  1. Hi guys. Does th emergency loophole still work during the byes? I.e can I bring Dangerfield onto, the field for Treloar and make Treloar emergency and still get his score?

I want to take my vc score.

  2. SPP has been handy but planning to move him on for Tom Lynch next week. Just need to find $100k for the upgrade

    1. I’m moving spp to nank hopefully need about 140000 at this stage. Would have had the cash for it but had to trade sandi to Ryder to remain competitive in this weeks league match

      3
        1. By remain competitive I mean Iv gone from loosing to possibly winning. The extra 30 pts Ryder scored over Steele will come in handy

    1. It’s annoying as hell, but still a luxury option. Only if you have a full team already and plenty of trades in hand (more than 12), otherwise I’d hold until all lines are complete.

    2. He was great early (66 to the half) until he tried to take a hanger off Rocky and landed awkwardly. Then seemed very ginger for the last half.

As Schwartz said, luxury trade. Maybe a week off is all he needs to come up fresh and come back the way he started the season where he went 114.2 over the first 5.

      1. Definitely looks like a week off will do him good, I’m going to try and work a trade of Fyfe to Ablett next week. Got a full team and 11 trades left.

  3. Sandilands to Strnadica and Taranto to Macrae is locked in.

Unsure whether to trade SPP to one of Dusty/Rockliff/Ablett for the M8 spot or Myers to E Yeo/ I Heeney for the F6 spot.

Current midfield: Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Selwood, Bontempelii, Kennedy, Fyfe, Priddis, Barrett, (SPP, Myers, Cousins)
Forward line inc Macrae trade: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Franklin, T Lynch (GC), J Steele, H Greenwood, ( J Parsons, S Bolton)

    TU: SPP to Rocky/Dusty/ Ablett
    TD: Myers to E Yeo/ I Heeney

  4. I actually need to trade out half of my team. 11 played including 5 guns and none cracked the ton.
    Kelly 98, Rocky 92, Franklin 95, Ryder 81, Wines 81, SPP 60, Montagna 76, SPP 60, Steele 53, C.Dixon 41…. How can I even have a chance?
Honestly I dont even know where to start. I need 3 out for next round.
TU: I may start with SPP, Steele and Wines.
    TD: Montagna, SPP, Steele
    Please comment otherwise

    1. This is one of the best rage trade posts ever, haha.

Depends what your $ situation is like…but in both situations I’d only consider cutting ties with SPP.

The others may be a bit iffy…but they are still luxury trades at this point (dependent on ‘trades remaining’).

All the dudes you mentioned should play next week and they have decent averages.

If the trend of poor scores continues after the byes then you might want to consider using some luxury trades. For the final bye week however, have to hold everybody…except for SPP. Do with him as you wish at this point. He has done his job for us amazingly so anytime now is an okay time to move him on.

Keep some of those veteran and high upside bodies on the field for one more week!

      Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Thanks buddy. I have only 10 trades left and $162.300 in the bank. I thought I was just 3 trades away from a complete team…. Lets get SPP out and give the rest few weeks. I was 399th general…looks like a free fall now

  5. Trades planned for next week as it stands are;
    Out: Fyfe, Mcgrath, Myers
    In: Bont, Lloyd, rookie

I have about 15 on the field next week so i need to bring in some players and i am sick of Fyfe. Has scored 1 100 in the last 7 games and i am shoveling him on.

It could be a few choices i bring in but he seemed like a cheap option has he has dropped in price but he hasn’t played well either which is a small concern.

I do have the option of JJK as well so it will depend on his injury on whether i cull Fyfe from the team

    7

    13
  6. Myers – Ryan (yes it doesn’t help my playing players however i should have 18 anyway and need to get $$$ somehow)

    WHE – Yeo

and im unsure if i should pull the trigger on newman – lloyd (will likely be done unless i cant field 18. In that case possibily Sandi -Buddy via nank however thats unlikely. fingers cross no team carnage and 18 can be fielded)

    7

  7. Already have Lloyd, hanners and jpk
WHE to Heeney or is that to much swan players

    Fwd is Macrae,Dahlhaus, yeo,lynch,Nankervis

    t/u good trade
t/d too much swan players look for someone else

    29

    2
  8. Apart from Scott Selwood, whom I will upgrade to a recognized premium in round 14 (the arrangements for this are already in place), my team is complete, so I’m now able to look at luxury trades.

