Who has greater job security out of Mahoney (T/U) or Xerri (T/D)
Xerri was likely only brought in last week to try and combat the Hawks super tall defence. Woudn’t be at all surprised if he was straight out this week.

What’s Simpkin’s role like at North? Obviously he’s getting quite a lot of midfield time due to his big scores but North always seem to have at least one midfield gun injured or out. When Zieball and Cunnington get back to fit is Simpkin likely to be relegated further forward or will someone else move instead?
I’m just trying to figure out if he’s likely to maintain his high scores and is a forward line lock or if he’ll drop off if moved forward.

IMO I think he’s fairly settled in the midfield & will not go anywhere with Cunnington back in, the guys a hard ball get type of player he had 50% of possessions contested, 7 clearances & 6 tackles to score 120.
I personally have him to finish in the top 6 fwds easily, but I have him in my side & this is only my opinion.

What a shambles. I’m looking at 4 playing defenders before making any trades. I have 80k in cash, so would only be able to bring in rookies (maybe Kolodjashni (spelling ?) if I cull a cow a bit early).
I have a 102k F/D rookie loophole as well as ZGuthrie and BZT (I did not make any trades prior to round 2). The plan this week was to bring in Butler (DEF) and Serong (MID). With Butler omitted, I probably have to bring in Hill, even though I don’t trust his injury history (would have gone Williamson if I had known Butler was out) – unless there’s another DEF rookie I’m missing.
