  1. Anyone contemplating bringing in Darcy as R2!! he certainly appears to be able to man up and compete
    would be a ballsy move,
It actually suits my structures and trades for me to do this,
I would trade out hannan for Darcy via Sterndica swing and would create a cash pool of 295K
I would have 7 trades left, it is intended to eventually trade Darcy in 4-5 weeks for a premo ruck when he is ripe for the plucking

any one else considering this move OR am I just crazy to do it let alone think about it?

  2. FWD upgrade

T/U Yeo (and get the same as everyone else)
T/D Heeney (still lower percentage owners but not quite POD)

  3. Really annoying how JJK was initially supposed to be 3 weeks, and he just keeps getting the “1 week tag” added to his injury count week after week.

    T/U – keep the faith
T/D – ditch him for Yeo

    4 trades left!!!!!

  4. Only 4 trades left, full premo and decent cover on every line, $100K in back.

T/U: Parsons to Witherden and $230k for emergencies

    T/D: Save the trade

  6. 8 trades and 133k. Only have SPP to upgrade in Mids and 2 FWD to full premo. Thinking this week to downgrade Parsons to Witherdin via moving Bolton to Forward. Then next week upgrade SPP to J Selwood. Open to other suggestions. Have Fyfe Bont Danger Adams Treloar Cripps Sloane. Thinking spend up to 530k so i have enough to use on upgrading a fwd in Round 18.

    1. G’day Matthew,
I’m spewing, because I am already a Selwood owner, but he will be an absolute bargain in a couple of weeks. Just depends on if u want to wait that long to upgrade.

  7. G’day guys,
Can’t split these two for my M8. I’ve got limited cash after locking in Parsons to Gawn. Thumbs much appreciated.
    T/U: Rockliff
    T/D: Parker

    1. Really is a toss of a coin this one!!

I can see Rocky going bigger than Parker once his shoulder improves, but clearly he is a massive injury risk.

Parker probably the safer pick for this reason.

If you are now going for league wins (like most of us), just bear in mind that Sydney have a couple of pretty tough games in week 1 and week 3 of the SC finals (week 1 game is Geelong at Skilled, and week three is Adelaide in Adelaide)

    2. Parker had an interrupted preseason and I reckon he’s finally hitting his straps. Could go bang in the last couple of months, tempted myself at that price. Rocky can go huge but I just can’t trust him in SC anymore.

  8. I Need to replace Sandilands I’m tempted to go Ryder instead of Gawn. Tu: Yes Ryder is in good form. Td: Gawn will out score Ryder.

  9. Hey guys

So I have Nank and Ryder in ruck and want to bring Witherdin and Gawn in but swing Nank to forward.

Is this possible by trading out Parsons and or cousins/Bolton?

    Not sure how it works

    1. Hi Joey – assuming that you have the cash, you would do a double trade out -Parsons & Cousins. Then click on the green S beside Nank’s name to move him from RUCK to FWD. Then trade in Gawn to the vacant RUCK position and trade in Witherden into the vacant MID position.
If you have T Adams in your DEF, you will then be able to use the DPP link between him & Witherden. And you will also have opened up the DPP link between RUCK – FWD with Ryder & Nank.

  10. I’ve be going in circles on this so much I’d like some help going less mad. 🙂

I will have about $1,237,000 to buy two mids. One must be this week and one next week. That’s $618,500 each, in theory. My current mids are:

    Danger
    Titch
    Bont
    Pendles
    Treloar
    Gary

Leftover money will likely be use later, either to help pay for an injury replacement, or to upgrade Greenwood if needed once he goes over $400,000. If the best combo does not cost a lot that is totally fine. If there is something really close but over that it could be possible since I was conservative on a few things.

I am tentatively ruling out waiting for Jellwood since he looks out this week and I fear he will come back off, as players returning from concussion often do. Plus, coming back that far out is not worth waiting for if I do not have to.

I would love to hear what you all think, and thank you!

