  2. Ah Ch7, your inept reporting is getting worse.

Of 8 games left in the round you gave us half the teams, plus you didn’t show any footage of the Australian test cricket team. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Goldstein dropped. That’s a pretty big call from Brad Scott. He was almost AA last year and has the most hitouts of anyone in VFL/AFL history.

  5. Fml no redden, kennedy, c.smith, hall, sandilands… Really hope none of my fwds are a late withdrawal coz i hae no cover

  6. 20 trades left, already used one this round. I originally wanted to be conservative with trades but my damn trade obsessed finger is telling me otherwise.

Have the money to go Hall- Michael Johnson/ Luke Dahlhause?

    Thumbs up- Do it
    Thumbs down- Save the trades

  7. another week, another set of disasters has stuck,,,,3 of my rookie forwards are out….kennedy, a hall and dickson.

chuck in the big o being an emergency and then the injuries to heath shaw and of course gazza.

could have so many donuts that I’ll have homer simpson knocking on my door.

cmon karma….i dare you to do worse!

  8. Mmmmmm…..Kyal Horsley.

Welcome back Birch and Goodesy. I’m sure you can cover GAJ’s absence 😆

I would also like to welcome Jack Anthony into the shit footballers to somehow manage to play 50 games club. Keep that unjustified head wobble going young fella.

  9. Mumford’s got to go..
Problem is, with Sandi out, there’s no real replacement that fixes the problem now. All the other ruck options present too big a risk to justify a trade.
I’m thinking of downgrading Mummy to a rookie (possibly Orren) this week, and then upgrading one of my midfield rookies (Wingard?) to a midfield premium.

This will leave me with around 160 K in the bank, and will buy me time regarding the extent of 211’s situation, and allow me to assess the ruck situation. With the cash left over, i’m predicting I’ll be able to do swap Giles to 211 (or any other ruckmen) within the next 2-3 weeks.

    Thoughts?

  10. So many outs.
Think its worth trading Wingard for Treolar? Only going to make 10,000 off him tho. Seems like a waste.

  11. thinkning about getting treloar from gws before his price rockets after this round. thinking of either trading, hall or kennedy. (both dropped this week)

    thumbs up – hall
    thumbs down – kennedy

  12. Why does this thread have a mobile theme when I’m using my desktop computer? And why can’t I turn the mobile theme off??

  13. Hey guys. Is it just me or are there more changes so far this year compared to others. And I have sandi mummy redden and Giles for rucks. Only 21 trades left. Should I trade or play with one less

  14. Wowie! Talk about carnage this week for the Phat Side! GAJ, Carrots, Mohr, Dempsey, Shaw (traded for Treloar before the partial lockout), and AKennedy all out. Will have to use Smedts as my D7. Hope he doesn’t get the vest.

I’ll be doing a Ledger >> Duffield trade using Carrots as the swingman into the mids. That give’s me a full team (for now) with Smedts the only real worry at possibly getting the vest. Are you listening RB??

Then next week, it’s a smooth Carrots >> Pendles trade (unless of course the carnage continues).

  15. Do the Giants share the green vest around? Currently toying with the idea of trading Wingard for Treloar since his sub-affected score last week will probably see him lose more money this week. I already have 5 Giants in my team (1 def, 1 mid, 1 ruck and 2 fwd) and am starting to think that 6 might be asking for trouble once they start being rested and/or vested.

Trade or not to trade? That is the question! 🙂

  16. Havnt used any trades thus far. Trade out fyfe due to the risk for a mid premium?
    Thumbs up- trade
    Thumbs down – don’t bother

  17. Does anyone know what the deal is with Dempsey? I have a whole bunch of rookies on field this week and I have the money to upgrade him to a premium but I was hoping to save it for pendles next week.

  18. Does anyone with any inside knowledge of whether Hale is 100% or if the reported finger is troubling him?. I know his score last week was due to being subbed through concussion, however did it look like his finger was affecting him during game or during training this week?

Brings the question of whether to start with Hale or Giles
    Thumbs Up: Hale
    Thumbs Down: Giles

  19. Has anyone noticed the BE difference from Supercoach Gold to the other SC sites? Main point, Ablett. SC Gold BE 107, several other sites BE 121. Little difference but could be huge.

  20. Only got 1 bench player playing this week, what is going on??? 🙁 hopefully no one pulls out last minute

  21. Rucking rucks everybody’s been divided about going with the 2-0-2 format or the 1-0-3 format since pre-season, well going on from this weeks outs I reckon you’re Rucked either way 😡

  22. To trade Tim Mohr for someone, $470k in the the bank with Mohr or get a 0 in the back line is the question? 19 trades left
    Thumbs up trade

  23. thought i was going well with swan captain.
shaw, carrazzo, sandi (traded mummy for him last week) hall, kennedy, c.smith, big o, redden.
Thankfully smedts and fyfe are back but will still be getting a 0 in the rucks.
Trades: hall to treloar, carrazzo to duffield

  24. Anyone know anything about Tim Mohrs injury?

I’m really thinking about trading him to Josh Drummond.

