  1. Looks like Parfitt has done a pretty serious hammy. He’s out for Black.

I’ll make a second trade for Buddy or Macrae. Unsure of who’s getting the chop for them.

  2. Really want to one up/one down but the cash cows look non existent after next round so may need to double down this week.

    1. I went Marchbank/ Eddy down this week to fisher and Balic and still scored 2124.

      $225k banked.

      With SPP holding down M8.

I will be picking the best rookie, and looking Forward/Back or Ruck for the best Fallen Premo to suit my Byes.

  3. I’m just going to keep telling myself that week 6 never happened.. it was just a bad dream.. a very………………very bad dream. oh look, week 5 straight into week 7.. works for me lads..

  4. Not sure that I will make a trade this week.
Whilst Hibberd is enticing he is probably a couple of weeks too early as still significant $’s to be made on Otten, Hampton & Stewart.
Then again I could go EVW for one of them to build a warchest for the byes.
With good scores from Taranto, SPP & SPS then can be held onto nearly into byes.
Going to hang on to D.Swallow for the moment.
Wesley Snipes once said ‘Always bet on black’. I don’t think I will and will give him a miss.
However, I will be looking for viable downgrade targets in the next 2-3 rounds for likes of Eddy and maybe Barrett unless he gets named.

    1. He’s pushing for a call up, I’m waiting/holding. His chances would be better if port weren’t scoring so well.

      1. Chad Cornes got interviewed after he kicked his bag of 5. He said that the Port Power coaches had wanted Eddy to work on his defensive pressure which accordingly to Chad he showed in spades in that game (including pinning someone for holding the ball) against the Crows reserves.
Fingers crossed he’ll be back this week or next.

        1. If I had to guess, he’ll definitely be back for round 8 at the latest. Game over in China against the Suns, perfect opportunity to rest one of the key talks like Dixon or Westhoff, maybe even Ryder, rather than dragging them halfway across the world for a glorified exhibition match.

  5. Thinking
Parfitt > black/parson depending on selections
    Roughy > Franklin
leaves me with 125k for next week but down to 20 trades :/
or do i flick on someone like hampton/stewart for hibberd

  6. Early thoughts are Hampton and Roughy to Simpson and Buddy (grabbed Balic and Fisher last round)

Parfitt injury might screw with these plans though.

      1. Yeah true – wanted to upgrade at the back, that’s why I’m considering Hampton.

        Will ponder some more 😉

    1. Hampton to EVW and Parfitt to Black…given Simpkin has a BE of about 30 and hasn’t destroyed his hamstring?

Trade Simpkin next week if he has an ordinary score (30-50) or potentially hold him if he rips out a 70+.

    1. Not the worst option, very good intercept mark which is SuperCoach gold. I’d still prefer Rance of the Rd12 bye and have others I want way more, regardless of price.

He’s always looked to breakout but falls short every year.

      5

      2
        1. I meant along the lines of, If I was to pick up one Rd12 bye player, it would be Rance.

I then would not have room for anymore given the other defensive picks I want/have.

          1

    2. While I’m here, thoughts on Heeney? He should average in the 90-95 range and with forward options a bit thin and at 433k seems a decent shout?

      21

      0
      1. I don’t mind him. Bear in mind that he’s recovering from Glandular fever and that could have some bearing on his fatigue.

        10

        1
    3. My thoughts on J McGovern (WC)

I had him all year in 2016. His ability to read the play and intercept mark made me think he could break out.

When he played centre half back he did very well. But he seems to get moved around a fair bit. Forward/ 2nd Ruck.

From memory he only averaged around 85 last year. Pass.

If your looking for a breakout POD. I would be going D Roberton from St Kilda.

      109.8 ave. 1.5% ownership. $535.800.

He is certainly on my radar.

