Trade Or Hold – Rd20 #1

Written by Schwarzwalder on July 30 2018

Brilliant at his best but wildly erratic in Supercoach output, Jordan De Goey will be a star of the future if he can stay on the park.  After a season-best 147 against the Kangas last week, De Goey was found to have a bone stress injury in his lower leg and missed the blockbuster game against the Tigers.  In all probability he’ll also miss against Sydney.

It’s Supercoach Finals time and we need all hands on deck.  What would you do if you had Jordan De Goey?

What to do with Jordan De Goey (COL)?

  1. I will be watching this one closely.

Ahern filled in brilliantly last week top scoring in my forward line.

Can he do it again this weekend v Brisbane?

  2. I have DeGoey and I say trade – except that I only have one trade left!

It means i will have Billings, Fritsch & Ahern on frild but at lease they play GC, WB and Brisbane

Therefore I will be holding as I have finished top 4 in all my leagues bar one. Then next week I will make a decision based on any injuries this round etc.

I also think Ahern will be loopholed a lot as he plays in the early Saturday game.

  3. I’d trade if I had him and two trades+ and I NEEDED to win in a cash league game this week. Otherwise I’d probably hold and use him to loophole others.

  4. I’m hearing news that his injuries may be worse than first thought. Meaning it may be 4 to 6 weeks which is the rest of the season so I would trade if those rumours are true

      1. ‘Collingwood star Jordan De Goey’s leg injury could be much worse than first reported and is likely to keep the young star out for the rest of the AFL season, according to former Essendon captain Tim Watson.’
