After 17 H&A games, 3 finals, a 3-hr live draft and plenty of sledging, the final of our SCT Draft league takes place this weekend, with Koray’s Bearded Burblers taking on Adam’s All Stars.
In the prelims it was a comfortable win to the Burblers (1093) over BBQbarbs (984), who unfortunately had Danger as C. While in the other final, it was the All stars (1094) having a solid win over Chillo’s Champs (969), who also had a captain failure in Zorko
Looking at both finalists’ prelim scores, it seems the final will go down do the wire, with potentially Neale going large against the hapless Suns being the deciding factor.
Who will be the SCT Draft Champion of 2019?!

Can I ask, have people been making trades? My draft league experience has been season after season of NO trades.
Without checking every round, we have had a handful of team trades go through and even a double trade. I picked up Sheed for Hibberd early in the piece which I’m wrapped with. The positive is that most coaches were very active in offering up trades, though everybody wants to receive a lot and give up very little. Even now, Adam and I are offering each other trades!
I can’t remember many/if any trades that have been completed I’ve been involved in this year but have thoroughly enjoyed my 1st season playing the draft format. Nearly executed the Gresham and Simpson deal which I liked until I found out that he’s missing this week.

I only just found out about Gresh as well. And considering he was my top scoring FWD, I might be in trouble.