  7. Roughy to Black

Butler or Houston to Parsons if named

Leaves me with 550k to go WHE and the remainder of butler/houston up to Cameron and Buddy

This means I will still have roughly 350-400k after that and then can go a semi ripe black or balic, fisher or SPP up to any mid or forward

p.S otten should then be 420k and shaw 480 ish so maybe a sneak 2 up…

That means my team will be

Shaw, DOch, Laird, Adams, Mcgrath, Williamson (newman, collins)

Rocky, Danger, Pendles, Treloar, Fyfe, Bont, Sloane, JPK (fisher, barrett, hibberd)

    Goldy, Witts, Preuss

Dahl, Buddy, Macrae, Cameron, Balic, black or parsons (eddy, Hannan

    1. You can get rid of Roughy but don’t touch Butler or Houston. They still has 50-60k each to make. your team looks good so don’t overload with rookies. because they will cost you 2 trades. one to come in , another to upgrade. Looks like you just don’t want to miss the boat. Relax, your team is balanced. You should take full advantage of that. Don’t forget this is still round 6. there are injuries, fallen premiums, suspensions, burn out,…coming to cover … You have Rocky, Fyfe and Cameron. It is a gamble if they play the whole season.
How many trades have you got left?

      1

      1
  8. There are no good rookies to downgrade to this week which is disappointing. Might just have to close my eyes and pick one purely for the cash grab. Will be looking to grab Pendles as $577k #bargain

    6

    1
    1. Eh? This is probably the best week of downgrades we’ll get for a good while now. Melican, McNiece, EVW, Black and Parsons.

      15

      0
        1. McNeice only costs $102,400. If he never plays again He’ll be a cheap loophole. And starting from that low he can make cash even with a lower average. And you get more cash from the downgrade…..

But, I still look forward to reading what you think of him! 🙂

The downgrade targets, extra wisdom we want, ask by talking like Yoda we do.

          11

          0
          1. Not for me FD. There’s going to be enough loophole options on the bench going forward without planning for one. Any rookie coming in at this point still needs to make a few $.

            2

            0
      1. After sleeping on these trade moves i have decided that i must have lost my mind to be contemplating trading in Elliott Yeo.

I now propose the more conservative trade:

        Roughhead to Shaun Higgins.

        3

        15
  9. With Nank, Greene and maybe even Fyfe getting suspended and Parfitt injured it’s going to be an interesting week. Looking at what happens down at Geelong with Black/Parsons

    9

    0
    1. Didn’t see the incident -is Nank definitely going to be suspended?

Would prefer to do a double downgrade this week, but if Nank is out, then I need to trade Parfitt for a ruck (even though they all have high break evens this week):

      T/up S Martin $557,400 (Aver = 109.2 / BE = 152 / Versus Syd this week)
      T/down Grundy $513,300 (Aver = 98.2 / BE = 148 / Versus Carl this week)

      Comment – Sauce Jacobs looks to be hitting a bit of form – $479,800 / Aver = 91.5 / BE = 105 / Versus Nth this week

Want this ruckman to be the best season long pick for my team (so Nank can stay forward).

      9

      1
  10. Thinking:

    Parfitt to Black

    Beams to Pendles

Beams doesn’t look like a keeper and will have to go eventually. With Pendles this cheap almost can’t not get him in.

    21

    4
  11. Trying to decide out of simpson, JJK or yeo as an upgrade target.
Will involve downgrading one of marchbank /parfitt and upgrading the other.

    3

  12. Was thinking how difficult this season looks, and bemoaning the lack of reliable rookies, but then thinking back to previous seasons when we all had the same rookies, all culled them at the same time and traded the same premiums, I got to finals time and there were only 2 or 3 different players between my opponents. Maybe this season will be a bit more interesting, because I think there will be more variation (and luck),

    23

    0
  13. Pretty sure Dahl and Nank will be out this week which creates chaos in my forward line as I have Eddy and Strnadica on the bench. Anyone with Parfitt is going to be even worse off. Bloody round 6!

