  1. Tu Parker to Young
    Td Gibson to Atley

Hate going early but what choice do we have this allows drursma up to Lloyd or Whitefield.

    Cheers team

    1. Cheers guys, heard else where (supercoach elites maybe or DRSC) that young is the pick this week for JS being a ready made mature ager.

Lets all hope Danger gets named or i might be going moore over parker out just to field a side grrrr

  2. Very undecided this week, to trade Zac Williams or not?
If not, I can bring in a Whitfield for Hore. Was also considering Blakely (Freo) Was in a lot of teams before his pre season injury and know’s how to find the footy.
IF I go Blakely that allows me to also upgrade Drew to Boak in the FWD line.

    1

    8
    1. Because Blakely didn’t start the season, he is now priced at 10% above his expected output, because the blessed number had dropped from 5483 to 5010 (give or take). It might also take him a couple of weeks to hit his straps having only played two WAFL games prior to senior selection last week.

For those reasons, I’d put him on your Watchlist for another week and see how it looks then. Nothing to lose. Heaps to (potentially) gain.

      10

      2
      1. The magic number is a constant @ $5428. Blakely is priced @ 85.1 average.

The percentage reductions to the weekly price calculations this year have varied from 1.01% to 2.0% well down on last year where they were constantly above the 2% mark.

Should Blakely score 95 points in his next two games he will be about his starting price. Now is the time to jump on Blakely if you think he is destined for the midfield even though he has the round 12 bye.

  3. O’Brien to Young
    Duursma to Hurn
    Leaves 70k in bank

Next week focus on clearing Parker and Drew from my Bench

TU Yes – get Hurn while still cheap
TD No – double down the spent rookies to build cash for future

      1. You would need a ruck forward in your forward line to dpp him back go ruck and select young

    1. Scans come back today.

In a way, I want it to be definitive. If it’s “1-2 weeks” that puts us in tough spot as to whether or not we should trade him. If it’s more than 2 weeks I won’t feel bad about it.

        1. GUN SMALL defender Zac Williams has been ruled out of Greater Western Sydney’s clash with Melbourne on Sunday, but vice-captain Stephen Coniglio and Aidan Corr are both a chance to return at the MCG.

Williams, who strained his left hamstring in the second quarter of the Giants’ 93-point demolition of Carlton on Sunday and played no further part in the match, could miss a couple of games.

          https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-05-22/giants-lose-speedster-but-two-absentees-may-return

A couple of games could be 3 or 4 with the way GWS has been in regards to injury timelines.

          4

  4. Need both these guys in asap, but which one to bring in this week???

    TU: Neale
    TD: Whitfield

    Thanks!

      1. He must have a Bines type in the forward line to swing into R3, and a Setters type in the mids to swing forward.

  5. Need to get rid of Parker, Duursma, Gibbons, Atkins in that order.
    Have 45K in the bank
    Do I:
    T/U: Parker -> Young & Duursma -> Houli
    T/D: Parker -> Young & O’Brien (via Bines DPP) -> Boak
Comment: O’Brien (via Bines) -> Young & Duursma -> Lloyd
    Or anything else… 🙂

    1. Melbourne will put some time into Whit like they did last year. He might have a tough day at the office.

      1

      0
  6. Bit of a PoD with Walsh probably unlikely to hit his BE from now.

    Walsh – Wallis
    Brayshaw – Sidebottom

    TU – sounds good
    TD – sounds bad

  7. What to do with Zac Williams?

GUN SMALL defender Zac Williams has been ruled out of Greater Western Sydney’s clash with Melbourne on Sunday, but vice-captain Stephen Coniglio and Aidan Corr are both a chance to return at the MCG.

  8. Bit left field… Matthew Broadbent at 261k and should avg 80-85 ppg. Thought as a stepping stone or D7 with minimal safe rookies?

    11

    10
  9. Out: Moore and Williams
    In: Greene and Whitfield

18 trades left after these. All or nothing to maintain my top 20 spot.

