The Teams – R2

Written by Motts on March 30 2017

Last week it was a member of the SCT Crew who beat all to the punch with the teams. Will Huttabito do it again? Yes… yes he does, for Thursday’s game at least!

Thanks to Nateo for Friday night’s early teams!

    1. If you have Otten and he gets a gurnsey – start him on the bench and see how he scores. If he turns crab put Smith on the field and roll the dice on Stewart. Make sure he has the E on him.

      1. Not quite, you want to make sure Otten is on the bench with the ‘E’

If he does well, put Smith on field and you will get Otten’s score.

If he does bad, leave Smith on the bench and field Stewart.

If someone else is a late out though, you will still be covered with Ottens score.

  1. I have a problem. I selected Darrough Joyce and Joel smith as 2 of my rookies for the backline. I left collins from the dogs as potential player in future rounds but mainly as a loop option. Now that Joel Smith is injured and Joyce will most likely not play should I trade out Joel Smith to Mcgrath as I have the cash. Any better option pls help thanks!!!

    1. Wowee, now that’s a pickle if I have ever seen one! How much cash do you have on hand? You will definitely need to move someone on.

Joyce is still learning how to bounce a ball so he won’t be getting a gig this year and Smith will be out for possibly 4 months. So i’d be looking at moving one of these two depending how much coin you are trying to scrape together.

You’re not the only one, his ownership jumped from 0.1% to 4% ownership with that issue. 7,500 others are in the same boat.

    2. IMO McGrath for Smith is an excellent option if you can afford it….but of course I would say that because I have just done the same ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Because Virtual Sports, following the lead of Champion Data, replaced its programmers over the summer with well-trained monkeys. It then turned out that the monkeys were not as well-trained as previously thought.

  2. When do the teams for tomorrow’s game get named? I need to know whether I can use Darcy Cameron as a loophole in AFL Fantasy/RDT for another week.

  3. Max Gawn has injured his wrist at training today. Melb say he is “OK” but has definitely sent a scare to SC Coaches who have him.

  5. Mullett, Garner and Cunnington all named on an extended Kangas bench alongside Hibberd. Will not be surprised at all if Hibberd’s name is struck off that list come Friday afternoon.

  6. With the news that Eddy is out that opens up a forward loophole option.

    Would you:

    TU: Take Butler’s 65

TD: Back Hannan to score more.

    1. Im baffled by the structural change after a win. Impey for eddy is not a like for like swap.

Eddy’s still likely to get plenty of games but ridiculous that he gets dropped for impey in my opinion.

      1. Luckily, in my team he has magically metamorphosed into Jack Steele, so I’ll never have to worry about him again.

  7. Sunday Team Changes:

Outs: Cockatoo, Waite, Hibberd, Preuss, Mountford, Eddy, Vince and Smith.

  8. As expected, Hibberd and Mountford out for North.

Worth trading Hibberd to McGrath early seeing as Hibberd looked really poor? Not sure if he makes his way back into the team anytime soon.

  10. Who to play on the field? I have Butler’s 65 on the bench, with Eddy the other bench player. I have Taranto on the field at present, so should I
TU – Put Eddy on the field, Taranto to bench & take Butler’s 65
TD – Pray Taranto improves from last week and leave him on the field.

  11. With Preuss out Goldy becomes a huge captaincy option this week against the Cats’ hybrid ruckmen Stanley/Blicavs

    3

    6
      1. Also worth noting that Majak is back in, so would assume he is taking over Preuss role as sharing ruck with Goldy.

  12. Looking for some advice folks โ€ฆ not sure if i can / should do anything with Hibberd out in Def and Eddy in Fwds out and running with the other โ€œusualโ€ rooks in florent / houston / butler in FWS and barret Pickett parfitt Taranto and SPP in the mids?

Have $190K cash in hand, but with WHE going large he is a must it seems next week and wondering whether or not a side can survive with less cash generating players on all the lines??

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated please!

    should probably add the following:
Is there anyone decent to ditch Hibberd for down back, other than McGrath for $211.8
Should I consider downgrading Taranto to SPS to free up some cash.
Should Eddy go to Hannan this week as well
AND next week, given Florent scores, is Florent โ€“ WHE the best option?

Many thanks and Iโ€™m not sure best thread to ask this of at the moment!

  13. Goldy left training on crutches and is in serious doubt for tomorrow.
With Daw back in the side I don’t think they will take any chances with him.

  14. So much for my Goldstein captaincy comment. All Goldy owners what are you doing? Trading or holding? Was seen leaving training on crutches. Not a good sign
