Praise for Malceski, Judd, Didak, Jolly and Rockliff…

The chopping block for Enright, Ablett, Pods, J.Kennedy…

Any cheap forwards you could recommend at this stage of the season? Cheap but maintaining a good average, I don’t need a dud this close to the finals!

How cheap, Glenny? If Roos keeps Goodes (396k) in the midfield (he’d be mad if he didn’t), he would have to be the value-bet if you have the cash. If not, Higgins (310k) is a bit cheaper and good value (if he doesn’t fall in any Etihad potholes). Cheaper still are a couple of young guns from the Crows, Jaensch (269k) and Henderson (251k). And then you’ve got RTarrant (100k) who got a scored a decent 62 on debut.

Massive shout out to Ricky Henderson for his 136 points as my emergency for Goddard… can’t ask much more from an emergency!
Buddy is starting to string some nice games/scores together.
I gave Goodes a spray a couple of weeks ago but no doubting his efforts this week hopefully the run of form continues. I didn’t see the game did Roos have him playing more on the ball? If so I hope he continues to play him there.
Happy with the contributions of my newest additions Montagna and Didak, I know they will make a difference come finals time.
ROK continues his inconsistent form, it was one thing you could rely on in previous years he was consistent.
Enright is entitled to a quiet one… he is generally very reliable!
Scored exactly my average so I guess I could expect better but can’t give them a rollicking for a substandard performance.

Don’t sound like a permanent move to the midfield.

Wish i had trades up my sleeve to put people under a microscope but with 3 trades remaining and a score of 2347 this round my trades are solely for LTI’s. Still got Brown, Waite and Hille to slot back into the team too. Just hope the MRP looks favourably on Buddy’s whack on Scarlett early in the game.

I think the MRP rub their hands together when they sit down to review anything to do with Buddy.

Oh Ricky, you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind, hey Ricky, hey Ricky!
My Barlow replacement, Judd, got me over the line…………just! (sorry Motts – you must be grumbling words similar to Bobcats from Sat).
GAJ, oh GAJ……..what has happened? Got plenty of the ball but clangered it up big time.

1977, my teams falling apart, with injuries, guns not performing and trades running low. Lost my second game for the season, with a couple of hard games to come. Why can’t ROK and Goodes have a good game on the same day? It sure hurt copping a donut from Gumbles late withdrawal (Brown and Fyfe already out), especially when my fwd/back dpp Henderson was warming the pine in the fwds with a lazy 136 :-(

2361. Very pleased, no injuries this round and still 6 trades left (which I’ll hold on to until finals).
UPS- Kennelly’s 139 was outstanding considering his form. Selwood’s 144, Judd’s 140, Buddy’s 141, Rosky’s 116 and Higgins’ 102 (FINALLY!).
DOWNS- Enright’s 38, Roberton’s 29, GAJ’s 79; Was at the game, he handballed way too much and every time he kicked it was either smothered or marked by opposition.
QUESTION:
In the first round of SC Finals is it 1st VS 2nd and 3rd VS 4th? Or is it 1st VS 4th and 2nd VS 3rd?

It emulates the AFL system: 1 v 4, 2 v 3 -> winners have a week off, losers play winners of 5 v 8 and 6 v 7 (I think).

Was a bit of a bizzarro round for me at least, with the a lot of premiums under-performing and a lot of the lesser names pulling big scores. Goddard’s withdrawal cost me big time with no cover. Still waiting to get my best 22 on the field and until then I won’t be pulling big scores. Hrumph.

Where is GAJ’s mind recently? Got a lot of the pill, but at times didn’t use it well.

Hodge against the Lions down in the Apple Isle could prove fruitful.

Yeah, just about had enough of GAJ as the perma-captain, but we all know what will happen if I change captains.

Since i’ve only got three trades left at least having five or six people to weigh up as captains is giving me something to do instead of work. Went Swanny this round, not sure who i’ll go on the weekend.

I think the sports writers at the HS have Ablett permanently in their best-ons, no matter how he plays. His disposal efficiency was a meagre 53% on Saturday, meaning 15 disposals were crap. I think they’re just in love with the little bald man and just see the number of possessions he gets and that’s enough for them. He didn’t get any votes from the coaches, so why should he from a journalist (infatuated or not)?!

Jets — Brake, Joelwood, Marc Murphy and Chappy
Flops — NicNat, ROK and the latest edition of the team GAJ, thanks guys.

Hopefully Waite, JB and Goddard are all back this week and I will finally have my best team on the park for the very first time this year, Hopefully.

I noticed Sheeds completely ignored your question in the HS Live Chat, PA? Maybe if you didn’t start by thanking him for the easy win . . .

Not sure if anyone has heard about this kid but Ashley Smith from WCE got a 92 on his debut and costs 100k as a defender.
