Mumford to miss a month…

Sandi out this week
Leuenbergers gone a hole
Cox is on average form, along with McEvoy

Supercoach teams continue to fall apart !

Hasn’t dropped 100, and seems to be taking over from Cox…
Only problem is he hasn’t torn a game apart, despite Always threatening

Spot on EG…Got me stumped….

A poll would be great Motts with best options at some stage…
Id include Sandi in it as he is only out for a week…
Or just go Longer if named and use money else where..
Or perhaps keep him on your bench as the other rookie rucks are holding their own

Supercoach aside for a moment..
History defining is the word, 2-0 and a man down in spain, against the greatest side ever… Wow, and ramires’ goal was awesome !
Last Friday, Chelsea were $11 to win the champions league!

either one will be ok. i reckon trealoar might get rested next week or the one after, but either way he’ll make ya $$$ and so will old mac. i
agree with chris, clay and devon smith might be the only options, prob leaning towards trading clay.

Of 8 games left in the round you gave us half the teams, plus you didn’t show any footage of the Australian test cricket team. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not for the donut, simply for cash.
Current rucks are Mumford, S.Jacobs, Giles and Redden, trades were really to free up the cash to upgrade a midfielder now instead of in a few weeks time, then when Giles was ripe for picking i planned on upgrading him to a ruckman

Really not too sure why people are disliking it…
Would’ve swapped Mummy to 211 this week (if he was named)
Then downgraded Giles to a cheapie and upgraded a mid rookie to a premium in about two weeks… I just changed the order around?

Worth offloading Mummy IMO Chris. 211 could potentially miss more than one and regardless, a month is too long to have that kind of cash sitting on the bench.

With Mummy out for up to 4 weeks so I’d be looking to trade. Having said that, if you want to conserve and keep your trades for the back end of the season, Giles is scoring well enough to only cost you 20-30 pts a game.

Wowie! Talk about carnage this week for the Phat Side! GAJ, Carrots, Mohr, Dempsey, Shaw (traded for Treloar before the partial lockout), and AKennedy all out. Will have to use Smedts as my D7. Hope he doesn’t get the vest.

I’ll be doing a Ledger >> Duffield trade using Carrots as the swingman into the mids. That give’s me a full team (for now) with Smedts the only real worry at possibly getting the vest. Are you listening RB??

Then next week, it’s a smooth Carrots >> Pendles trade (unless of course the carnage continues).

Ok. I have Ledger in the mids and Carrazzo in the backs. When I press the ‘T’ for Ledger, the trade screen will come up with my team listed on the left and the mids trade options listed on the right. In my team list, any players with DDP linking them to the mids will have an ‘S’ next to them e.g. Carrazzo. Simply click on the ‘S’, and the blank player spot (where Ledger used to be) will automatically swap with Carrazzo and the trade options on the right will automatically bring up the defender options. Then just trade the new defender in.

Do the Giants share the green vest around? Currently toying with the idea of trading Wingard for Treloar since his sub-affected score last week will probably see him lose more money this week. I already have 5 Giants in my team (1 def, 1 mid, 1 ruck and 2 fwd) and am starting to think that 6 might be asking for trouble once they start being rested and/or vested.

Trade or not to trade? That is the question! :)

Treloar in for Clay Smith (Or Wingard or Colignio – not convinced of their scoring/earning power).
then move AKennedy to the mids and trade him out for SMurph (or potentially JMac, and Smurph in coming rounds.

Its a pickle!

LOEC1. Omen Blues (6th) up against the bottom of the ladder Reach Arounds who slotted in Pendles with the VC loophole. Can’t believe how similar our teams are otherwise with only 4 PODs this week. Need Selwood to smash the Big C to have any chance.

Omen v Reach Arounds
Selwood C v Pendlebury (280)
Smedts v D Smith
Lewis v Fyfe
Porplyzia v Coniglio

Will Omen stay in the Top 8?