    Goodbye Fyfe, hello Dustin Martin.

    22

    12
      1. …unless Ryan gets dropped for round 14.

Except for if you’re trading out a player with a massive BE, I would wait a week on bringing in Ryan. He should stay in the team, but you just never know with FURL.

        10

        0
  9. OUT: Preuss, WHE
    IN: Strndica, Heeney

Will leave me with a full premo team & 20 fielded players in round 13

After these trades my starting 22 will look like:
Adams, Laird, Docherty, Hibberd, Tuohy, Newman
Dangerfield, Selwood, Titch, Bont, Murphy, Rockliff, Treloar, Fyfe
    Nankervis, Goldstein
Yeo, Heeney, Dahlhaus, JJK, Wallis, Steele

Will have 8 trades remaining and $100k that could be spent on luxury trades such as upgrading one of Newman, Murphy/Fyfe, Steele/Wallis. Would love to bring in Pendlebury or Martin into the Midfield as i see that as a bigger point differential than changing up the defensive/forward lines.

Overall rank of 159, hoping for a strong run home!

    22

    1
  10. 68 k in the bank, 14 trades remaining top 2.5k
Where would you improve first in this team.
    B. Doc,Laird, Adams, Hibberd, Tuohy,Newman (Melican, Stewart)5
    C.Danger, Gaj, Kelly,Oliver, Treloar,Fyfe, Wines, Ward, (S.Selwood SPP,Lloyd,)7.5
    R. Grundy Sandi (Strndica)?
    Fwd
Heeney, Dahlhaus, Wallis, Nankervis,Steele,Hannen, (Greenwood, Bolton,)4

The number next to the lines represent what I’d consider keepers, the .5 is Ward as a Luxury trade later in the season. Fwd line to me looks to have the most work needed but can I trust the likes of Buddy and Yeo from this point on. Rucks are a quandry , there’s no one that’s clearly above the pack and Sandi for those that dont have him may have him may be a value buy as he’s had his long awaited break.
I’m all set for the buys assuming no injuries next week.
What’s the first trade you’d make after the byes with this team?

    1

    1. SPP to a mid rookie should increase your remaining salary by 200,000 to around 270,000. This could be used to upgrade M Hannan to J Macrae.
Newman to L Ryan and T Stewart to J Lloyd in Round 14 will leave you with 200,000 left and 10 trades to upgrade the likes of Steele, Ward, Tuohy, etc if necessary or to bring in premiums to loophole with the aforementioned players.

        1. There are two types of people in the world:
          – Those with plenty of Rd13 players.
          – Those who are absolutely screwed.

Well done on being in the first!

          14

          0
  11. Out will be Otten and in will be Lloyd.
In will will be Scooter Selwood but not sure who to trade out.
    T/u WHE
    T/d Taranto
Shortage of downgrade targets leaves me with Swallow and SPP as well as the 2 above to trade out

    11

    1
  12. Planning no trades this week. Hopefully parson and bolton survive another week so I have 18 on field.

    3

    1. I suspect many will start jumping on Luke Ryan (FRE) or perhaps straight to a dirt-cheap non-playing DPP……

      4

      0
  13. my trade ideas are pretty similar so far this is the main difference i can come up with. Who would u rather?

    TU: Doc and Fisher

    TD: Hibberd and Barrett

    3

    15
    1. Obviously their scores will fluctuate but generally I’d assume something like this:

      Doc 115 + Fisher 45 = 150 points
      Hibberd 95 + Barrett 75 = 170 points

      2

      1
    1. BE 163.
Wait a week. Then straight swap with Newman (Actually going to make 20k from that trade!) or Stewart + 130k to Lloyd

      8

      1
    1. Literally no options this week on the bubble. Ryan (FRE), Brown (COLL) and Beech (ADE) over the next couple weeks.

      9

      1
  14. H Shaw –> Dusty via DPP

If I do this then I get 18 scoring players on field (cf 17 if I don’t).

    Is this too shortsighted?

    5

    11
    1. lol are you kidding me – heeney is a great player no doubt – but to pass on buddy ๐Ÿ˜ฎ some big cojones needed for that

      2

      15
  15. Only got 16 on field for next weekend so thinking of going Fyfe to Bontempelli.

