I must say I’m tempted to give the captaincy to JPod this week. His scores at the cattery have been big (156, 144, 145 last three games there) with a bag of five every game there and it’s against the struggling lions.

You need to upgrade at least 2 players and leave yourself 2 trades to use in finals. IMO you should upgrade Waters and P Davis. If you can then upgrade Maguire come finals.
So Silvagni to Smith then up Waters.
Then next week Whoever has more value out of Hitchcock and Gumby to up Davis. Maybe even try and get Goodes this week before his price goes up then worry about defence next week.

C.F.K.A.C. You asked me earlier in the week about the bloke that won the comp last year. I think you asked me how he is going this year.
His team name is “Life Post-Richo” and he is in 3,143rd position and has scored 35,701 pts so far this year. I am beating him thus far 14/1648/Y vs 15/1469/Y with both of us using Selwood as skippers. Our remaining uniques are; me Harbrow, Red Thai & Gia, him, Cross & Hall. Hopefully I can defeat him this time round and sew up my finals spot.

Chino, my advice is it’s time for some upgrades….. need to get rid of those 3 fr finals. I too have Danger-man, and he is average… he’s my last player pegged to be upgraded for finals…… Play Leon this week.

Took the “C” off GAblett at the start of the week out of sheer frustration and anger, swearing he was done as my captain, time to stick with Hodge.
Then I remembered they’re playing Brisbane at Skilled and put it back to Ablett. Worth the risk — he could poll 200+

Despite my declaration against the GAJ option ever occurring again after drafting him in for Barlow and annointing him to the head of the leadership group, I will stick firm as I’m likely to win the final two rounds without a strong score.
Although I have maintained the philosophy that he’s signed for GC17 early in the season and therefore this has adversely impacted on his form and Bomber’s strategy towards limiting his midfield exposure, my feel is that the coach will place the premiership opportunity above pragmatic probabilities and release the little master back into his natural habitat in the last few rounds of the season to have him primed for a finals assault.