I think you’re behind the 8-ball Omen. Selwood will probably cop the Raines tag, Smedts is a prime candidate for the Vest, Lewis and Fyfe on par, and probably the Porpoise will outscore Coniglio, but probably not by much. Good luck!

I got the league leader Roo Bloke. I know he is one short in the forwards, but I’m expecting him to trade.

A lot will depend on how Renouf plays on Sunday night against Jacobs.
Lobbe is also on the way back from hip surgery in the summer and shouldn’t be too much longer – he’s not listed on the injury list – but earlier in the preseason was expected back Rd4. Port also have ruck options in Jackson Trengove, Justin Westhoff and Daniel Stewart. Expect he’ll still get games but they’ll take the opportunity to give him plenty of rest.

Good question TruRu.

Firstly, if you have 2 Es in one position and only one OUT (e.g Ablett), you pick up the lowest E score of the two.

If you have 2 Es in one position and two OUT you’ll pick up both E scores.

However, if you have only one E and two OUTs (e.g. Ablett and Magner) you’ll pick up the E score and a doughnut.

In any case, you’ll still get the loophole VC because your captain cops a zero.

Hrm… SCTTL. One I’m considering.

D/G: Mumford to Mullet aka Ivan Maric (breakeven of 34)
U/G: Coniglio to Hayes (breakeven of 66)

Makes the midfield: Murphy, Selwood, Pendlebury, Hayes, Magner, Shiel, GAJ (bench of course), A. Kennedy.

Or: Mumford to NicNat.
Or: Mumford to Kreuzer & laugh all the way to the bank.

Hayes does look tempting GG especially this week against the Dees. He’s managed to keep his scores up in recent weeks against half decent midfields. Still good value at 484K and 66BE. However, Rds 6-9 will give a better gauge as to whether he (and the Saints) are back to tip-top. Saints v Hawks, Blues, Eagles, Swans.

Nicnat does look the goods this year. If you do pick him just thing through how you will handle teh rd11 bye when he and Giles are out. Then again it is only one week, maybe it does not matter. To be honest I am wishing I had got NicNat and not Sandi last week.

Here is a stray thought for you GG … if you pick up Roughy you can then swing him into the forward line later in the year.

Going by the ins and outs…….I am screwed. Mohr, Shaw, Dempsey, GAJ, Sandi, Redden, Big O, Kennedy and Hall =at least 2 donuts unless trades used. I am not using any trades this week as I hope that short term pain equals long term gain still applies in this screw up of a team. Chalk up a win for whoever is playing me this week. :-(

Been staring at my team for the last half an hour. Cannot find a way to avoid a donut in the forward line unless I downgrade either Kennedy/Hall to Smedts.

Will trade Ledger > Treloar and swing Treloar forward to cover 1 donut.

Feels too early to make the move on Kennedy or Hall yet.
Just cop the 3rd donut of the season? (3 Already!!??)

Now is the time we realise how much of a luxury 3 men on the bench was!

Dickson for Jmac is a no brainer.

2nd trade is a bit more tricky…Do I –

T/U – Keep Gaz on my bench and hope my 3 playing rooks(out of Magner, Sheil, Greene or Jmac) score OK. 3 premos avg – 120, 3 rooks avg – 80 =600

T/D – Trade Gaz for anyone, take the premo points and only have 2 of those rooks playing. 4 premos avg – 120, 2 rook avg – 80=640

Do you think it is worth burning 2 trades for 40-odd points extra a week while Gaz has a little rest?

C – Selwood(C), Boyd(VC), Gray, McDonald, Shiel
(Coniglio(EMER), Ablett)

(A.Kennedy, Milera(EMER))

Copping a doughnut in the rucks with Mumford, but tentative to trade because I’m already down to 20 left. Also may be copping one in the forwards with Dickson, Kennedy and Hall not named this week.
Thumbs up, do the trade to avoid both doughnuts. Mumford —> Nic Nat and Dickson —-> Treolar
Thumbs down, don’t worry about it the ruck doughnut. Just go Dickson —> Treolar
