am going to keep Pendles as it looks like he should be back in a couple of weeks and my opponents also have him so it cancel each other out. The issue is with Zaha, to keep or not to keep, and if I get rid of him who to bring in. I currently have Buddy, Sidey, Beams, Dangermouse, Ruffnut, and Zorko as my forwards. 7 trades left, what do I do? I am looking at Goodes or Chappy as a replacment. Appreciate any input as it is doing my head in as I need to win the next three weeks.

beams is going insane lately if you can afford him… however something that has been well documented lately is that when collingwood finally field a full strength side, it will be very hard for all of beams, sideass, pendles, swan, etc to get high scores every week. Id still much rather beams than chapman though but there is a risk in doing so..

Thought all week; I’ve finally decided to flick Treloar and Kennedy to bring in M Johnson and Crozier.
Will wait another week to remove Tomlinson/Smedts.
Chosen Dangerfield for captain over Swan. A risk, especially if Swan kills it against West Coast, but I feel that if he does, I’ll be sharing my team’s pain.

With Pendles, Swan, Heater, Beams, Sidebum, Thomas all 100+ scorers i just don’t think he’s as big a steal at his current price as he appears. With the 3300pts rule someone’s going to be effected by the Collingwood squeeze i nthe back half of the season.
I had grand plans to bring him in this week and then looked further at his scores and thought about the Collingwood team. He may avg 90′s but won’t have a 100+ avg which is what you should be aiming for in your upgrades.

However if your not using the money yet there really is no point trading either out this week… unless youre going to use both trades next week. another thing to think about is that horsley has a bye this week so if you need the points then youre better off with him out.
