So do we reckon Moon Dog has actually done his knee or is he jus finished?
Harris and toy hurt
Pedersen out again lol.
Man when is Polec coming back????
No Sizzle or Higgins, interesting.
Yep, Harris out makes things interesting. Good news with Jacobs and I.Smith.
Please guys, opinion.
Sylvia or Pav in for Roo?
Pav has a high B/E?
I know the poll earlier this week showed Heath Shaw as the best option to bring in for Grimes. But I still am leaning towards Adcock…whats peoples thoughts and reasoning on why Shaw is the better option?
Is anyone picking up Jacobs this week?
Was thinking Boak-> I. Smith [To also add flexibility].
and Grimes-> Shaw perhaps? not too sure. Comments would be great.
Hey guys,
Grimes- Shaw
Curnow- Pendles
good trades? Give the green light if yes 🙂
cheers
who do i trade higgins out for
judd wait till next week
mundy
pendles
gazza
priddis
boyd
watson
chapman
who would you pick out of these?
Who do we like in the derby boys?
THUMBS UP- Fremantle
THUMBS DOWN- West Coast
CYRIL INST PLAYING? WHAT!
Hey Michael how bout grimes to Jacobs for flexibilty and boak for the biggest cahuna swan, boydd or mundy.
These guys are all fighting for the same spot on field this week (I know it seems wierd, but it’s true.) Who do you think should get a run?
– A.Krakouer
– R.Bewick
– D.Stanley
– L.Tapscott
– J.Darling
– B.Matera
Told you all that Pederson’s JS was pretty poor. North’s strength over most clubs is our group of talls (be it defenders, forwards or rucks) and Pederson is way down the pecking order at North in the talls.
With LRT named, I think it’ll free up Grundy a touch more, and make him an attacking weapon.
Grimes —–> Grundy
Curnow —–> Boyd.
with 192,000 in the bank, and currently 2 0’s (grimes/curnow… unless liba plays) what do i do??
thumbs up – grimes –> jacobs, curnow –> mundy -(heater in next week)
thumbs down – grimes –> shaw, stanley –> jacobs, then pray/ wait until tomorrow to see if libas playing? – (mundy in next week)
Thinking
Grimes, Harris ———–> Gilbert and Jacobs
Was going to do the Harris trade regardless next week as to not have so many GC players on the pine in round 9
have to play krakouer and matera this week because of higgins and rioli. disgraceful…..
Did trengove get off? He’s named on the ball
Failed. Out for 3!
Anyone remember this time of year 2009? Ryan O’Keefe hit 10 consecutive tons from round 7 to round 16, averaging a massive 134 in that time! He scored a 125 in Round 7 last week… Just sealed the deal on this week’s trades:
Grimes > Shaw
Curnow > O’Keefe
krakouer or liberatore to start this rd?
both named on bench, and not sure if krakouer will be sub, or if libba will actually be named.
thoughts?
thanks mate, didnt think of that
have got 1 position left b/w 4 players, cant decide. anythoughts
Zaharakis
Libba
I. Smith
Tapscott
what does everyone think of my team going into this week 🙂
Will be 1 player short 🙁