    T/U – Go for it
T/D – Save your trades and upgrade rookies first

    17

    19
    1. Whats your reasoning with Greene had some midtime do u expect to continue?

Anyone? He always plays well in midfield is it looking permanent?

      1

      0
      1. Yes. I’m thinking GWS have a pretty good run home. Greene has been playing midfield and has a high ceiling. He’s had a few games back so I’m hoping he’d ready to really hit his straps. Am aware of the flog factor and downside but upside could be huge.

  10. Do I…
T/U – Trade Williams to Whitfield (Having to field Duursma, Hore and J Clark)

T/D – Hold Williams and upgrade Duursma to Fyfe/Duncan

    6

    16
  11. Parker to Young allows me one up,one down..
    TU Constable to Macrae
    TD Moore/Duursma to Whitfield

  12. This week:
    – Parker to young
    – Gibbons to Hinge through DPP
    Next week:
    – Darcy Moore to Sicily
    – Petruccelle to Boak
Keen to get Sicily and Boak in but need to free up some cash which is why going the double downgrade, is it too risky getting two rookies after one game or does it need to be taken.
    Thoughts?

    4

    7
  13. this week
    parker > whitfield
    o’brien > mundy
need to drop 8 trades over the next 4 weeks & clean out the dead rookie wood
double downgrade next week , probably walsh & dursma

    4

    2
  14. Too much carnage this week no matter what I do I’m gonna have doughnuts, so think I’m just gonna not trade this week and let the carnage happen

    4

    5
  15. I’m thinking of going early on ROB to get some cash to upgrade the fwd line.

    ROB > Young (Via Bines)
    Petrucelle > Boak

    Frees up 130k

I’d like to get Hurn in but current backline is Lloyd,Whitfield,Laird,Williams,BSmith and Hore. So dependent on Williams injury I might delay the fwd upgrade and swap Williams for Hurn and the $$ leftover will be used next week on the fwd line.

t/u If going early on ROB is a good idea
t/d wait for the byes. I have Grundy/Goldy at R1,R2

    Cheers

    6

    6
    1. yeh ,
holding ROB through the byes as bench cover is not worth it ,
if your running with gawn/grundy that is ,
will only fill 1 onfield spot over 3 bye weeks , ( bye 2 )
better to get the value now ,
wont go up that much more anyway , with a BE of around 85 ,
      bird in the hand

      6

      0
      1. Yeah I see your point. Will need approx 130k to upgrade Goldy to Gawn eventually.

Going to play the waiting game with Williams now. If his out anything between 2-4 weeks I’ll bring Hurn in and upgrade Petrucelle next week. Will have 400k bank plus his value so either looking at Boak or Mundy to trade in.

        1

        0
  16. hoping they bring danger back after his bye ,
will be cheap & fresh ,
fit enough to build a solid midfield base running into the finals ,
would be the perfect time to bring him back into my team
& would give constable a few more games before trading him out also , never know with the cats this year

  17. Need some help please….

TU: O Brien and Gibbons out
    Neale and Fort in

TD: D Moore and Gibbons out
    Hurn and Atley in

    Cheers

    5

    10
  18. My bench cover is noah answerth and burgess worse players to play supercoach, missing zac williams and darcy moore in backline so im doing zac williams to Jonathon marsh then darcy moore to silicy

  19. 230k and 19 trades :/

DEF: hurn sicily williams BSmith rozee duursma ( clark answerth)

MID: Cripps Fyfe treloar Oliver MCrouch TKelly Brayshaw Walsh ( Scott Atkins setters)

    RUCK: Gawn ROB (bines)

FWD: danger Dunkley Cameron heeney Moore* larkey (MLewis Burgess)

    I’m thinking the following:
    Walsh -> macrae
    Moore -> Marshall

    Gives me two genuine keepers

    Open to other suggestions:)
Would double down next week before the byes

    9

    2
  20. Our best laid plans and strategies fly out the window when the teams drop on Thursday.
Hately and Rotham with great negative break evens but no js and one game rookies trying to suck us in also with no js.
Then we’ve got premos with injuries with no bench cover, limited trades, limited dollars and carnage stalking us every weekend.
    I love this game!

