Hey Schwarz, can you add Cole and O’Connor to the def rookie poll. Really surprised that Cole is in so few teams, scored better than Coffield and looks to have better JS too.
Cole to miss week 1 due to the death of his Father earlier this week
Ohhh that’s terrible news, poor guy. Might be a good downgrade/correction trade in a few weeks.
Yes had him in my team up until that point
Oh wow, I didn’t know that.
He hadn’t been appearing in most other Rookie guides so I was hoping for him to be a good rookie POD.
Sad to hear that though, especially considering the young fella is only 20 years old
Agreed….as much as we are all footy tragics….its’ only a game…..
Will Forgarty play when Tex returns in rd2?
Was about to ask that. What are people thoughts on fogarty? sc friendly role? Because with so little to pick from in the forward line he must be considered.
Looks unlikey but Ricciuto did say he can play fwd or back in the JLT match so they may find a spot for him somewhere if he plays well enough. If it were up to me I’d play him ahead of Jenkins.
How will Fogerty play R1?
With Brad Crouch going down ,there is spots opening up at the Crows.
The kid is built for this game and can really play any where.
If the Crows win? and I think they will.He may just snag a few goals.
Also.. the Crows have blooded very few players over the last few years.Maybe its time?
I think his JS may not be too bad.
He sits at F5 for now
Throwing in Tiziani for the forwards, scored pretty decently when you consider he was injured in JLT 2, at almost 1 point per minute.
Injured Shoulder
Geelong category-B rookie Mark O’Connor (DEF, $123,900) has been upgraded to the senior list ahead of round 1.
Scored 69 points in 69 % TOG in JLT2 – definitely one to consider if named.
Also has def/mid status. On the radar for sure
Liam ryan may play but does anyone question his scoring ability?
He may pop up and kick a goal or two but i wouldnt expect anything more than around 40 ave….. i dont rate him at this level
Langdon…frisch and garlett are the best options
On the plus side he has strong js … does Garlett have strong js?
Very strong JS loved him in the saints game. Pickett going down with injury means Garlett is a lock for a small fwd role. Ceiling wont be high however we’ll be lucky for a 50-60 average.
I think 70 points gives him js