    1. I would be all over Z.Merrett and Dusty. Think they will round out your MIDS nicely. Won’t leave you any money though…

    2. JPK- Post bye specialist
Very durable: Only missed 3 of his last 146 matches
      Very consistent:
      127/143 80+
      100/143 100+
      49/143 120+

      L Neale-
Durable: Missed 1 match in the last 4 years
      Very consistent:
      Since 2015
      50/58 80+
      41/58 100+
      20/58 120+

Both can be purchased between 550,000-560,000. (JPK this week, Neale next week)

Will have 120,000 to 135,000 remaining.

    3. FD have you considered.

      P Cripps this week?. $553K. B/E 69.

POD.Huge ceiling. Great draw. Plays the depleted Dees this week.

He is a lock for me.

Next week look atat super durable player like JPK, Neale or even Ward?

  11. This is my midfield atm:
Danger, Merrett, Zorko, Treloar, JPK, Selwood, Bont, Fyfe

Will probably trade Fyfe out later on so who for my last mid spot:

    T/up – Titch

    T/down – Martin

    Comment for someone else

  12. was gonna hold h. greenwood for one more week for his price rise and see how gawn goes but now that greenwood has been rested i am risking getting a donut, should i bring in gawn? only real other options are s. martin from brisbane or j. kennedy from west coast

    T/U: gawn
    T/D: s. martin or j kennedy

      1. haha yep :’D hadnt even checked if he was back in yet, the ‘one week away’ tag is getting a bit old.

  13. My captain choices are: Danger, Merrett, Zorko, Treloar, JPK, Selwood and Docherty (Fyfe if people still consider him worthy). Was thinking of putting VC on Danger and C on Docherty, thoughts? (please comment any other suggestions!!)

    T/up – Yes

    T/down – No

  14. Foolproof plan Spp to Gawn via dpp , Marchbank to Hibberd. happy man !
Now Gaz out probably hold SPP, marchbank still gone, cant bring in Maxy ,
    happy days

    2
  15. Stick to the original plan and bring in parker for spp meaning i get a donut n parsons in the fwd line or bring in heeney n only cop parsons n no donuts

    up parker
    down heeney

  16. With both Gary and Greene out I’m a bit stuck. Currently ranked 95th and want to keep pushing for a high finish. Considering the following:
TU: trade Gary to Dusty or Neale.
    TD: trade Berry to Rocky.

I had planned on keeping Berry all season as he is a good swing with Hibberd but Witherden could be just as good.

    12

  17. Need 3 trades this week!

I pretty much have to go sandi to gawn

Then the other one i can bring in M. Hibbered to cover Gaz and Greenwood but also for dpp link with Witherden

    Or

I was planning on trading Shaw, moving Witherden back and filling out my mid as i’ve got money in the bank
I may be able to do this next week but i was hoping on getting P. Cripps who will go up in price a heap

    11 Trades, 428k in bank

  18. What’s best at this stage?

TU – Being full premo but no MID-DEF swing (all other swings though)
TD – 1 short of being full premo but having MID-DEF swing (meaning all swings in place)

    4

    9
  19. Have Martin, Sandi and Strnadica in RUC with Nank FWD. Not enough cash to straight swap Sandi to Gawn.
With 8 trades left and Witherden on MID field (Miles, Cousins and Hibberd MID bench). Next four rounds I play bottom teams in bottom 8.

TU: Use one trade – Nank to RUC (lose RUCK/FWD swing). Sandi to Buddy/Rocky/M Murphy via DPP
TD: Use two trades -Sandi to Darcy as R2 (leaving Nank as F6 with Strn link) & Parsons to any player/position $635K effectively moving Witherden to MID bench

  20. Who agrees Port should give Robbie Gray some more time in the midfield because it might lead to a few less wasted inside 50 entries of the feet of Wingard SPP and Ollie Wines?

He’s also in my team and I refuse to cop another 40 from a proven midfielder

  21. Getting sick of the Kennedy one week away (like every other owner) bite the bullet and trade for Gawn via nank or take a donught with for Kennedy
TU Do the trade (bite my pride leaving 8 trades)
TD Take the donught and cry a little
