Yeah thanks guys I appreciate it. Interesting to see if McEvoy goes to Perth. I think he he was stiff to get dropped. Anyone know anything?
I hopeing to see Lynch, Jacobs in…. and I Smith return!
Also, interested in Higgins…. kind of hoping he’s dropped to buy me some time to trade him out before his price dips further.
Mumford’s out with a knee injury.
Want Lake back in, and in form.
Can pick him up cheap.
Hi Michael, I took your teams out to tidy up the comments, thanks for updating tho 🙂
gee big cox is the only genuine scoring ruckmen running around this week all the big names dropped off like flies
Looks like there will be a few SC teams scrambling this week to avoid a few Doughnuts. One bloke in my league has Enright, Gram, Taylor, Sandi, Warnock, Swan, Watson, Smith and Rockliffe. He is two shades of screwed this week.
Rucks descimated this week across the board!
Any news on Higgins and his op
Z.Smith will be carrying a few SC teams on his shoulders this week!
Haha Robert Warnock. Nice one BS.
Do you think Swan will play?
On top of all the other big outs, could make for some upsets this week. Hopefully the sneakies can get over The Big Sexy like they got over PA last week (diff league)!
Isaac Smith isn’t playing? Is he really that badly injured?
Is Swan a possible out?
Can’t decide who to get, lynch or Jacobs???????
About time Cowan was named he is a huge talent
hey guys, finally cracked it with higgins so he is out this week. Am going to do a double upgrade, just dont know who to bring in atm. Theres so many options!
Money isnt a issue so who which 2 out of these players do you think?
Boyd, Priddis, Chapman, S. Thompson, Ablett
Am going to hold off on Pav and see how he goes without sandi this week
Am leaning towards a combo of boyd, chappy and priddis atm
Just a quick clarification to all those supercoachers out there that are thinking of bringing in Lynch this week. You want to get Tom Lynch from Gold Coast, not Tom Lynch from St Kilda. Both are spelled the same way. Both are listed as a forward. Both have played under 3 games. And both have been named to play this weekend. I wouldn’t have thought many would make that mistake, but you never know.
Will go
Stanley- Jacobs
Krakouer- Priddis

I was thinking the exact same max, either that or tappy to lynch
Krak to Montags
anyone know an estimate of how much Lynch (Gold Coast) will go up in price?
Thanks.
ok, its poll time. Trading in S.Thompson this week for either:
C.Ward ave. 81, b/e 79
next 3 vs Hawks (ES), Cats (SS), Saints (ES) (Thumbs up)
OR
A.Krakouer ave 79, b/e 61
next 3 vs Eagles, Saints, Demons (all at the G) (Thumbs down)
Leaning towards dumping Ward because of the 45 last week and the tough draw coming up.
Thoughts?
What happened to Josh Toy?
He can’t even break into Gold Coasts outfit.
Is he dead?
I am in a bit of trouble this week to fill a defensive lineup.
so should i trade:
Swan for Scotland (move to denfense) (thumbs up)
or
Garland for Lower (thumbs down)
Don’t wan to chuck to c on swannie or Boyd this week due to injury and awful team.
Tossing up between:
Marc Murphy- vs melb, prob get the main tag after a great week and Judd under an injury cloud.
Scott Thompson- vs lions, great form and vs an easy team.
Can I get a thumps up for murphy and thumps down for thommo
im definitely going selwood for captain this week, I can’t understand why anyone with selwood would go any different
DEF: ADCOCK, GODDARD, BIRCHALL, MURPHY, SHAW R, GRAM, GARLAND

(TAPSCOTT, VON BERTOCH, FERGUSON)
Gram, Garland not playing. Keeffe may play..
70,000 dollars 14 trades.
What should i do? looking at other Tom Lynch however i need defenders.
Any help thanks!
Geez….i reckon this round is just as bad as havin a multi bye….alotta players gettin sore this mid season. But not as sore as the headache i’ll be experiencing tryin to DPP the sh*t outta my team to avoid the poisoned doughtnut.
Quik rundown….
*So Cam Pedersen kicks 8 goals in the VFL & Lachie Hansen has a near touchless game against Brisbane…..& Cam still cant get another game???
i have a theory that Brad Scott is an aggressive closet homosexual who wanted to show Pedersen his ‘shinBONER’ only to have his advances rejected. Only logical explanation i can think of. With a B/E of -100, you wouldnt trade him out….yet.
* BIG SANDY is out for a month & if there’s a Zac Smith injury this weekend i can confirm 99% of all supercoaches will smash their TV/computer/radio/iphone.
*Who has the supercoach testicles to put the big C on Ablett?….he will either score a dismal (by his standards) 70 or 80 points or absolutely rip it up at home with another 190+ performance against a tired but still great Geelong side. Only a star like Ablett can beat the odds. Maybe Massive is a safer bet. Oh a commentators dream… “Cox runs into Sidebottom but slips the tackle only to be confronted by Goldsack”.
