I’m taking on Big Sexy this week for a spot in the Top 4 in my primary comp. Reckon a couple of trades will be in order. Who to jettison though? Pods? Enright? Kennelly? Decisions, decisions.

Must-win for me next week, 9 teams all on the same points so i could go top or finish outside the 8!!!
Concerned with the form of Enright, Maguire & Fyfe. Only have 1 trade left though so might just sit on it until finals.

Wow … what an amazingly level league.
I’ve got a mate in my league who is the 2nd highest scorer but he’s sitting 10th and two games behind 8th.
Get some strange results sometimes in these leagues.

In the opening six weeks of league he was 0-6 but however he was the highest scorer in our league and as soon as he lost that title he started getting wins.

I have an issue with backmen being tagged, namely Enright and Gilbert. Memo to coaches coaching against the cats and saints: Could the focus on those teams please be shifted to Milburn and Fisher to free up the other two? It would be much appreciated.

Im in struggle town! The result of the last round means nothing, top 4 is set and top 8 are set. This was going to be my week for upgrades and my team would be set and ready. Now i hear Goodwin is out for season?? Simon Black I cant find any info on?? So instead of upgrades, im forced to waste my precious precious trades on LTI. Im sitting 5th on the ladder so no 2nd chances and my team is struggling.
Need these boys to lift there game or ill only be playing one finals game. Enright, Gilbert, Gilbee, ROK, Browny, Pod.
Do it like u did it this week from now on: Goodes, Malceski, Scotland, M Murphy, Lenny, Betts.

Well well well, my team is in big strife. Been downhill for the last 4 games after my higest score, been getting worse each week. Only managed 1943 this week, lowest of the year. I get Shaw, Davis and Cloke back this week, hopefully, so i wont have to play Roberton (16) and Sheppard (27) on the field. I have major letdowns everyehwere, especially tippett’s 32 because i needed 53 from him to win against RIcho, but i lost by 20.
I am going to make some big changes to try and knock off Ice Man, although it looks very unlikely, so it might be an early finals exit from me…

Tippy’s score sucks and I am so happy that I Ackered him from my squad. What I find amazing is that in my ruck division of Sandi/Cox/ Trengove & Warnock, the high score was bloody Warnock!!!

In that league which is insanely competitive (R.17th overall), only the top 3 teams are guaranteed a finals spot. Positions 4-12 are separated by 1 game with the highest percentage being 101.55, and the lowest being 97.63. I am 5th and play the bottom team who scored 2170 this week, so I am not over the line, esp as I have completed my dalliances in the market place.
Won all 3 games including last years overall winner so I’m quite pleased about that. Bringing Selwood in was the difference, thank you Joel.
How are you good people shaping in your leagues? Will you play finals? Will you be making big changes to your team?

In one league Im on top, 2 games clear, only dropped two games, by 23 and 24 points. Second league Im in i am 6th, but guaranteed finals. Third league, with motts etc. im 6th, with finals guranteed, but a tough game versing Ice Man this week.
My trades situation limits what i can do haha

Are you guaranteed a finals spot? If so look to using your trades in the finals because you can be sure that Motts et al will be looking to strengthen their teams. That said, I reckon when your @ the dance, anything is possible.
If ur not guaranteed to make it maybe its time recruit the big roo, maybe the big Trav into Roo or someone who is averaging less than 80?

In League 1, I’m sittin in 8th with a win clear. League 2 with the SCT folk, I’m 2nd a win behind Mottsy but a win clear of Frosty in 3rd, looks like I’ll will be facing him in the first week of the finals. In League 3 I’m 2nd, 2 wins clear from 3rd,only losing one game to Sheedy back in R4.

I didn’t post my other 2 leagues. In League 1, I am second having lost two and being one win behind 1st. In League 2, I am undefeated and in top spot and hope it doesn’t go pear in the finals

Seems like there’s a theme here. My teams a mess as well, 2053 this week, and that’s only because I captained Swan.
Same spuds as everyone else, with 9 players going under 65 points. Shattered that I traded out Waters to Grundy, 50 point slap in the face.

#1 – $$$ league: 2 games clear on top
#2 – League established by another website like this (only discovered this site once the season had started): 4th but equal with 8th. Should win my game but could be pipped for 4th spot by %.
#3 – Random SC crappy league: 2nd and there’s only 4 of us with good teams
Only got 3 trades left so i’ll be tight on the trade front again. Waite’s been great for me (when he plays!!). His report looks soft but if he goes his record will mean he gets the chair!! Hille will return so Skipper goes back to the pine. Not overly happy with the form of a few of my ugrades in Gilbert, Enright and Bartel who seem to be good or bad and never moderate.

Top Spot sewn up in my work & family leagues. Currently 3rd in the pro league & may hang on to top 4 even if I loose.
Happy with these outcomes so a no-trade week coming up to look closely at injurys & form. Also the b/e for my possibile trade outs are low & the trade in’s are high.

2278 this week, in my 1st league 4th and clear by 1 game to 5th but behind 3 by 1 win, 2nd league i’m 2nd equal first and guarenteed 2nd spot, 3rd league SC league no hope of making top finals 13th

2 games clear on the top and am playing a good friend who I smashed by ~350 points last year so I’m sure he’ll be out for revenge. Not happy with ROK, Enright or Pods, and have had an ordinary ruck division all year. Will persevere with the rucks, but ROK or Pods will have to make way for Roo or Didak. Might also have to give Goodwin the boot if his mystery ankly injury doesn’t improve. Thankfully, I traded Smith in for Sheppard and he was my emergency for Goodwin.
PS. Loved the advice of playing Rockliff over Brown!
