Written by Motts on August 28 2012

Its a big list because I’m including all the M/F DPP’s in the Forwards section. With your 3 votes, pick out who your favourite Forwards were in 2012.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. Danger and sidebum have been consistant all year, but my picks go to Dayne Beams, who I picked up in about rd 6 or 7, only because he was all I could afford at the time. Couldn’t be happier with what he’s produced since.

Taylor Walker gets my second vote. He’s quite bit of a unique pick, but with Adelaide’s reasonably easy draw, especially in sc finals, he’s offered great value since coming into my team. 154 in last weeks prelim and he plays gold coast this week in the sc granny.

And last but not least is Dayne Zorko. He averages a tad over 101, including a very small sub-affected score early on. 163 last week in a prelim final is more than you could have ever hoped for in a first-year rooke.

  2. Dangerfield, Beams and Zorko got my three votes. For massively exceeding my expectations. In contrast to massive disappointments from more established SC players such as Cloke and to a lessor extent Goodes.

  3. Welcome aboard my Never-Again List.. Paul Chapman.

I said to myself at the start of the year that I wouldn’t pick you, but I fell for it again!!

Also, you better play a blinder this week Goodes otherwise you are going on that list too!

  4. Dangerfield and Zorko were my first 2 picked. The 3rd vote went to Jordan Lewis who other than going missing for a stretch in the middle of the year has produced 10 90+ scores since I brought him in in R5. If I had a 4th vote it would’ve gone to Treloar who’s been magnificent lately.

  5. Dangerfield, Zorko and Ryan O’Keefe get my votes.

Rhino’ has been immense since I brought him in, and an 159 in the prelim final earned him my vote.

  6. Beams and Danger outstanding , BUT big big wrap for Jordon Lewis , I picked him up when Fyfe went down and hasn’t disappointed , doesn’t get huge numbers but rock solid week in week out , as a POD helped me make 3 SC GF’s this WE , absolutely amazed that all season I seemed to be to only coach with Lewis ALL season through 5 leagues , WOW. Other coaches loss , and my gain 🙂