    1

    3
  14. Due to the slim pickings of MID rookies…

David Myers? Obviously goes against all unwritten rules but tore up (130 supercoach points) the VFL and hopefully comes in this week. Decent JS?

    5

    1
    1. Thought about it and im saying no. Saving him until he’s on the bubble. Other options that are on the bubble this week i.e. EVW, Black and Parsons instead.

      11

      0
      1. Given his injury history, holding out for the bubble is a very smart move. Sure lock for best 22 once he gets in though.

        12

        0
  15. Currently have Eddy, Spencer and Stranadica not playing in Rucks/Forwards. With Nankervis looking like he’s on the wrong side of the MRP (and Fyfe) if Eddy doesn’t get named i’m going to have to plug a hole or two with my trades this week.

    1

    0
  16. Going to be a tough week working out trades. A few rookies 1-2 weeks from the ideal time to cull may have to go early. Most likely outs for me would be Hampton, Marchbank or Butler but it will depend on which bubble rookies have best JS. Ideally i would like to hang onto Marchbabk a bit longer purely for his reliable output. Heath Shaw could be a good one this week with his BE 81.

    0

    0
  17. Annoyed at Rocky as I dumped WHE early to get him in, but thinking forward from here. Managed 2042 which apparently was an ok score (My goal is finish in top 10k btw so not that ambituous)

Rookies are tough at the moment – Have Hampton, Ottens, Newman, Stewart, Marchbank, SPS, SPP, Barrett, Pickett, Fisher, Preuss, Butler, Houston, Hannan, Eddy

All are most likely to make BE, some aren’t playing but have very low BEs ie Eddy & Preuss so will depend on teams. Definitely want to move one or two to get maybe McNiece, EVW in (not 100% sold on Black) but will probably wait for this week’s Cow Talk

  18. Roughead -> Balic
    Parfitt -> Black or Parsons

I know I’ve missed the start on Balic, but I think he’s going to wind up averaging similar to Roughy anyway. There’s going to be a lot of fallen premiums in a couple of weeks, so now is the time for a cash grab.

    1

    14
      1. Chillo – g’day!!

FWIW – Balic spent a fair bit of time on the weekend up forward, and I think this will really limit his scoring (particularly if Fremantle keep getting beaten).

They did put him in the middle for only 2 – 3 centre bounce downs, and he immediately scored well through a few tackles, contested possessions.

He looked pretty good, but I don’t trust what Ross is going to do with him.

I am just very unhappy that I tossed and turned about bringing in Hardwick versus Fisher all week – and went with Fisher.

He scored like crap in a small forward role that he is not used to, and now he apparently now has a tight hamstring?

Watched Hardwick the week before versus the Eagles, and he looked very composed. Was just worried about Birchall and Duryea coming back in.

        2

        0
        1. Thanks Brett – I’m in the same boat of having passed on Balic and Hardwick for Fisher. I’ll reconsider this weeks trades.

          0

          0
  19. I could actually go ottens to doch and one of houston/butler to black (or parfitt to parsons if named).

    3

    1
  20. With the likely inclusion of Myers, I think I might break the golden supercoach rule and get him early for Swallow. Is an exception because of his maturity, but I think he can be a good scoring rookie, and Swallow’s BE is 94 so he will start losing money and my trade options are right on the edge (within 5-10k of what I will have available). 2 options:

    T/U – Otten>Laird
    T/D – Beams>Sloane

    14

    6
  21. T/U: Butler > Black/Parsons Matera > Pendles.

    T/D: Matera > Black/Parsons, Hampton > Laird.

Have 7 Premo mids already, so pendles will complete the mids, but only the 3 guns in DEF, but i feel that its too early to cull some of the guys in DEF as they are scoring better than the Mid/Fwd rookies..

    4

    4
  22. will hibberd be a top 10 def and should we be bringing him in at his bargain price?