    TU: It’s worth it
    TD: Save the trade

    18

    19
  16. Struggling to get 18 on the field so trading Sandi and Taranto for Heeney and Yeo

    TU Do it
    TD Don’t trade Sandi

    29

    4
  17. Hmmm Just looked at who I will have on field next week, only 14 playing, and with only 12k in the bank, cows are not ready to trade, highest priced one other than Greenwood is Stewart, but with 105 this week, but he has more to make so I think I’ll save trades with only 9 left and just take one for the boys this week and look next Monday, maybe I’ll go fishing next weekend

    4

    1
  18. 19 playing this week but this includes spuds like Parsons, Bolton and Williamson who may not even get picked. Also still need to make 3 upgrades, so thinking of going early on a couple of rookies just to free up some cash and get another premo on field:
    Out: Myers, Williamson, SPP
    In: Brown, Ryan, Zorko

TU: Do it – will have 1 less playing but Zorko should outscore SPP & Williamson combined
TD: Hold this week, wait for rookies on the bubble

    Thanks guys

    6

    7
  19. TU:
    Out: Marchbank, Fyfe & Barrett
In: Docherty, Kennedy & Luke Ryan

    TD:
    Out: Marchbank & Swallow
    IN: Docherty & Ainsworth

I will either have 8 or 9 trades left depending on the option and will complete the Newman to Lloyd upgrade once Lloyd BE equalises. Otherwise team is complete. Both Swallow & Barrett (or the replacements) will be bench players post bye round.

    2

    14
    1. Cheers all, going to go with the second option… but, should I add Fyfe to Bont on top of TD or save the trade?
      TU: Fyfe to Bont
TD: hold on to the trade

      3

      7
  20. I can go Myers to S.Selwood and Roughie to T.Lynch without having to downgrade. I know Scooters had a price rise but I need a player to replace the stain which is Myers who can give me points and cash generation.

    15

    2
  21. Harbrow out again this week according to article in Monday’s newspaper.
Clearly my worst trade of the year and he has to go as I only have 16 playing.

    6

    1
  22. The round 13 byes: I’m good except my defence, which frankly is utter devestation.

Every viable def rookie is out this week – Perryman, Scharenberg, Ryan. Can’t even hold Otten an extra week. I think before trades I had 2/8 available in defence.

I’m thinking of trading out Myers to allow Adams to shift to mid bench, and ditching Fyfe.

This allows Docherty and Lloyd in, but leaves Adams taking up a midfield spot until I decide if Newman stays, circa round 14 or 15.

Is Lloyd STILL 163 b/e? Thought that was last week’s figure?

    2

    0
    1. His 4 points stays in his price cycle for 2 changes, which is still keeping it up (162). He will drop ~28k (and sit pretty at 410k) with 100 and his BE the following week will be down to about 50.

      4

      0
      1. Thanks Huttabito. Just checked footywire and they had it at 165.

Will probably need to forgo the cash saving to avoid the donut and go (near) full premo this week.

Leaves me with D6 Newman and F6 Steele until something cheap enough occurs to upgrade.

        0

        0
    2. Should note that I CAN substitute via Perryman to backline, but with Lloyd I would have 5 premos + Newman in defence, so am better off keeping Adams in mids for now.

      0

      0
  23. Fyfe to S.Selwood (to make approx. 100k )
    Ryder to Kreuzer
Taranto to C.Brown (488k in the bank)

    Handy upgrade cash for Rd14.
    11 trades left

    2

    13
  24. Currently in a pickle with all rookies being 2-3 weeks off trading whilst multiple upgrade targets being ready (docherty, yeo, lynch etc.). Do I make luxury trades now such as Shaw and Steele to Doc and Lynch and saving barret, stewart, SPP etc.

T/U: Yes, risky, but will make more money off rookies and get premos for cheaper.

T/D: No, cull some rookies now, shaw and steele are luxury trades for later, making them now may result in running short of trades.

    Comment: Do nothing

    2

    11
  25. Whether to upgrade Sandi or not. My choice would be Martin but I still don’t know how Archie is affecting his scoring. Tonned up on the weekend with him in the side but was weak opposition. Will look to upgrade Witts to Gawn in a few weeks but I don’t know whether to pull trigger on this one.

