NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
You can’t be serious, right??????
Isaac Heeney, Gary Rohan, Kurt Tippett and Lewis Melican have all been named to take on GWS, replacing Robbie Fox (knee), Aliir Aliir (omitted), Nic Newman (omitted) and Oliver Florent (omitted).
balic is also out that throws a massive spanner in the works
Reverse button here we come
FURL strikes again!
Listed as a hip injury, rather than omitted
Oh the carnage. Newman definitely did not deserve to be dropped.
To add to furl, we now have fujl!
sujl??
Barrett not named.
FUCF?
Balic no longer an option
He has the Harley Bโฆโฆ. disease.
FURL it is.
Newman, Balic, Preuss, Taranto are all out
O’meara hasn’t been named either :/
Meh. Can loophole hamyon and stewart with newman. Dodged the other carnage so not bad
time to reverse the trades, might bring in williamson
How on earth are we going to generate cash this season?!?!
I think we might have to pass the hat around!!
Oh we are all doomed
I know we are all scrambling right now butโฆโฆโฆโฆ.
Can anyone tell me when we find out final teams for the Monday/ Tuesday games?
Saturday arvo I think
Thanks Chillo
Ben Longโฆโฆ.Zac Fisherโฆโฆ.?
Will peeps go early?
Toying of a hairbrained scheme next round to drop Witts to Spencer to generate some cash.
Reverse button just hit what a joke!
I reckon Powell-Pepper and Roughead will be held by many a folk now.
A grand total of 1 player on my bench is named…
You have a bench player?
Newman, Hibberd, Florent, Barrett, Mountford, Strnadica, Taranto, Eddy
I can’t believe Eddy isn’t getting a game!
Ha, I guess having Stewart named is now a blessing?
Stewart, Newman, Hibberd, Mountford, Barrett, Preuss, Strnadica, Eddy.
I really cannot wait to see what score Pickett gives me from being on field for the second week in a row.
Surely FURL is taking the piss.
I think he secretly plays Supercoach and just drops a player or have them with general soreness just to mess with supercoaches. He does have an evil giggle.
I am re-naming my side The Swiss Cheeses cause I have heaps of holes in it.
No Newman, Taranto, Florent, O’Meara, Eddy or Barrett
I don’t wan’t to trade but I am going to have to. SIGH!!
Balic (Hip)
Had done Pickett to Balic. Was looking at Williamson for Hibberd but was less sure. Obviously I don’t know much.
Is Williamson a good pick? Who knows????
T/u do the trade
T/d save it
I have Newman as well but do have 6 playing defenders without Williamson.
Pickett’s starting to look like my most reliable rookie, don’t trade him those 40 pts and 5k growth a week are gold ๐
Does it count as a Cow-pocalypse now?
Instead of Balic, do we bring in Fisher? Issue is he has only played 1 game
You’d be mental after today.
Could also be a Hannan.
But what other options are there? Williamson looks good but def is not where the issues are. I wouldn’t take any of the other bubble rookies.
That’s what I’m doing, throw the SC rules in the trash this year.
Anyone who started with a team of midpricers this year is a genius.
Alright, trying to be positive now – Taranto has been ‘managed’, ie back next week, and Newman is named as an emergency.
Yep, I’m grasping at straws!
Might be the first week Mr Crispy Cream turns up?
All that Carnage and Tom Boyd is named!
4/8 players on the bench playing.
Missing Newman, Barrett, Strnadica and Eddy.
Least I can loophole?
showoff!! … good for you though Hutta!!
If I showed you how I ended up with Newman, you would call me a fool ๐ many a trade wasted.
Hopefully we have an update on Fox’s knee by tomorrow!!
He’s been put back on the rookie list.
@superfooty
Swans reinstate Gary Rohan to senior list. Robbie Fox returns to rookie list.
Yes indeed – although same thing happened to Krakouer I think last year and he was back in no time and smashed out a ton from memory.
Had my whole plan for the next 3 weeks sorted! Was trading florent – balic this week then JOM to bont next week after i downgrade parfitt/SPP to fisher. That plan has now been screwed with no JOM or balic as well as no barret newman or eddy! Have no idea what to do with JOM. Only have 118k in the bank…. Carnage! 3 questions fellow coaches .
1) Is Balic really injured with a hip and will come back in or is FURL returning already.
2) Should i risk getting in Fisher this week?
3) Any advice on what to do with Jom is appreciated
Carnage!
Should I just do my original omeara to Balic, roughie to roo trade?
Can’t believe foote held his spot & swans put another debutant in but drop Newman
Sydney Swans:
IN: Defender, Ruck, Forward, Forward
OUT: Defender, Defender, Forward, Forward
Yeah I understand but I can’t justify dropping a player whose been good for them( not just talking sc level) he ranks second in efficient kicks since rd 2 for them pretty sure
I can understand Newman being dropped, but not for Melican. It’s rookie roulette at the Swans at the moment.