    12

    13
  23. Strongly considered an upgrade this week, but I think I’m going to take the patient approach. Pending selections:

    Parfitt -> Parsons
    Marchbank -> EVW

DEF: Adams, Shaw, Howe, Otten, Newman, Hampton (EVW, Stewart)
MID: Danger, Selwood, Fyfe, JPK, Treloar, Beams, SPP, Balic (Fisher, Barrett, Pickett)
    RUC: Martin, Sandi (Strnadica)
FWD: Dahl, Yeo, Nankervix, Steele, Butler, Taranto (Parsons, Eddy)

$790k in the bank – should be able to manage 6 upgrades over the next 4 weeks with an extra downgrade or two thrown in. Will leave 12 trades, one upgrade and a couple of possible luxury trades (Steele, Sandi, Beams, Treloar?) still to do.

    4

    2
    1. Blueballs – see my post above.

I reckon Fisher will be out this week with hammy tightness / strain, therefore just be aware that you won’t have any cover in your MIDS if this happens.

      0

      0
  24. Gah. Just short of Marchbank/Parfitt to Adams/Parsons

Adams having a slightly better game than expected and Marchbank/Parfitt both having quieter than expected has left the cash difference.

Would rather not get rid of Otten yet either. Looked good on the weekend yet again, DE of 50% hurt his score in the end. His DT:SC ratio was higher, it’s usually his SC score coming out on top and given he had 88 in DT, he could have been another very good score for him.

    0

    0
    1. Is ottens a keeper though? If he isnt arent you better off going early on him if it allows you to bring in adams over a simpson / lloyd type?
Im facing similar quandry, I can either go marchbank / Parfitt to simpson/parson or I can go Otten/Parfitt to Doch/parsons.
Im leaning towards latter as in long run I see Doch as top 2 where as I am still unsure on Simpson.

      1

      0
    2. Gonne give Otten one more week, personally. Jenkins in and he was straight back down to a 60 point score. BE of 50ish, so one more of those is fine, but if it looks like a possible ongoing trend I’ll just bite the bullet next week. If he can put up another 90+ though, he might buy himself another fortnight.

      3

      0
  25. Will be moving on Parfitt for a premium forward.

T/U: Go cheaper option in Heeney
T/D: Spend the cash on Yeo

    13

    5
  26. I have some funds already which leaves me with choice.
Pretty set on Marchbank and Parfitt out.

TU: double down Marchbank > EVW and Parfitt > Black/Parsons leaves 610k itb
    TD: 1 up 1 down: Marchbank > EVW/Hibberd and Parfitt > Buddy/Black

Comment: double up Marchabnk and Parfitt > Buddy and Hibberd leaves 36k itb

    1

    5
  27. With the crop of downgrade targets really thin looking for next week, I’m going to take advantage of them while they are here. Looking at

    OUT: Hampton & Turner
IN: Ben McNiece & one of the two Geeling forwards.

    10

    1
  28. Trades at the moment

    Parfitt > A. Black
    O’Meara > Fisher

At the moment, there’s no midfielder on the bubble along with a lack of DPP link between the midfield and defence means that unless I can find an alternative trade (or a midfielder on the bubble) I’ll have to take the trade on the chin as Marchbank, Hampton, Otten all have sub 60 breakevens.

    0

    6
  29. I have no idea what to do in regards to my trades this week. JOM B/E of 104 is worrying.

DEF: Laird, Adams, Shaw, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton (Stewart, Newman)
MIDS: Danger, Pendles, Heppell, Fyfe, J.Kennedy, Beams, SPP, JOM (Barrett, Balic, Fisher)
FWDS: Dalh, Nankervis, Franklin, WHE, Roughead, Parfitt (Butler, Eddy)

    0

    0
  30. From nothing worth trading in weeks gone by, to requiring at least 5 trades this week all at once.

Gotta take Pendles (for JOM) at this price no questions. With only a single trade remaining, do I take Hibberd in defence (who picks himself at this point) for Marchbank/Hampton or do I downgrade due to the sudden second coming of the cows?

