Tech League Trade Talk Rd15

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 24 2019

So….it was quite obvious who planned for Bye Rounds and who didn’t (*cough* me). That might just prove the difference in the end.  What moves are you making for Rd15?

  1. 9 Trades left with 70k to spend is going to be interesting on what to do. The forward line is complete with Worpel the worst and Hawkins closely behind.
The ruck still has ROB but Grundy there since round 2. Fort was also brought in hoping to make cash to get Gawn in but with a 3rd average of 150. It seems like it won’t ever happen. Hope ROB holds his ground and keeps a nice 95+ average going.
The mid as Walsh as the only upgrade left and MCrouch/Sloane looking great this week. Clarke and Bewley still making cash on the bench.
Lastly the defence still has Hore to upgrade. Frustrated with Sicily after bringing him in 2 rounds ago. Hore could go this week to Rich to complete the defence but waiting for price drops from Hurn/Whitfield seems more enticing. Just need Hore to move on from this week and return to previous form.

Walsh to Mcrouch/Sloane looks best bringing me to 8 trades left, with ROB and Hore to upgrade. Just becomes whether it is worth trading players like, Young, Scott, Hinge, to a playing rookie.

140 points off the lead in 2nd, going to be a very interesting end of the season for the comp. Lets see if i’ve used these trades well and will be able to get myself through the rest of the season as i feel I have a lot more trades than other teams

    1. If anything, a sideways trade to Nic Nat, once ROB makes cash could be very interesting!

West Coast: “It was good to get out there & play with the boys (in the WAFL).. If all goes to plan I’ll play AFL this week.” Nic Naitanui

  2. No trades for me, only have 5 left and no money with only $500 but would say I am fully upgraded.
DEF ave less than 90 – Crisp, Andrews
MID ave less than 105 – Coniglio, M. Crouch
FWD ave less than 90 – Gray