With Myers taken off the LTI list, O’Meara and taranto being outs and Yeo seemingly a top 6 fwd this year is it worth
O’Meara > Myers
Taranto > Yeo
Generally against what I’d like to do but there aren’t any good downgrade option anywhere.
I have enough cash to go Taranto straight to Yeo (in the fwds)
So i am thinking about doing that and sitting on Omera for now
Well carnage carnage carnage.
But I am sticking to my trade of O’Meara to Shuey.
Just means instead of Pepper Powell going to Balic and generating some cash this week have to stick with Fisher and hope he gets some game time over the next few.
#fingerscrossedforfisher
Hopefully EVW is good.
This will forever be known as the great rookie shortage of 2017 ๐
It’s not just a shortage. This well and truly is a cow-pocalypse.
In good news, I get the weekend off as there is no rookies to review ๐
every cloud has a silver lining for sure!!
Shaw -> Adams this week??
If, after tonight’s team announcements, Heath Shaw is the biggest problem in your side, you’re probably going to win the overall competition ๐
Not the biggest problem, but i can afford to cover newman, taranto is on my bench, and I traded JOM last week… so i’m not in the worst positions (don’t want to waste trades (that is why i am reluctant on shaw -> adams)).
Was considering Taranto -> Fisher, but I’m thinking it is smarter to wait until next week at least.
Josh talking from experience, I toyed with the idea of throwing Heater under the bus early in the week, and that was obviously before last night’s carnage at the team selection table..
do yourself the biggest favour and forget about that trade.. you can get Adams down the track.. as long as I’ve got a fit 22 and a couple spare hopefully, I’ll take that this week and reasses for next week.. keep Shaw mate.. local derby up here Saturday night, I’m backing the wily ol vet in to ton it up and then some..
Thanks for the advice mate. I am going to keep Shaw and make Adams an upgrade target for Hampton or marchbank later down the track, once I free up some cash.
Let’s hope Shaw can pull together a ton, he really needs it!
Oh sweet monkey Jesus we’re screwed.
As Apple would say, This Changes Everything.โข
What’s the story with Berry (bris)? Is he a slow burn option or am I grasping at straws after reading team selections?
I knew it. I knew I couldn’t trust the Balic selection. I really hope that if it is indeed a genuine hip injury that Balic only needs a week out to get right and is back into the side asap.
#FURL (and injuries)
Carlton rookies might be the best bet this year. As a rule, once Bolton has debuted them, they haven’t been dropped. And there is some serious quality there, too (with a number yet to debut).
Have enough cash to upgrade Omeara to a decent forward via DPP
T/U – Macrae
T/D – Yeo
Comment someone else (up to 545k)
Seriously!?!? Oh well at least FURL let us know this week before wasting the trade
At least I won’t be burning any trades this week!
Geez it is going to take me hours to work out all the possible loop holes I have on each line.
Anyone trading Roughie this week?
TU: Use 2 Trades
Roughy + Taranto to Bont + Parsons
TD: Use 0 Trades
Lose money on Roughy, Taranto generates 0 instead of Parsons
Either way I only have 1/5 playing bench players in FWD/MID this week.
Parsons is suspended. Why would you bring him in?
If I’m completely honest, it was more “How do I get Bont?” and not “What’s good for my team?”
I told myself that Taranto’s getting that 0 on my bench that Parsons would get anyway.
I also told myself that Taranto–> Parsons was the plan in 2 weeks anyway so I’m not burning a trade, just doing it in a different round.
I also told myself that whether I made the trade or not I would only have 1 emergency total this round between my FWD and MID.
But at the end of the day I was prioritising today’s desire at the expense of the good of the team – and that’s not okay.
At this rate don’t be surprised if
WHE and Butler get dropped,
Wash your mouth out.
For those who have Hannan, heads up, he’s been named on field this Saturday for Casey Scorpions in the VFL. Not a certainty to miss, but doesn’t look great.
nooooooooooooooooooooo
well there you go.. I have now officially 1 maybe 2 at most spare, however still waiting on 8 other players if named for Tigers, Demons, Dons and Pies games..
if I’ve got 22 on field I’ll take it this week.. need to conserve trades, 5 down already.. after the shenanigans of last night it’s making it difficult but staying the course.. hold your nerve lads..
Why all the hysteria. Come on folk, did we really expect Balic to string together 3 games. FuRL
Going early on EVW and crossing my fingers..!!
Exhibit A: Hibberd
Exhibit B: Pruess
The sh*t twin knows not what he does.
What does furl mean
F U Ross Lyon
ah yes perfect… FURL then! Balic!!!
Hope he doesn’t bring back his favourite Zac Dawson
Still going Roughead > Stef Martin, bringing Nankervis into the FWD line.
looks like pickett’s getting a start… lets hope he smashes out another cracking 40