    8

    1
    1. Well, Nank has just gone and added another dimension to this knife and forkery. Extremely frustrating timing given all the premo rucks are a week from being bottomed out.

      Do I now..

T/U Pendles and Hibberd, leaving a donut in the rucks as per original trade
T/D Pendles and Stefan Martin/Grundy in, Nank thrown forward.

The idea of passing on a cheap defender is gutting, but so is bringing in a depreciating ruck and so is a bloody donut for that matter.

      Comment any other crafty suggestions.

      4

      3
      1. You could possibly wait a week on Pendlebury, with a BE of 123, he won’t go up too much in price this week, if at all

        7

        0
    1. I’m tempted by Heeney.

So whats everyones thoughts on Heeney Vs Buddy.

T/U. Young Bull……….. Heeney will Ave 95 from here.

T/D. Old Bull. ……….. Buddy is Buddy after all.

Comment for Yeo………. I still cant do it.

      7

      10
      1. would be great to have a poll on this- its definitely trade I’m debating…. at the moment i’ve got heeney slightly ahead due to his hopefully more consistent scoring…..

        4

        0
  31. My problems are on the FWD line…

Greene, Dahl, Nank – all likely to miss…

    Thinking of trading:
    Parfitt -> Black or Parsons
    Butler -> Buddy

Is it worth taking Lance on??

    6

    4
        1. He’ll be fine. Sprained his wrist in the 4th quarter but kept playing.

No mention in their medical press release that came out yesterday, not idea where the rumour started.

          2

          0
  32. Marchbank > EVW (or maybe Mcniece, I love myself a cheap rookie) is happening unsure on second

    TU Houston > Black
Bank 660K to upgrade Bulter,Hampton,Taranto, Otten I’m coming weeks

    TD Houston > Heeney/JJKbank 300K – 364K

    2

    9
  33. Well I’ve had to make two trades again. I would’ve had 3 people at least in my forward line not available for this round.

First trade I did was a sideways trade, which was Greene -> Yeo
This trade is a lock. Yeo looking to rise way higher than Greene looks like he’s going to get to this year.

The other person I’m having to trade out is Brandon Parfitt, who has done his hammy. There are two people I’m tossing over for who to bring in

    TU – Parfitt -> Balic
TD – Parfitt -> Parsons (If he gets selected, after serving out his suspension).

Parsons would be more helpful to free up more cash, but at the same I do like having a MID/FWD to be replaced by a player who is also MID/FWD. So Balic would be a good help in that situation, still leaving me with 180k to spare in the cap (which is to be left alone so I can upgrade Witts to Martin in Rd. 9).

Shame because I wanted to bring in Hibberd this week as my kinda sideways trade, but that’s now thrown out the window.

Next week though I’m looking at trading in EVW for Stewart, just to free up a bit more cash. Would’ve maybe been a good second trade for this week, but it was either him or Parsons (if he comes back in). Now that my forward line was about to get screwed up big time, I can’t make any DEF trades this week.

    1

    11
  34. Since i have Nank in my ruck and Preuss on the bench, if Preuss doesn’t play this week should i cop a donut or upgrade Parfitt to Stef Martin, move Nank to Forward and downgrade JOM to Parsons instead of JOM to Pendles and Parfitt to Parsons?

given my current midfield is really weak (Bont, Danger, Fyfe, Treloar, Beams, Steele, SPP, O’Meara)

    TU: cop a donut
TD: trade O’Meara for Stef Martin instead of Pendles

    3

    13
  35. Easy one this week…..

    Otten –> McNiece
    Houston –> Sloanedog

    Mids are complete;
Sloane, Danger, Fyfe, Pendles, Oliver, Bont, Treloar, Titchell

    5

    8
  36. Big dilemma this week. Grab Pendles at his lowest while I can or bolster FWD line, particularly with Nank out?