  25. Bloody sandi out, redden out and big o an emergency… I may be copping a doughnut in my ruck divisions this week!

On the captaincy loophole, I have swan as my VC, Ablett as my captain on the ground and McDonald as my mid emergency…will he come on and be captain? Or will he come on as a mid and the captaincy go to swan??

  26. Hey All,
First post this year, struggling with decisions.
    I’m thinking:
Treloar in for Clay Smith (Or Wingard or Colignio – not convinced of their scoring/earning power).
then move AKennedy to the mids and trade him out for SMurph (or potentially JMac, and Smurph in coming rounds.

    Its a pickle!
Anyone care to discuss the value of CSmith over Wingard/Coniglia, or any part of my trade?

  27. LOEC1. Omen Blues (6th) up against the bottom of the ladder Reach Arounds who slotted in Pendles with the VC loophole. Can’t believe how similar our teams are otherwise with only 4 PODs this week. Need Selwood to smash the Big C to have any chance.

    Omen v Reach Arounds
    Selwood C v Pendlebury (280)
    Smedts v D Smith
    Lewis v Fyfe
    Porplyzia v Coniglio

Will Omen stay in the Top 8?

  31. Hrm… SCTTL. One I’m considering.

D/G: Mumford to Mullet aka Ivan Maric (breakeven of 34)
U/G: Coniglio to Hayes (breakeven of 66)

Makes the midfield: Murphy, Selwood, Pendlebury, Hayes, Magner, Shiel, GAJ (bench of course), A. Kennedy.

    Or: Mumford to NicNat.
Or: Mumford to Kreuzer & laugh all the way to the bank.

  32. Going by the ins and outs…….I am screwed. Mohr, Shaw, Dempsey, GAJ, Sandi, Redden, Big O, Kennedy and Hall =at least 2 donuts unless trades used. I am not using any trades this week as I hope that short term pain equals long term gain still applies in this screw up of a team. Chalk up a win for whoever is playing me this week. 🙁

  34. Been staring at my team for the last half an hour. Cannot find a way to avoid a donut in the forward line unless I downgrade either Kennedy/Hall to Smedts.

Will trade Ledger > Treloar and swing Treloar forward to cover 1 donut.

Feels too early to make the move on Kennedy or Hall yet.
Just cop the 3rd donut of the season? (3 Already!!??)

Now is the time we realise how much of a luxury 3 men on the bench was!

  35. Dickson for Jmac is a no brainer.

    2nd trade is a bit more tricky…Do I –

T/U – Keep Gaz on my bench and hope my 3 playing rooks(out of Magner, Sheil, Greene or Jmac) score OK. 3 premos avg – 120, 3 rooks avg – 80 =600

T/D – Trade Gaz for anyone, take the premo points and only have 2 of those rooks playing. 4 premos avg – 120, 2 rook avg – 80=640

Do you think it is worth burning 2 trades for 40-odd points extra a week while Gaz has a little rest?

  36. BroUghton to Dempsey. Shaw to carazzo. Mumford to sandilands. Then bought in Gaj last week. Suffice to say I’ve burnt 2 trades every week. At this rate I be spent by rd 12

  38. Will Smedts get regular games? I’m toying with the idea of trading Smedts to Treloar

Thumbs up – Don’t do it Smedts is playing this week
Thumbs down – Can’t miss Treloar, DO IT

  40. Deciding on my captains this week. Should I play it safe by the water and leave Marc Murphy? Or take a punt on Boyd racking it up against an inexperienced GWS side?

    Opinions would be great, thanks

  41. Just got a sneaky suspicion that Aaron Hall will play this week. Was surprised to see Rischetelli and Swallow named in the teams, and I’m hoping one of them will be a late exclusion for Hall.

  42. As Yiorgakis spotted i am staring a forward doughnut thanks to the omissions of Kennedy and Hall plus the general spudness of Dickson.

Umming and ahhing about what to do. Have a little cash up my sleeve but not enough that i can do something meaningful with a Dickson trade. Not overly keen on trading Kennedy or Hall as i think they’l be rotated back into the team shortly. Dickson is wasting space though. Pfieffer is an option as i wanted him pre-season but ditched him when he wasn’t named Rnd 1, but he’s last listed of a seven man extended bench. Don’t know if he’ll make the team at Port this arvo.

Really feel perplexed as to what options there are on this one.

Do i cross my fingers and hope and hope that Hall gets a game as a late withdrawal?

Thumbs up: find something, anything, to avoid the doughnut
Thumbs down: cop the doughnut, 1 trade is more important than 50pts (and hope that Hall gets a game)

  43. With the GAJ out injured (**shakes fist at God**), I’m in a dilemma as to who to put as el capitano this week. Need some help:

Boyd will get leather poisoning against GWS (Thumbs up)
    or
Joelwood will duck his way past Raines and smash it (Thumbs down)

    Cheers

  49. Copping a doughnut in the rucks with Mumford, but tentative to trade because I’m already down to 20 left. Also may be copping one in the forwards with Dickson, Kennedy and Hall not named this week.
Thumbs up, do the trade to avoid both doughnuts. Mumford —> Nic Nat and Dickson —-> Treolar
Thumbs down, don’t worry about it the ruck doughnut. Just go Dickson —> Treolar

Comment for not doing either… 🙁