T/U – Trade Sandi to Martin
T/D – Could produce bad scores against good opposition with Archie in the side (hold fire)

    5

    9
  26. Myers to C. Brown
    Taranto to Yeo

I understand going this early on Brown is a risk but the upside is he could be a handy loophole (dpp) when upgrading Barrett to fallen premium for (m9) and also gives me 18 players hopefully with Yeo in for Taranto. This would also complete my forwards with greenwood (f7).
TU- Risk it for the biscuit
TD- Cop 1 less player this week and wait for Stewart to Ryan next week to complete forward line

    13

    1
  27. To field a minimum of 18 players this week I will need to sideways trade out 1 under performing premo on the bye:
(11 trades left and 318.k itb)

    TU: Shaw

    TD: Fyfe

Comment: Keep both and cop the donut

    3

    18
  28. This being my first year of supercoach im wondering what i should do now that i have a full premo team and a fwd/mid/ruck swing bench cover. How much bench cover will i need and how many trades do i need to save. I only have 10 trades left and need to trade EVW this week otherwise i will be coping a donut. Have 94k in the bank to make trades. Currently ranked in the top 2,500.

    1

    5
    1. You should be congratulated for already being full premo with 10 trades left this early in your first year and on your ranking. Save 6 to 8 for finals if you want to win leagues. You can probably afford to trade to avoid the donut.

      1

      0
  29. TU: G Ablett
    TD: T Rockliff

Current midfield premiums consist of: P Dangerfield, J Selwood, S Pendlebury, J Kennedy, M Priddis, N Fyfe and M Bontempelli.

The extra money saved by selecting Ablett could help bring both J Lloyd and T Adams (moves S Burgoyne to the bench to be loopholed with one of Shaw/Simpson for the remainder of the season) in for T Stewart and J Berry rather than forgoing T Adams and downgrading to L Ryan.

    12

    12
  30. WHE, SPP and Fyfe out
Doc, Yeo and brown (col) in

Leaves me with scooter selwood as M8 but full in def and for

    Thumbs up: go for it
    Thumbs down: try again

    16

    1
  31. Not ideal but allows me to field 18 this week..

    Fyfe –> Scooter
Sandi via Nank DPP –> Macrae
    Roughie –> Yeo

Will have 11 trades left and around 110k ITB.

    T/U – YES
    T/D – NO WAY

    10

    13
  32. Out: Myers In: Roberton (via Perryman DPP)

Should I also trade out Sandilands for Heeney (via Nank DPP)?
This would enable me to field 18 this week (if JJK plays) and leave me with completed DEF & FWD lines and Nank/Witts in RUC.
Will also have 10 trades remaining with 1 more MID upgrade to do.

TU: Send the giant turf toe packing for the blonde Swan dynamo
TD: Just do the Myers –> Roberton trade

    12

    3
  33. Out goes: Shaw Otten SPP
    In comes: Docherty, Lloyd Ryan
Allows 18 warm bodies on the ground and maintains bank balance for future trades.
In addition, for what its worth I think M.Hibberd is a strong chance to replace EVW round 13.

    7

    5
    1. Do you have enough in the bank to just do Otten –> Docherty?
If not then I would suggest just doing Otten –> Lloyd and waiting a week to do
SPP –> Ryan (if named), as this will still leave you with 18 players this week.
I realise Docherty is a must have in DEF but is there anyone else you can trade besides Shaw (eg. Newman, Stewart, Marchbank)?

      1

      0
  34. Already made 2 trades so far this week and I have 17 on field.
I am still likely to win 3/4 league games

TU: Make a 3rd Shaw > Lloyd (Would mean keeping Newman as a D6/D7)

    TD: Hold

    0

    14
  35. I can upgrade Otten to Doc or Otten to Gaz via dpp.
Gaz would be last mid upgrade , still need a couple of defenders .

    TU : Gaz

    TD : Doc

    1

    18
  36. Fyfe situation is specific to each team but basically if you have a full midfield:
    – Fyfe to a premo giving 18 players this week then it is more likely to be good trade long term
    – Fyfe to a premo giving 19 or +19 players this week then it is more likely to be a bad trade long term
Obviously other factors come into play but hope this may help.