    TU – Otten-McNiece & Parfitt-Pendles

    TD – Marchbank-McNiece & Parfitt-Macrae

TU option means MIDS are complete (Beams M8), SPP to bench, lose FWD-MID swing, have to play Bowes this week for Nank.

TD option means one spot left in FWD (Balic F6), keep FWD-MID swing and Butler comes on field this week for Nank.

    1

    12
      1. Danger, Selwood, Bont, JPK, Fyfe, Treloar, Beams and SPP at M8. Pendles would send SPP to bench.

        1

        0
        1. Youre essentially doing what Im doing. Cashing in on 2 cashcows that were never going to be “keepers” for a proven stud. Smart move!

Im bringing in Sloane and McNiece for Otten and Houston.
Gives me Sloane, Danger, Fyfe, Pendles, Oliver, Bont, Treloar, Titchell.

Nothing wrong with Pendles, but can you somehow swing Sloane in instead of Pendles?

          1

          2
          1. Nah, too expensive. Could only do it by switching out Beams and he’s a luxury trade for down the track. Cashing in cows the priority.

            3

            0
      1. all depends if you rate Oliver as a premium by years end. if you don’t you need another trade to upgrade him to a super premium

        1

        0
  37. Have no cash & no ruck cover for nank (he was ment to be the ruck cover god dammit)

Considering otten to a rookie & upgrading parfitt to one of goldy or grundy

    6

    0
  38. T/U Ottens and parfitt to T Adams and Parsons/Black
T/D Mbank and Parfitt to McNiece/EVW and Yeo/JJK

Option one means I have 4 prem defenders with rd13 bye but overall I still have at least 18 players on field in each bye round (was looking at ottens to Doch but that leaves me with 17 in rd 11 so will bring in Doch after rd 11 or swap him for Mbank later).
Option 2 is higher risk but means more cash in bank and more premiums available in rd 11 and 13. I was iffy on Yeo but his numbers are getting hard to ignore. 4 tons, 3 over 135 and only one score under 80.

    1

    4
  39. Are Neale and Duncan legitimate options in the MID for a POD?

Neale strung together 3 nice scores in a row and only 2.8% ownership.

Duncan with a low score of 99, avging 113 and only 1% ownership.

My first proper year playing, can anyone give me any reason why they won’t continue this run?

    1. Neale should be a decent option, he was popular towards the second half of last season, then again that was with Fyfe out. Now with Fyfe back in and him being in more teams than Neale he’ll be a solid POD again.

  40. I can only give my opinion.

I started with L Neale. for these reasons.

He was Number 1 for possessions last year without having Sandi feeding him the ball.

Fyfe back takes the heat off him a little.

He gets the ball as much as TMitchell and uses it better than Treloar.

I think if he played for a big team in Melbourne his ownership would be far greater.

Averaging only 2 points a game less than Danger. He has served me very well.

As for Duncan. I ,like a lot of coaches think he has to share points with both J Sellwood and Danger.

If your going to have 2 Mids from the same team you want the best 2.

    1. Thanks mate that was exactly what i was after.

Neale was the 1 i was looking at mainly.

I have Fyfe also, and i saw a few people pre season thinking Neale would drop off with Fyfe back but that doesnt seem the case. But he is scoring well and consistently which i like

I can either get the Bont or Neale, but am actually leaning to Neale for the POD factor. Running 3.8k atm so want to differ my squad slightly. Bont will be a target in the coming weeks tho

      1. I was tossing up between the Bont and L Neale all preseason

Freo gets to play a lot of the bottom teams this year after falling off a cliff in 2016. The Bulldogs will have stiffer opposition.

I still think The Bont will probably score slightly more this year.

L.Neale just suited my Bye structure better.

I nearly traded JOM to The Bont after round 3, but went Sloane instead.

Best trade I’ve made this year.

I will be looking at getting him in after his R11 bye,if I can fill M8 with SPP and Myers till then.

Best of luck for the rest of your season.

        1. Thanks mate,

Thinking im going to go Neale also, then Bont after his r11 bye also. The extra gun mid option for r11 is ideal.