* We might get to see Mzunga play a full game which only leaves Ian Callinan as the only cheap rookie DPP left worth getting….& its only round 10! if that european midget Dion Prestia F/M comes good he’s still priced at $176,900.
Not really liking this round….should be better next week when Port has the bye & everyone will pretty much have maximum scoring potential (unless you literally have a sh*t load of Power players).
Sooo Good luck fellow coaches…..may all your ruck coverage….be good coverage 🙂
2 week plan
this week
tappscot to lynch
andreoli to jacobs
next week
pitt to mzungu
thumbs up good trades
thumbs down bad tardes
who would you trade out of matera, curmow, wallis for smith?
So many mids, too hard to choose from.
Will Ablett begin to consistently crack the ton now?
If we think so then I’m locking him in.
Otherwise I’m looking at S. Thompson or Priddis.
S. Thompson if I want cash for Buddy next week, Priddis if I don’t (can afford to save trades next few weeks with easy league games).
Also want Boyd but price should drop some more this week so I’ll hold off I think
Thumbs Up: Ablett
Thumbs Down: S. Thompson or Priddis
Should i trade thompson or toy for Jacobs?
If i trade thompson it will spare me an extra 50K but i will cop a dount
If i trade toy i will lose 50K but obviously wont cop a donut.
Thumbs up-thompson
Thumbs down-toy
Hey guys just wondering on your thoughts of McKernan playing and when does the Sunday teams get confirmed?
who should i put in for Big Sandi
Thumbs up for Smith
Thumbs down for Petrie
Yeah but with the heppell, enright and otten out my only chance is Mckernan, tough round for everybody all we need now is Swan to be a late withdraw lol
My team is as for this round: Have 14 trades left after this round.
B: Deledio, Adcock, goddard, Shaw, Gibbs, Lower, Puopolo
(Heppel, Jacobs, hibbered)
C: Swan, Pendles, Boyd, Priddis, Cotchin, Sewood (c),
(libba, Harris, Smith)
R: Cox, Smith
(sandi, Campbell)
F: Buddy, Pav, O’keefe, N Roo, Dangerfield, Darling, Krakour
(Matera, richardson, Siposs)
100 k in bank.
Ranked 83 overall
Just after some advice as to what to do next,
This forum is by far the best of any.
Thank you motts
I will mate, just found this forum and yes I know that some readers just read and don’t help out!
first piece of advice is that Swan will play
Have just sold D Swallow for Jacobs and now have $305,500 in the kitty.
Interested in peoples thoughts for a Tapscott upgrade target. I currently have Buddy, RO’K and N Riewoldt (i have others, none are doing that sensationally for me). Currently thinking of Goodes on the advice of the yscc podcast but really feel stuck. Chappy and Fyfe are other obvious options. Thoughts??
D Swallow M5, Krakouer M6, Harris M7
Go with it? UP
Change? DOWN
Jacko, well well ….looks like we need advice from you. Great-position your in ranked top hundred. Looks like ur frwd line can improve a bit. If u don’t chappy maybe consider Sylvia as FM and later u can get didak. But first and formost get GOODES!! Once again FM. Great midfield bud and I’ll be watching ur team with great interest. Good luck!
I just basically repeated Yiogakis. Sorry!!! But you get the drift forward mids. Hey yoigakis how you going ranking wise? I’m 1600
Going to really get into some up grades now 🙂
Higgins > N. Riewoldt
Swallow > Ablett
Was a tough pick between Ablett and Hodge for me, next week I will grab Hodge if he’s still on the up and Goddard.
That’s the goal this year yogi, maybe next year top 100 and the year after that the house!!! Ok the car. Over380000 supercoach teams and only 50k prize money. It’s 2011 for goodness sake. The Afl, champion data and the heraldsun should really look at this. We watch every game, every minute of every moment. From Thursday teams to Sunday night results. We deserve more for our 39 hour weekly obsession.
Not much to talk about me beloved Power, but a story today about Jacobs for those interested. PS His girlfriend ain’t too bad either.
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/port-adelaide-power-rookie-ben-jacobs-footy-obsession/story-e6frecj3-1226063718340
Was planning Tapp-Lynch and Swallow-Hodge, but then Toy and I Smith didn’t get selected, making me think I should get Jacobs
Questions for the masses
Toy-Jacobs (thumbs up)
Swallow-Hodge (thumbs down)
Good day to all,
Last thoughts on the Sandilands issue. Whilst I was still keen on trading him, it’s more really out of the need for a bit of extra cash (and ruck flexibility). I’ll be trading Tapscott –> Lynch, which should give me about $150,000 in the bank (not quite enough to do a decent upgrade).