    1

    2
    1. FD
“Whatever Dusty/Jelwood scores I get all of since he replaces a zero, and not a rookie. If you want 100 points on a trade, he has to score 100, which seems safe for either one. If Dusty/Jelwood averages 5 more than Fyfe for the rest of the year, for 45, then I am 145 ahead. If he averages 10 more, Iโ€™m 190 ahead. If Fyfe stays at his current average, then I could be 235+ ahead, but that is optimistic”

      0

      1
  37. T/U- Rocky

    T/D- Dusty

Have: Danger, Pendles, JPK, Ablett, Fyfe, Priddis, SPS, Berry.

any other options would be great too!

    5

    4
  38. Playing 16 this week, want to trade WHE for Macrae, but would involve bringing in Luke Ryan early, we know what Ross thinks about playing the rooks I am suspicious whether he gets another game after the bye?

T/U: Chill out and bring him in!
T/D: Ross Lyon is the devil, just wait a week and go with 16.

    9

    4
  39. I have 14 trades left. I’m stuck trying to field 18. I have 17 on field now. If JJK is back, which I do not expect, I have 18, and am good. But, I am assuming he is not back. I will at least know for sure before any trades I could make would be locked out. So, in case/when JJK is rested R13.

I have no non-playing defenders to trade out.
I have no non-playing rucks to trade out
I have one non-playing mid I could trade, but wouldn’t if not forced (Fyfe, of course)
I have one non-playing forward I could trade, in WHE, but I already have 6 forwards I want to keep and would end up stuck with Nankervis in the ruck if I bring in another forward. So, I would be willing to downgrade, but not upgrade WHE. If I did upgrade it would be Heeney, but I don’t want to end up with Nank in the ruck or Yeo in the mids. Prefer not to spend a trade on an unforced upgrade of a forward.

There are, of course, no forward cows to downgrade to. The only option I can see for WHE is, god forgive me for the thought, Liam Jones. Brings in $54,600, added to the $134,300 I have now to make $188,900 for next round. I can hope he makes an 80+ average and some cash, but could end up stuck as an expensive F7. More likely to be a stepping stone to Gawn. Not a safe trade. Could end up brilliant if I am lucky, but wow, that would be some luck.

I used my last DPP to bring in Cousins for Hardwick last week. Not that there is a mid I would want for WHE + bank.

So, I could bring in Dusty/Jelwood for Fyfe, leaving me with $13,800. Whatever Dusty/Jelwood scores I get all of since he replaces a zero, and not a rookie. If you want 100 points on a trade, he has to score 100, which seems safe for either one. If Dusty/Jelwood averages 5 more than Fyfe for the rest of the year, for 45, then I am 145 ahead. If he averages 10 more, I’m 190 ahead. If Fyfe stays at his current average, then I could be 235+ ahead, but that is optimistic

So, I am looking at no trades if JJK plays, and no other outs.
Fyfe –> Dusty/ Jelwood if no JJK and no outs
Fyfe –> to Dusty/ Jelwood & WHE –> Liam Jones (Ominous Dominus) if no JJK and one (or more) out.

TU = Best plan available, Nick Fury approves, considers smiling but of course doesn’t.
TD = That is a stupid-ass plan and Nick Fury is ignoring it. (please comment why and what you would do instead)

    Thanks lots!

    4

    4
    1. Instead of trading Fyfe you could downgrade WHE to Ainsworth thus providing 18 players and pocketing approximately 140,000 plus your aforementioned figure of 134,300 equaling approximately 270,000 to 280,000 which could then be used after the byes.

Or you could use this weeks 2 remaining trades (if the trade above is done) to trade Newman to L Ryan increasing your current balance by approximately 300,000 to 570,000-580,000 and upgrading Cousins to Selwood/Dusty whilst still providing the requirement of 18 players.

      1. Good thoughts mate, you get an FD award for creativity in Supercoach!

One thing you made me realize is that I did not think enough about round 14-16, and what I will want to be doing after R13 and what cows are coming ready in the upcoming weeks. I need a multi week plan, which of course won’t happen, but having a plan is much better than not, even if it does not work out.

And now we know there will be no JJK, so I will indeed need at least one more warm body on the pitch.

        1

        0
  40. Is Kreuzer a viable upgrade for Sandi or Witts?
He is averaging 126 over the last 5 rounds, with BE of 54 this round.