Best of luck to you too

  41. Facing the Nank Dilemma this week,
    Should I…..
T/U Trade out Hoskin-Elliott, sub Nank into the forward line, trade in Grundy (don’t cop a zero on the field and Nank goes forward where he belongs)
    or
T/D keep Nank in ruck and cop a doughnut, trades are gold and Hoskin-Elliott will make you more money yet!!

  42. Parfiit needs to go this round and JOM probably the other candidate. Looking to do one premium upgrade this week and another next week. 25 trades, 280k in the bank

This week is Shaw vs Rance. Shaw has the higher ceiling IMO, gets more of the ball and is a better fantasy player but I’m liking Rance as he fits my bye structure. At this stage I will be fielding only 18 and 17 players respectively in R11 and R13.
Furthermore I believe with Richmond’s easy draw out the way, Rance will see a lot more ball down back and rack up intercept marks as per usual

    T/U Shaw
    T/D Rance

  43. Tempted to trade in Williams over Shaw this week. Williams is being groomed at the Giants to take over Shaw’s role.
Shaw has had two tons and a bunch of crap scores so far, while Williams has been ultra consistent. Although I already have Howe, and am eyeing off Roberton as well… How many defensive pods can one man have? Haha

TU: Take the punt on Williams.
TD: Play it safe and bring in Shaw.

  44. Anyone moving Beams on? Does not seem to be hitting the expected heights.
    Thinking of the following:

    Beams to Sloane T/U
Leave Beamer he’ll be ok T/D

  45. If like me you have Teia Miles on your bench waiting for call up he has just been listed as 4-6 weeks out with a medial ligament injury.
I’ve never had so many loophole options

  46. I have both Nank and Greene and I hate trading out premiums Greene is out for 2 weeks but I reckon Ill hold him he is a lock on average to be top 10 FWD at the very worst

TU Roughead –> Jacobs (Some other Ruck under 488k) e.g. Ryder, McEvoy
    Eddy –> Parsons
    ITB 8k
TD Trade Greene not worth holding

T/D Black is Black unless it’s Parsons

  48. am i pulling the trigger to early on this one?
    OUT: Otten and Hampton
    IN: Howe and EVW

    TU: Yes
    TD: No

  49. Went double down last week with Fisher and Balic which leaves me with some options. But have some worrying BE’s along with Parfitt who is injured.
TU: double up: Butler and Otten > Simpson and Buddy

    TD: 1 up 1 down: Parfitt and Marchbank> Simpson/Buddy and Parsons/EVW

I could double down again but I feel like my team will be on the weak side.

  50. t/u: parfitt OUT s.higgins IN (do you all rate higgins as a top6 FWD?

t/d: parfitt OUT j.parsons IN (just to keep cash chugging along)

will have 25 trades left after this move

    4
  51. Otten -> Hibberd
    Parfitt -> Heeney

T/U: Great move, bold move, both potential top 6-10 DEF/FWDs at a bargain price
T/D: Terrible move, too risky of a move, both are too injury prone, won’t be top 6-10 in their position etc etc

Any comments to talk some sense/back me up are appreciated…

    1. I am doing the exact same though I am going buddy instead of heeney..
also hold otten if you can and see if there is a similar player in price like mcgrath or marchbank cuz i think otten may average 10 ppg more than both

      1. Glad I am not the only one Matt and that is what is stopping me. I don’t really want to cull Otten but he is my only option to get the trade done.

  52. Trades this week:
    McMillan to Hibberd
    Hampton to EVW
    T/U good trades
    T/D bad trades
Holding onto Beams this week but leaves me with no midfield bench cover unless Barrett comes in (surely this must be his chance)

    1. not going to be a top 8-10 mid so you’ll have to trade him out at some stage anyway – might as well just do it now

      1. Only 100k up to Pendles if you don’t have him, you’ll need him eventually and you won’t get him much cheaper
