The Polling Station – Rd4

Written by Schwarzwalder on April 9 2018

Welcome to the Polling Station at SCT……where you control the content!

Instead of guessing what our Coaches would like to see during the week at SCT, we find it’s much easier if we just ask ๐Ÿ˜‰ย  So what would you like to see at SCT this week?ย  Another poll on Merrett?ย  One for Coniglio?ย  Is he a keeper in the midfield?ย  Whatever poll it may be, we’ll do our best to fit it into our schedule before Rd4.ย  Over to you, Coaches……….

    1. Gives a good indication of who has been trigger happy with corrections or who has been shafted by players like Crouch Ryder Greene and their injuries

  1. With guys like titch, martin and fyfe looking like pretty reliable vc/c choices is Danger the must have player he has been for the last 3 seasons?

    1. I think he is a must-have for sure. However, hoping we can wait till he drops to ~600k.

Plenty of other fallen premiums on the horizon e.g. Merrett, Yeo, Beams, Kelly, Oliver, Houli & Rockliff (?) who are all proven scorers.

      1. Yeah I should have phrased it better, he will def end up top 8 mids I just dont know if he is the highest priority trade in target at this point.

      2. Yeah, hasn’t looked like a ‘get him in at all costs’ type yet but we all know what he’s capable of.

As for getting him around 600k, good luck. I’ve played with the numbers and he’d have to post up 5 scores of 100 in a row to drop under 600k (after round 8). Not saying it can’t happen but I don’t think anyone here would be betting that it would.

        1. Only needs one bad game to drop substantially. Was averaging 125 last year before a 65 followed by a 110 and 112 saw him reduced to 560k!

    1. Yes this.

In general, is it worth trading out dud expensive rookies for cheaper rookies?
Is it too early to tell and they’ll come good?

  2. At what point does logging into SCT become “I’m addicted – the wife will kill me / work may sack me – material?”
    30 times a week
    50 times a week
    75 times a week
    75+

    1. No need for a poll on that. We’re all the same in these parts. There’s no such thing as too many SCT visits.

      1. Roo Bloke.

If you don’t hear from Power Rangers…….

He knocked me out in the round of 16 last year.

Any chance I can take his spot?

        1. In slightly related news the current #1 overall, Greenvale Frogs, was in the SCT group last year but isn’t this year. They were knocked out of the SCT Cup in the round of 32 by Bustling Barrys.

  3. Is Coniglio a must have our has he just had a strong start? Should those who do not have him trade him in this week?

  4. What to do with Merrett

I could have got more kicks than him on the weekend and I am 30kgs over my playing weight* (it wasnt a lean playing weight either)

  5. Franklin versus Heeney and when?

Think Heeney will punch out regular 90-110s for the season and you will probably be able to get him anytime around his starting price as he is averaging 106 and his price is same as his starting price. The reduction to Supercoach prices calculation was a massive 2.18% due to the high percentage of non three game players priced in the top 100 prices.

Buddy will be Buddy, massive with a few downers. Should drop in price this week around $10,000 -$15,ooo mark unless he goes huge again.

Both should be top 4 forwards at end of year.

Sydney have tough games rounds 5 and 6 with Crows – Cats (A) following the Bulldogs this week.
