  1. A little dilema here

Thumbs up – bring sidey in this week because of low b\e and price heading north.

Thubs down – bring pendles in this week, hea must have.

If I bring pendles in this week sidey will come in next week and if I bring sidey in this week pendles will come in next as I have the cash 😉

  4. 5aa jus interviewed Shaun Rehn here in Adelaide, and he said that Renouf has been given 1 more wk. he said Redden is banging the door down for selection and that they couldnt go into the game with 2 rucks cos they’d be too tall. they have basically conceeded Redden is a better ruck. lets hope Renouf has a shocker this wk.

  6. The GWS outs hurt

Was relying on some cash this week to bring Gaz back in

Ah well, Gaz will just have to score 80 then

  7. The only GWS players that are outs for me are Kennedy and Bugg but luckily have cover. Good to see Big O come back and hopefully get me some cash or be good bench cover. Redden named as emergency but looks to be pushing for selection soon. Great to see adcock come back in after injury. Got a feeling I’m in for a big score this week…. 🙂

Im thinking of doing this trade this week, i think its good but wondering what you guys think

    In: Birchall and Stanton
    Out: Ellis and Goodes

    Leaves 42K in the bank

    Thumbs up- Good trade
Thumbs down- Bad trade (any suggestions?)

    Cheers guys 🙂

  11. Did Tommy Couch bang Mark Neelds wife?

Averages 20+ possies in the VFL and still can’t get a crack at AFL level….for a team that cant win a game.
It’s the only explanation I can think of.

  14. Another poll…

Thumbs up, D Smith out, Sidebottom in.

Thumbs down, A Kennedy out, Zaharakis in.

Kennedy being out with a “shoulder” makes Crabstick a nervous little boy, but I would love to have Sidearse in the team…

  15. Thumbs up – trade Bugg to Spurr

Thumbs down – trade Ellis to Spurr

  16. A little off topic but think it may come in handy when deciding on possible trades this week.
Anyone recall a post containing a link to a nifty little ‘app’ that, once clicked while in team view, would indicate the bye round for that player?

  17. Buntine could be the next down grade do you think he’ll get a game this week.
Who on GWS’s extended bench will be cut? Taylor Adams surely not…

  18. Hey guys,
I have 15 trades and $790,800 in the bank.
I’m definitely thinking Bugg -> Shaw
I am also thinking of upgrading Porps for Zaha/Pav/Beames/Danger
Will then ‘try’ and hold off for a couple of weeks. Or should i just hold Porps for now and save the trade?
T/U Make the 2 (if yes would love to have thoughts of which forward premium to get out of the people mentioned above)
T/D Hold Porps, just make the 1 trade
    Thanks 🙂

  19. Good to see Sam Darley getting a go! Let’s hope he can continue his pre-season form and he will be a nice pick-up…

Anyway, I was hoping to keep Bugg till I had 7 premium defenderc but now with his bad form and getting dropped I’m not sure. The question is, will he come back in next week, and if he does will he be fresh and back to his best?!

Thumbs up – Yep, he will be back to 80+ scores
Thumbs down – Nah, he’s hit his peak, trade him out

    0

  20. Ok so im in two minds.. One trade I’ve set in concrete, and im happy with it. For the second, I have a total of $450,000 spending money. I either trade out Coniglio for Judd to make up a midfield of; J.Kennedy, Boyd, Pendles, Mitchell, Selwood and Judd. Orrrr… I play Coniglio, and trade out Homsch in def for a defender because Bugg is NOT playing.. If i do the judd deal i will be going in to Round 8, one defensive man DOWN.. Comments?

  21. Not sure if I have seen a poll of this but was wondering who you guys would choose out of Stanton and Watson. Both in great form.

    Thumbs Up – Stanton

    Thumbs Down – Watson

  22. Adam Kennedy – it’s time to leave the building.
    Leaves me $479,300
    Choice of 2;

    Stevie J – thumbs up
    Clancee Pearce – thumbs down

Open to suggestions as well though.

  23. What are peoples thoughts on Jed Adock this year?
Seems a bit of risk but very cheap at 430,000 and could be a good upgrade for Bugg

  24. can anyone see something wrong with these trades?
    Bugg-> Spurr. Shiel->Zorko(DPP)

    next week.

Conigs -> Dal Santo. Milera ->Danger or Zaharakis.

  25. $785,800 in bank & 18 trades left. Looking at trading out Bugg & A.Hall for either: (votes & comments appreciated)

    Thumbs UP: C.Newman & Sidebottom ($282,500 left)

    Thumbs DOWN: C.Newman & Saad ($705,800 left)

Either way plan to get:- NDS next week @ $480K (trade out Magner?), Marc Murphy round 9 or 10 (for Greene or Coniglia) & Priddis Rnd 12? (Horsely or remaining GWS man)

  34. FWIW i suggest people consider not trading out Ellis this week just because he will bleed $ over the next two weeks with last week’s sub-affected score.
Sure if it fits with your strategy go for it but he and Morris have the Rd 13 bye therefore wlll be great value to minimising doughnuts in Rds 11/12 and can then be up/downgraded prior to their bye with players who have already had theirs.
As we found with Devon Smith, a low sub-affected score is only two good games away from significant appreciation, particularly when you can carry them on the bench without impacting on your score.

Food for thought opposing the popular convention?

  35. I’m about to trade in Zaharakis for Porps but I notice he has moved to forward in this week lineup instead of Mids where he’s been scoring tons for the past few weeks. He didn’t score that well and didn’t get much possesions when started as forward in round 2-4.

I haven’t really watch any Bombers game so would be very keen in getting some insight.

t.up: do the trades and stop worrying too much
t.down: hold as chances he might get lower score this week.

  37. Roo Bloke and other North fans

Am looking at an upgrade to a Rd 11 bye FWD/MID DPP this week and rather going the popular Dangerfield route was looking at Harvey as a POD given his price and record.
I’m aware of his propensity to struggle with the hard tag but 4 poor scores in a row now make me feel uneasy.
Any recommendation that he can return to a 100 average?

  43. Who should I make captain this weekend? Pendles or J.Kennedy?
Sydney are playing melbourne.. but Kennedy might be tagged by McKenzie.. My opponent will probably have Pendles as captain. Comments?

    0

    0
  44. from the two i’d take kennedy.. could be massive against the dees!

    not sure of my own I have J.Kennedy – Pendles – Murph – J.Selwood – G.Ablett..

All could have monster games.. all for different reasons wether its an easy draw for the week or to make up for previous weeks..

  45. Ellis got a sub effected 2pts last week. I may need to play one of Morris and Ellis. Thinking that i should go Ellis as he’s less likely to get the vest for a 2nd week in a row. Thoughts?

    T/up – great idea
    T/down – crazy logic

  46. Would love to upgrade Bugg this week but all i can reach on a trade in is mid 450K’s. Duffield and Johnson are the best i can get. Not double trading this week so i’ll old my powder dry for another week.