As such, I’m thinking of trading Josh Fraser –> Joel Tippett. I started with Fraser as my R3 (Z. Smith as R4), but Smith is still firing, and if I bring Tippett in, then I can use Petrie as a backup to Cox & Smith.
Doing this trade down should put my bank balance up to about $300K … more than enough to assist with a few decent premium upgrades over the coming weeks.
Thoughts? Comments would be appreciated,.
Thumbs UP to ditch Fraser
Thumbs DOWN to ditch Sandilands
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
BACKS: Deledio, Shaw, Fisher, Heppell, Gibbs, Broughton, Lower, Stanley, Batchelor, Hibberd
MIDS: Swan, Selwood, Boyd, Goddard, Goodes, Libba, Swallow, Harris, Prestia
138k in bank.
Swallow is gone for Priddis/Pendles.
Want Jacobs
Should I go downgrade Libba/Prestia for more D/M flexibility? Thumbs up
Or, save Mid cash cows and downgrade Batchelor/Stanley. Thumbs down
Following the above, I’m leaning towards Mids.
Jacobs to Prestia? Thumbs up
Jacobs to Libba? Thumbs down
(Got Lynch, Smith in forwards, Mzungu in for Tapscott next week)
Im thinking
Tapscott out Mzungu in
McEvoy out COX in
Thoughts?
What to do with my backs this week??
Gibbs , deledio, shaw, fisher, broughton, lower, BUCKLEY
(Mckernan, Markovic, HEPPELL)
Mids are Swan, Pendles, Bartel, Joelwood, Cotchin, Libba (hibberd, Harris, atley)
Going for overall and can’t cop a zero!
Start Buckley or Markovic? Trade in Poo? Jacobs? Goddard into mids to swap into def? Do Nothing?
Thoughts please!!!
39 hours??? Yeh I know I’m much more desperate than that. 50k is great? Mmmm. Yes it is. But I don’t know if you heArd, the afl deal worth 1.3 billion dollars. I watch or listen or upload my iPhone all week. I’m guessing that’s what afl want. We are 2011 mate. Internet and commercials??
Trades complete!
Are the rumours true that Swan and Judd aren’t gonna play?
What do people think of a fully stocked team come round 18 (post hawks bye) with Heppell and Petrie on the bench as super subs for my D/M and R/F lines? I’ve done a little bit of planning and it looks like this is a definite possibility, leaving me with 6 trades for injuries and finals.
This week planning –
Tapscott -> Lynch (GC)
Swallow -> Thumbs Up – Ablett
Thumbs Down – Boyd
Would leave me with 16 trades & ???, Swan, Pendle, Judd, Selwood, Goddard, (Harris, Libba, Irons)
Backlines weak, but planned to upgrade them in the next 2 rounds.
trades done
Tappscott out Mzungu in
McEvoy out COX in
Now Capatin . . . COX, Selwood, Pendlebury, Goddard, Franklin?? Thoughts?
What are people thinking about Higgins?
I’m trying to dedide whether i back him or dump him.
Trade is complete:
Stanley > Jacobs
Krakouer > Hodge
Midfield for this week:
Swan, Selwood, Judd, Goddard, Priddis, Hodge
Happy 🙂
DEF: Deledio, Adcock, Goddard, Gibbs, Duigan, Lower, Broughton (Heppell, Toy Puopolo)
MIDS: Swan, Pendles, Mundy, Judd, Libba, Krakouer (Harris, Hibberd, Jacobs)
RUC: Cox, Smith (Sandi, Keefe)
FWD: Buddy, Pav, Sylvia, Petrie, Goodes, Darling, N Riewoldt (Tapscott, Matera, Richardson)
Need some help on prospective trades this week:
Tapscott –> Mzungu or Lynch??
Krakouer (from FWD) –> Chappy OR
Krakouer (from MID) –> Ablett or Priddis
1013 Overall, $130,900 in bank
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, worried about losing the MPP link between FWD and MID’s.
The Pimp My Side guys in the Hun are adamant that their mail is that Swan won’t play. Quick poll as to who to have as EMG:
Jacobs (thumbs up)
or
Harris (thumbs down)
Thoughts?
Forgetting the finals bye…..who do you choose…Chappy (DPP) or Johnson?
Already have PAV, Fyfe, Buddy, Goodes, N Roo, Darling and ROK.
trading toy for jacobs
and tapscott for lynch
will save cash and upgrade swallow next week to a premium
will leave me with 10 trades left, and will have 16 premiums.
thoughts?
138k in the bank.