Worth putting Ben Jacobs on the field first up over Thompson or Lower?
higgins and cyril u two are fukn pathetic and i mean fukin PATHETIC!!!! Bothe of u need to go to the hardware store and buy a 20kg bag of cement and HARDIN THE FUK UP!!!!!!!!
Thompson thumbs up
Mckernan thumbs down
For my def 7
R8 Trades are gong to be
Grimes —> Fisher
Pittard –> Jacobs
Plus pocketed $100k for Curnow’s upgrade in the coming weeks.
hard week didn’t have enough backs 2 short this week so
grimes > heath shaw
robbie tarrant > lower
thoughts?
I am just going a straight trade grimes for shaw as lots of people are going this week 🙂
Had enough of higgins and need some coin so thinking of downgrading him to smith and then playing tapscott in his place. With the 320k I will upgrade curnow to either watson or dal and then the following week Grimes to Enright.
Dont like downgrading a ‘premium’ but I get the feeling higgins will give us continuous grief all year.
Good call?
pittard —–> smith
grimes —-> adcock
bank the rest of the money $$$$
okay, iv done what everyone seems to be either suggesting or doing this week, im a sheep, i dont care.
grimes to jacobs
curnow to mundy
pretty happy with my structure. iv got all the premiums everyone seems to have a mix of.
swan, watson, mundy, goodes, higgins, pavlich, buddy, roo, godd, adco, deledio, gibbs, sandi, cox.
NOW MY QUESTION
stevie j,, been last minute dropped a couple of times in the side. i have him also… and this week, he is brought back in at centre half forward in the teams for tomorrow night.
BUT
he doesnt have a green bubble next to his name on the supercoach site…
im scared.. thoughts?
Going with a flexibility change this week.
Hoping Jacob’s job security holds up as I’ll go with him to replace Grimes to hopefully free up some DPP’s in my backline which.
Also looking to trade and an obvious one for me will be to move Curnow on for Deledio for the reasons stated above.
I have heaps of flexibility at the other end (and will have even more next week when Smith hopefully solidifies his position this weekend) but after that it’s all in preparation for post round 13 and the Swan trade! Saving my pennies for that one 🙂
Morning all,
Need some advice for this weeks trading (if any). I have Grimes and Duigan on the pine. The only downgrade I see for Duigan is Jacobs. (I have Puopolo already). I only have $29k in the kitty.
I did however like the thought of bringing Jacobs into the mids to open up MPP. Swallow, Libba, Atley etc arent ready yet for milking though.
Do I………
1.) Trade Duigan for Jacobs and upgrade Grimes to Shaw/Enright/Fisher this week and loose possible MPP with the mids (unless Hibberd gets a run soon of course)
2.) Dont trade this week and bring Jacobs into the mids for Swallow next week which opens up MPP and then trade up Grimes
Thumbs up for option 1
Thumbs down for option 2
(or any other suggestions welcome)
thanks all and good luck this weekend.
Dont trade duigan yet, let him play another game, his BE is around 40 odd so he should make a few extra $$ for you in his next game.
Also, Jacobs hasnt even played yet, wait to see how we goes.
Hibberd will get games but I think it will be on-off.
Hopefully he plays a blinder in the VFL this week and forces hirdy’s hand 🙂
Swallow still has some fattening to do aswell, he wont peak for a few weeks, there bye next week is a bitch but he’ll keep making money when they come back.
made a decision today that i’m going to add Shaun Higgins to my ‘NEVER going to select due to injury risk’ list
that list is now two people … Higgins & Chappy
Any Hawks out there know what I Smith’s job security is like?
Is he in the 22 because of form (green tick) or is he filling in for someone injured (red tick)?
I am considering a swap from Curnow to Kerr. Have I lost the plot or does that move have merit?
No going to get a chance to make trades after 5 so now is the time.
Just went in and was about 1mm off pressing the trade in button for Lewis Johnston instead of Alex Johnson.
Minor catastrophe averted.
He’ll probably turn out to be a massive POD young gun and rip it up when he takes Alex Johnson’s spot next week.
Still trying to decide on Lids or Shaw. Thinking Lids because he doesn’t play for collingwood.
ive decided, im going :
otten—> jacobs
grimes—> shaw or adcock, lucky dip
Hi guys i need some help with my team ive been hit hard by injuries and not sure which way to go i was thinkin Otten>Jacobs and then
Grimes>Adcock im trying to avoid geeting dougnuts but i think that might be hard to avoid considering Puopolo and Liba are only in the squads atm i have$8,400 in the bank if anyone has any better solution let me know…. Cheers
My team is:
Backs- Heppell,Goddard,J,Grimes,Shaw,Duffield,L,Thompson,Puopolo

Bench-Smith,Spencer
Forw-Pav,Franklin,Goodes,Tapscott,Darling,A,Krakour,I,Smith
Bench-Rioli,T,Walker,C,Richardson
Libba to come in for Wallis.
Ok im thinkin maybe otten>Jacobs or B,Retzlaff and then Curnow>Gibbs and that way i wont get a dougnut in the mids and ill trade out Grimes nextweek Thumbs up goodmove thumbs down dont do it any other suggestions would be good
Gday Boys,
Got my team pretty close to where I need it to be, saving enough trades for the finals still.
Looking at one trade only this week, mainly for flexibility as a DPP Forward / Midfielder.
I have enough coin in my bank to grab whoever I like really.
Whats everyones thoughts on the following players to bring in…
Ryan O’Keefe (Sydney have a nice run in the next 4 – 5 Weeks)
Alan Didak (Quite cheap at the moment, no byes late in the year)
Jared Brennan (Go to player at the GCS)
Colin Sylvia (Inconsistency is my only worry)
Nathan Fyfe (speaks for himself)
Not putting Chappy or Brent Harvey as options due to byes in the final 4 weeks.
Poo’s plaiyng, yes no duckegg in the backline.
Just did my trades i went Otten>Jacobs and Curnow>ROK poo and libbas playin and ill trade out grimes next week so no doughnuts for me
is anyone trading out curnow this week? i think libba might get to his price of 320k-ish.
Rob Murphy in for Grimes???????
Cant argue with his numbers…
smith in for curnow, grimes out for adcock, leaves me with 200-250k to play with. really want ben jacobs in me mids for def/mid flexibility. if harris isnt named next week i might go jacobs in for harris… thoughts?
anyone no who the subs are yet?
LOVE IT HOW DIGITAL TV DOESNT WORK AT MY PLACE AND I CAN’T GET ANALOG ANYMORE. YAY GOVERNMENT.
Good news for me im not the sub ill score 120 tonight

Also saw on afl.com.au that clarko says rioli will now play forward because of his hammy – how much will this affect his scoring?