    TU: Yes
    TD: No

    15

    8
  41. I assume these will be unpopular decisions but puts me at nearly full premo.

Fyfe -> Jelwood (Or any mid premo)
    Sandi -> Kruezer
    Hardwick – > Brown

Then over next 2 weeks i will do –

    Greenwood – Nuff
    Stewart – Ryan
    Berry – Lloyd
    Scooter – > Fwd Premo (Probs Mcrae/Yeo)

That will give me a few trades up my sleeve and a full premo side.

    4

    6
  42. I really don’t want to have a donut this week the final week of byes
I have a fair bit of money in the bank and I need to get rid of Taranto this week but need to make two trades to get to 18 which is fine I have 15 trades left and the plan was to trade heavily throughout the byes
Fyfe –> Doherty (Move Berry DPP)
    Taranto –> Buddy/McCrae
I have blankly stared at my team since Sunday and nothing this coming to mind. This increases my projected score from 1650’s all the way up to 1890’s and a good final score for the byes
TU Yes its sideways but I get two premiums out of it
TD Stare at my team more

  43. TU: Stewart -> Ryan
    Taranto -> Franklin
    Sandi -> Kruezer
    20 players playing altogether

    TD: Stewart -> Ryan
Taranto -> N. Riewoldt (if selected this week)
Fyfe -> Docherty (Moving Adams to the MID bench)
    21 playing altogether

    1. I’d keep Stewart for another week but I’m assuming you need that trade to happen in order to do the others?

      3

      1
      1. Yep, I only had 50k spare before any trades were made. There’s no one really worth getting for Taranto who’s $410k and under.

I would’ve liked to keep Stewart, because he obviously has a bit more cash to make, but yes I can’t make any other trades without making that one.

    1. Yeo has a massive points ceiling so he’s your man. But be warned he’ll have a quiet one against the Cats this week.

  44. trying to think if this is worth while option, out sandi, SPP, Myers
In yeo (via nank), Bont, scooter
Leaves 80k in the bank and 13 trades
    TU – good going
TD – not worth it in the long run
Side note since the byes I’ve dropped out of the top 1000 into the 4000s trying to make some headway in the right direction

  45. Hey guys, currently have Nank and Witts as my Rucks, with Roughy at F5 on the bye this week and looking in need of an upgrade. Which option is best?

TU: Trade Roughy to Yeo, leave rucks as they are for now
TD: Trade Roughy to Goldstein, via Nank DPP

    Cheers

  46. 17 playing which includes Berry(Def) Stewart, Parsons & JJ lol

Thinking to trade Fyfe to Lloyd which will get me link with Berry who I can switch to mid M10

    Midfield atm:

    Danger, Pendels, Fyfe, Rocky, JPK,
    Murphy, Sloane, Bont. SSelwood M9

Yes Trade Fyfe as SSelwood can be M8 & upgraded later & have 18 this week playing

No Keep Fyfe he will return to his best & take a donut

  47. Locking these trades in for this week, but unsure on the third to generate the sufficient cash. Also keep in mind I have 16 bodies at the moment with 17 playing if the third trade goes ahead.

Sandi (via Nank DPP) –> Macrae
    Roughie –> Yeo

    T/U – Fyfe –> Scooter
    T/D – WHE –> Ainsworth

  48. I’ve lined up the super trade of the year:

    OUT: Fyfe,Heath Shaw, Marchbank
IN: Ablett, Docherty, Lucky Luke Ryan

Thumbs up: I’m on the money
Thumbs down: Stop drinking vodka while Supercoaching

  49. EVW and SPP to Docherty and then a cheap mid/def (thinking going a early on Ryan due to lack of rookies). Leaves me with 15 trades, and 3 upgrades to do.
    TU: good trades
TD: back to the drawing board

  50. My trade plans were no trades this week, then stewart to ryan next week followed by steele to heeney / macrae and following week berry or barrett to lloyd which left me with 6 trades and and no rookies on field.

I only have $20k and 18 on field so with steele out this leaves me in a tough position this week as dont have cash for direct swap of steele to heeney / macrae. Tempted to move him into midfield then trade him to lloyd. I can use berry or perryman to swing lloyd into defense and then go stewart to Ryan next week and barrett / berry to heeney/macrae once they peak.

