Have Tom Liberatore in my side, sitting on 471K as we speak after 3 scores of 129, 108 and 99. He has shown that he can score big ones, he’s had 4 matches where he has gotten over 129, but with that he has had a 40, 63 and 61. He’s a big POD, capable of averaging 100-110 for the rest of the season, but he has shown signs of inconsistency
Have a few players on mind, including Joel Selwood, and even a Nic Nat and swinging Stevie J into my midfield. Tom Mitchell could provide cover for SJ while he’s out and I also create a swing set in my mid which could prove to be beneficial.

Have read of some great midfields and noted the absence of any DPP to give flexibility.
I have a M/D and a M/F in my midfield for that flexibility but it is impacting my scoring potential.
Is the DPP a thing of the past?

When Robinson was injured in round 12; I placed him at F7 by swinging Nic Nat into the forwards and bringing Maric into the Rucks, assuming he’d be out for a month. I had planned that this week I would trade Robinson out for Hanley via the 40k in the bank I had and Staker swinging forward.
However, I had assumed that Hanley would score around 100, dropping his price but making him an attractive option that would be quick to rebound in price. But Hanley’s B/E is massive; and will drop a lot more in the next couple of weeks.
Robinson is listed as ‘Test’ on the SC injury list; if he does play, I’ll have to move him on because he has a B/E of 151. With an injury cloud over Goodes, without any trades I’ll have to rely on Staker to cover any absences in the back line.
I have 11 trades left. By trading Robinson out, I have $469 700 to play with. I don’t want to make 2 trades.
Assuming Robinson plays, which Defender is the best option?

Yep Birchall has been my burn man too had him from the start. I am thinking him to Shaw and then Vlastutin to Ibbotson but don’t quite have the money. Looking ok for top 4 only in running for league with 11 trades left it would be better to finish defence with as few trades as possible. So question is is H shaw a must have? Ibbotson/any other def under 548 100 or H Shaw and any other def under 486 600. Then Stevie J and another def before finals or keep Goodes as D6?

If I were you I would look to bring in the likes of Daniher or even oxley in the Fwds (dpp with Staker) for possibly caff and then go vlas to shaw. Try and look to downgrade do you can go bang bang in the next few weeks. I would look to either get shaw and/or bartel this week. Not sure bout ur salary cap though. Good luck!

is it a dumb idea to trade in sj in this week, for caff, money will be tight in 2 weeks wen i want sj in and caff ill be down in price,
and wen sj comes back he will be vs melb.

Before trading this week I have 8 trades left, weak opponent this week and was keen on capitalising on Selwoods low BE
I was going to trade JOM for Selwood and Vlat out for Blayne but Birxh has created a new headache,

Trade in Stevie J. for Gibbs.
Swap Vlas into mid with Gibbs into back and trade Birch for Ibbotson or Enright.
Okay, teams aren’t out yet so I’m just speculating.

This is my situation: Birchall has to go; I reckon he’ll be out for 8-10 weeks (I know what the estimation is).
Goodes is under an injury cloud; Webster is out of form.
In the forward line, Robinson is sitting at F7. He’s going too.
I have 40k in the bank.
Scenario 1: Trade Birchall and Robinson out; swap Staker forward and bring a couple of gunnish defenders in @ around 445k each. *No Ibbotson, Houli, Shaw etc.
Scenario 2: If I have cover for the week; Webster is played/Clisby stays/Goodes is fit, just forget about the defence. Trade Robinson for Clibsy via Staker, and use the money to upgrade my last midfield spot from Crouch to Swan; pushing Tommy Mitchell to the bench.
I know this seems illogical, because Tommy Mitchell is scoring well enough, but Swannies in red hot form; he won’t be this cheap for a long time, and finding a solid defender to bring in permantly is a real headache.
If I do the second set of trades (selections willing) next week I can go Birchall straight to Hanley, who should have a favourable run of games coming up.
