Trade or Hold – Round 19

Written by Hot Sauce on July 26 2019

Rookies

Hold:

Will Setterfield – Fwd/Mid – $324,500 – AVG: 59.7 – BE: 64

Definitely trade-worthy but his DPP status is very handy at the minute. Depending on the situation, it’s hold or trade.

Noah Answerth – Def/Mid – $285,500 – AVG: 56.7 – BE: 56

Just like Setterfield, Answerth’s worth comes in his DPP and a stable price point. Same reasons as above to why I’m holding.

Sam Walsh – Mid – $434,800 – AVG: 89.2 – BE: 78

The kid continues to perform and for that reason deserves to remain in all teams, unless you are still a premium short in the middle.

Griffin Logue – Def – $277,300 – AVG: 73.6 – BE: 61

Remains in the team, so he should remain in yours.

Dylan Clarke – Mid – $297,200 – AVG: 72.4 – BE: 23

He continues to score well and has plenty of more cash to make for his owners. A solid emergency option for those holding an injured premium.

Nick Hind – Mid – $218,500 – AVG: 53.7 – BE: 46

Still has a decent breakeven that could see him increase further in price.

Reilly O’Brien – Ruc – $515,200 – AVG: 98.2 – BE: 87

Well done to those who held him last week, a huge score and an opportunity to increase further in price.

Michael Gibbons – Mid – $310,400 – AVG: 58.8 – BE: 20

Gibbons continues to make money, so unless you need the cash, hold onto him.

Chris Burgess – Def/Fwd – $209,600 – AVG: 43.2 – BE: 0

Finally he looks set to make some decent cash, not sure if anyone would actually own him this

Corey Wagner – Mid/Fwd – $212,200 – AVG: 54.8 – BE: 16

Low BE equals cash to earn. Continue to hold.

Isaac Quaynor – Def – $196,700 – AVG: 63.0 – BE: 11

Continues to get games so will continue to make money. Hopefully a breakout game is just around the corner.

Trade:

Sydney Stack – Mid – $439,800 – AVG: 82.2 – BE: 119

Unfortunately, Stack’s time has come. If you have him you’re likely to be needing your M8 premium. Now’s the time.

Bailey Smith – Mid – $377,800 – AVG: 73.2 – BE: 105

Another exceptional talent whose time has arrived. Jump on that premium upgrade.

Jordan Clark – Def – $321,100 – AVG: 59.9 – BE: 89

Has lasted a while but has now his time has come.

Nick Larkey – Fwd – $273,700 – AVG: 57.3 – BE: 74

Nothing urgent but upgrade if no other pressing trades needed.

Callum Wilkie – Def – $365,000 – AVG: 69.8 – BE: 76

Just like Larkey, is trade worthy but even less urgent than Larkey.

Zak Butters – Mid/Fwd – $313,300 – AVG: 62.7 – BE: 67

Even less urgent than the two above, but trade if needed.

Good luck coaches!

  1. I’m sure there is a rule about “not trading” in Father D’s list.

Wish I’d kept Setterfield and Wilke. Be handy on my bench right now.

Listened to a podcast recently and he used the phrase “Action Biased”. Human’s like to ‘fix’ things, instead of letting them grow.

  2. still running ROB R2 comes up against a ruckless blues BE of 85.
Grundy a BE of 125 against a ruckless tigers. scared he will go 200+

6 trades remaining to make the trade it’d cost 2 trades to fund it