T/U move steele on for lloyd to avoid donut
T/D stick to original plan to ensure I get best value for lloyd

    1. I should add I am playing for ranking more than league wins (I am currently sitting 247th in ranking, I am in one cash league with work but its only a 10 man league this year so have lost a bit of interest in it).

  51. Currently 17 on field (14 Trades left) but will win cash league match anyway.
FWD- Yeo, Dahl, Mccrae, Heeney Greenw/Ains. (Nank in Ruck atm)
MID- Full premo with SPP/Myers/Fisher Bench.
I can afford TLynch if I trade Myers and SPP then put Ainsworth on mid bench.

    Final FWD upgrade-

T/U: Lynch (Field 18 this week)

T/D: Leave it alone and target Buddy/Greene etc. later

  52. what does everyone think is a good number of trades to have left for injuries once you have a full team of premos?

    1

    0
    1. 1 up 1 down there I say. Could go early on Ryan, then grab a solid premo forward i.e. Heeney, Yeo, Macrae, Dahlhaus

  53. Help please.
T/U Matt couch out in Dusty
T/D Matt crouch out in Gary Ablett

Or comment if I should hold Matt crouch.
    Thank you.

  55. T/U: SPP – S.Selwood. Wait till Scoot rises in price and then upgrade (138k in kitty)
T/D: SPP – Cheapest MID (loophole option), in the coming weeks upgrade Barrett – Premo MID.

MID: Danger, J.Selwood, Treloar, Bont, Beams, Rockliff, Fyfe, SPP
    BENCH: Myers, Barrett, Greenwood

Have 19 available so numbers don’t matter too much an sitting pretty nicely in my leagues.

  56. I don’t really get the loophole so my question is during the bye round can I make dangerfield my vc and someone not playing this week because of bye (such as cousins from Hawks) my captain? they would both be on the field not on the bench. I’ve got no emergencies anyway because of bye..so then if danger gets a crap score can I get another go at captain? I need help before game starts tonight. Thanks

  57. Hey guys.
I’m thinking Steele trade to Scott sellwood. And pocket some cash

    Thumbs up yes
    Or
    Thumbs down no

    Cheers

    3
  58. and to fund the above upgrade will need to trade SPP to-
T/U ryan (via berry) will mean i only play 17
T/D bolton, will have 18 but bolton has already gone up in price and has lousy js….

    5

    2
  59. I am desperate for starters and need a downgrade to generate cash for upgrades elsewhere, Vickers-Willis to Declan Mountford …

    tu – good trade
    td – take the doughnut

  60. Have 18 playing this week, (including scooter and parsons), also have 13 trades left.

Not sure whether to trade Steele now Scooter has gone down with a hammy. Would also cost me two trades as I’ve got no coin.

    TU Trade Steele, he’s done.
TD Hold Steele, save a trade, will likely be back in a week or two.

    1. Might pay to wait until final teams are named tonight, before you make a final decision. There is still a slight chance Steele could be a late in.

      1

      0
      1. Whats the chances Steele does a “Newman” and pumps out a 140 as a late in?

        Surely it couldn’t happen again?

        3

        2
  61. What’s the value of a Dpp?

    TU: Mountford 120k
    Td: shai Bolton 155k (fwd/mid)

Both not scoring great but need to field a player and need the cash to upgrade someone else so I can have 18

    2

    1
  62. Is it worth trading Steele straight for say a Tom Lynch (GCS) as this is the cheapest he will probably be and if he can become a top 6 forward in the back end of the year

    Have 17 trades left

    T/U – Trade Steele
    T/D – Hold

    6

  63. Got Dahl, yeo, heeney, buddy, macrae, who is the best last forward ?

T/U – Tom Lynch (Cheaper, capable, consistent)

    T/D – Nank

Comment – Wallis or anyone else

    5

    1
  64. DEF: Doc, Hibberd – Melb, Tuohy, Newmann, Berry, Hibberd – Nth (Shaw, Adams)
MID: Danger, S Selwood, Merrett, Beams, JPK, Macrae, P-Pepper, Myers (Fyfe, Pendles, Cousins)
    RUC: Sandi, Martin (Strnadica)
FWD: Lynch, Dahlhaus, Franklin, Roughy, Nank, Parsons (Eddy, Greenwood)
13 trades – 97K (17 on field) Trade who to who or hold?