MIDS: Swan, Selwood, Boyd, Goddard, Goodes Libba, Swallow, Harris, Prestia
FWD: NRoo, JRoo, Pav, Buddy, Rioli, Darling, tapscott, Matera, Lynch, I Smith
Not guaranteed top 4, so Chappy bye is relevant
Swallow to Priddis/Abblet – Thumbs Up
Swallow to Chappy – thumbs Down
OK, this is the first time i’ve posted the team sin Rate My Team pre round1
Here it is:
DEF:Deliedio, Adcock, Goddard, Shaw, Gibbs, Lower, Puopolo
(Stanley, McKernan, Toy)
MID: Mundy, Pendles, Pav, JSelwood, Libba, Krakouer
(Heppell, Harris, Hibberd)
RUC: COX, ZSmith (Sandi, JTippett)
FWD: Buddy, Boomer, Goodes, NRoo, Darling, Petrie, Higgins
(Tapscott, Matera, Richardson)
-16 trades (yet to trade this week)
-$504k in the bank
-Ranked 1,124 overall but going for a league win.
Tough opponent this week, easy few next weeks.
I’m thinking double trade this week, then the team should be stable for a few weeks.
Currently thinking:
Tapscott -> Lynch
Higgins -> Fyfe
That leave me 14 trades and $556k in the bank
Tempted to double upgrade, but I think the cash will be of better use for my later trades.
What do you think? I think I like it!
Its a lot of Freo, is there anyone better i should be looking at?
I’d love you thoughts…
Enright I hate you! Not only have you been underperforming the last few weeks but now you are out with “Soreness”. Not good enough! Was even temped to trade you out for Delidio or Adcock – who I both dont have becuase I chose you at the start of the year over them!
Anyways sorry just had to get that out. Backline is looking pretty weak this weekend with Heppell and Ensack sitting on the pine.
I traded out Tapscott for T Lynch from GC and then traded Curnow to Hodge.
Bench cover in middle now with Harris just in case Swan doesnt play. No emergency in the backline this week is a worry. Hoping Suckling plays!
I have narrowed the choice to either S.Thompson av 113 $475k or M.Murphy av 114 502k.
Who should I grab? up thommo down smurf
Captain for the forthcoming round?
Thumbs up – M. Murphy
Thumbs down – Frankiln
Who do I play on the field in my mids this week? Ur thoughts much appreciated.
Daniel Harris?
David Swallow?
Tom Libretore?
T UP for Harris
T DOWN for Swallow
Or comments for Libba
Hey guys sorry to link here but this guy writes the best supercoach content I’ve found
Round 10 Supercoach preview
: http://www.thisisafl.com/blog/2011/05/10-supercoach-preview/
Anyone remember who Port’s sub was last week?
Pretty sure Jacobs was in his first game, but started last week. Not sure whether to bring him in.
Tapscott –> Lynch
Grimes –> Adcock
OR
Tapscott –> Lynch
Luke Thompson –> Jacobs
OR
Luke Thompson –> Jacobs
Grimes –> Adcock
Option #2 seems the most sensible as Lynch and Jacobs look like good future cash cows, and generally as the season goes on it’s slim picking in terms of cash cows, good cash cows that is.
But I really want more premiums!
If I do option #2, I will most like upgrade Grimes to Adcock and Swallow to Priddis/Swan.
Thoughts? Option #1, #2 or #3?
Then I’ll only have Duigan, Krakouer and Petrie left to upgrade with 13 trades left. Keeping Darling, and will have to get rid of Heppell later in the year because of the finals bye.
ok last minute decision
Higgins out, Who in SThompson or Fyfe
PS excuse the repost from a reply above, but its getting down to the wire!

Fellas I’m in a dilemma and need some advise….
Below is my team….
Backs) Lids Goddard Gibbs Shaw Broughton Suckling Puopolo
Heppell Mckernan Toy
Mids) Swan Boys Selwood Burgoyne Harris Krak
Swallow Iles Bewick
Forwards) Buddy Goodes N.Roo Rioli Stevie J Yarran Darling
Tapscott Richardson Prestia
17 trades left
15k in the bank
My first trade is Swallow – Jacobs for DPP relief
I want to strengthen my mids but if I replace krak also I lose my fprward DPP unless I get a Pav Sylvia Fyfe…..
If I downgrade Tapscott to Lynch then I cant get Jacobs in…..
Or bite the buller on burger????
Any wisdom on what you would do here would be greatly appreciated….
Team locked and loaded.
Libba – Jacobs
Tappy – Chappy

Nicholson and armfield are the subs. Judd IS still playing. No late changes for either side.
Gday Fellas,
Downgrading D.Swallow this week so I can upgrade to Big Cox.
Whats your thoughts on either T.Mzungu or I.Smith…
Both give good flexibitiliy through DPP and Smith is only a Test for soreness so should be back next week.

Never seen supercoach scores update after half time in ‘Match Centre’ before. Is this a new feature?
traded L Thompson to Jacobs & upgraded Tapscott to Chappy. have been a little too quick (actually a lot) with trades in past, so am developing a plan for the first time. Going for bragging rights ranked around 58K whic is brilliant for me.
