        1. Unless Thompson, Cameron, Otten, Beech and Hartigan are all from Collingwood too, then no ๐Ÿ˜›

    1. I traded him to merett as I though it was 4 weeks. Oh well out of him and selwood in a few weeks as to who bottoms out more

      1. Only a season keeper if I run low on trades. Being prone to be injured during games is a big risk.

  1. JJK is killing me. Another ‘not this week but next’. Heard that four weeks ago. A 2-3 week injury is now at 7.

TU – hold, definitely back next week
TD – trade, get him the hell out

    1. I am holding him, i have come this far i am not backing out now and i feel if i trade him out the player i bring in will get injured next week and i will be in the same position as i started

  2. Just hanging in to make the eight in three leagues , no Gaz no Zwilliams no
Greenwood , trade plans rooted , wow I am looking forward to this weekend
and the next 3. I know I am not alone though. Is Joel going to play ? and Preuss
named emg so Goldy ? Last week I said bullshit on the site , this week I really want to say FUSC. Anyway I will check results monday and hope I am still alive!

      1. there is a theme appearing, 2 T/D on my weakest link post , now two T/D on this post , but no response to my apology.
No more posts from me this year. You could put your name up if you have a
        problem with me though!

          1. Just ignore it, some people just react to things differently. Best of luck with the rest of the season as i am in a very similar position to you

          2. I didn’t give you a Thunbs down Bruce , but you are being a bit precious. If everyone got offended by getting thunbs down no one would post on the site.

That is what the thumbs are there for. Just as in life not everyone will like what you say , so it is just the same on the site.

I have recieved more than 10 dislikes before. Just be big enough or man enough to cop a couple of dislikes for whatever reason on the chin and move on.

            1. The Death Adder is right Bruce. If the writers on this site worried about Thumbs Down we would have stopped writing after Round 1.

I lkke to thumb down my own post first. It’s quite cathartic!

            2. Reading through this thread just now and I gave some TU to things i liked, maybe laughed at and gave a TD to some things to. Gave you a TD cause it seemed an overreaction to the team lists. Compared to the carnage of some weeks this week seemed a breeze.

              13

              2
              1. Good feedback thanks everyone , actually T/D don’t really bother me, in fact I poked a bit of fun at myself in weakest link thread being the only one to get thumbs down, however I think I might have to go outside and yell at the moon when I get a bit frustrated
with teams. No excuses but I also have marchbank, shaz, bolton
so I am very light on this week.
All the best to everyone for the rest of the season.

                13

                1
  3. Fair bit of carnage for my team – Sandi, Barrett, Scooter, Greenwood, Scharenberg all out (plus Cousins who might be done for the year).

Does Matt White survive the cut at Port – as I need him to play (or else I need to play Parsons on field – yikes)!!!

Hombsch is a definite in as he is named on the ground for Port, and there is currently no outs.

    Port’s 7 man bench is: Neade / White / Impey / Pittard / Drew / Atley / Houston

T / up He has been pretty good / won’t get dropped for his 150th game
    t / down GONE

    1. why not wait until tomorrow night when final Sunday teams are named as you will still have at least an hour to makes changes after they are named

  4. Greenwood being out means I’m looking at a donut in my FWD line. I can solve this by selecting one of these 2 options (I have 9 trades before I start) :

TU Option A : OUT Cousins & SPP from my mids – IN Nth’s Hibberd & Gawn,
(by moving Nank to the forward line – this opens up a DEF/MID DPP link with Witherden, and a RUCK/FWD DPP link with Strnadica) 7 trades & $101,300 remaining after these trades. This option gives me a MID emergency (could be neede if J Selwood is a late out), with no FWD cover.

    OR

TD: Option B : OUT – SPP – IN – Buddy (via DPP). Leaves Nank & Witts as my 2 rucks, and can trade Gawn in next week if needed / wanted. 8 trades & $144,900 remaining after this trade. But leaves me with no emergency MID or FWD cover

    1. It’s a really good question and one that I would also like to know. With his wanting to head back to Geelong next year and this year starting to head to the home stretch, how much of his injury is going to be politically effected? i.e are the selection panal preparing themselves for life after Gaz now that they are unlikely to feature in the finals?

  5. If north really are considering trading Goldy, then they have to play Preuss to find out if he is worthwhile.
He could be the next Mumford or he could be then next Vickery.

  7. Poor Harry McKay still can’t get a game. Come on Bolton, stop naming him if you’re not going to play him.