    15

    1
  21. Was going to bring Lloyd in via ROB but now have Moore and Williams definitely out and Danger and MCrouch highly unlikely.

TU – stick to plan and try to cover
    TD – trade Moore-Lloyd instead
    Comment – trade Williams-Lloyd instead

  22. Can someone please tell me why I can’t see breakevens or projected scores without paying for SUPERCOACH STATS for almost 20 bucks. In contrast, my mate still can see all breakevens and past stats without paying.

    0

    4
    1. Don’t be a stinge, just pay the $20.
The amount of time I spend each season using the SuperCoach site, $20 is nothing for the value it brings.

  24. Mid-price FWD thoughts?

    TU: T Greene, $362k, 63BE, 47 & 106 last 2wks – Melb & Suns next 2 weeks
    TD: S Edwards, $395k, 34BE, 94 & 108 last 2wks – Ess & Norf to come…

  25. With Collins and Moore injured I’m
    Looking at going the following
    trades.

    Collins >Hinge
Darcy Moore >Z Merrett via Duursma.

    6

    1
  26. Who do I downgrade Collins for?

    Tu hinge
    Td Joyce

Are there better options for the backline?

    4

    4
  27. Have decided to keep Libba, Walsh and O’Brien until after the byes…(unless they are dropped)…figuring its all about JS even though I’ll take a hit $$$ wise

    TU: Sound strategy
    TD: You’re a d!ckhead

    16

    3
    1. just realized he has the rd 13 bye.
will probs just keep watching him and pick up after bye if he is still tracking well.

      4

  28. depending on team selections tomorrow night of course, but thinking of doing the following trade.

    Moore > Young
    &
    Drew > Mundy

will still have 145,800 in the bank for next week.

    2

    8
  29. The question we all want to know.

ZAC WILLIAMS, on the latest article regarding his injury on the gws website they have said “could miss at least a couple of weeks” with that we can assume its a 3-4 week injury, so..

    TU: Hold
    TD: Trade

    15

    7
  30. Whats everyones plans for the bye rounds?
Rookies are looking more and more unlikely to keep their spots
Should I hold the likes of Gibbons & Duursma until after the bye?
At least I know they will play, where as rookies such as answerth and hayes
worry me as they could get dropped any moment.

    Appreciate any feedback…

    2

    1
  31. With Daniher looking like he could be out for the year, does that bring Begley into the frame to play out the year? I’m thinking he could be a good pick up as a bench option at roughly $160k

    0

    6
  32. Hey SC Legends.

T/U- Williams & Walsh to Whitfield & Boak.

T/D- Hold Williams. Only do Walsh to Boak

    Thanks.

    4

    9
  33. Considering the following trades. Will leave 21 trades and $56K
    Duursma to Whitfield
    Baker to Young
Obviously still waiting for teams to be announced

    TU: Yay
    TD: Nay

    3

    0
  34. I’ll have to trade out again, or else I will have doughnuts

    OUT – Moore and Constable
IN -Wills and Merrett (through moving Duursma into the backline)

    3

    2
    1. Look at your bye structure. I was short of a RD 14 bye premium mid and brought in James Kelly for Constable.

      0

      0
  35. Moore > Whitfield (via DPP)
    Constable > Young

“Hopefully” either Setterfield/Parker will cover for Danger.

    1

    0
  36. Absolute carnage! Been having my best season at about 3k rank. This week it all falls apart. Might need to go early on Young (in for Robb via dpp with Bines and have Lobb in fwd line) and get Neale for Drew to avoid donuts. Just wish we knew about Hately and Stocker. Bloody Sunday games.. ha

    0

    0
  37. Oh no…selection nightmare – crouch, danger, Williams, Moore, collins, Hayes…

The plan was duursma/libba to hinge/macrae. But to field a half decent team this week, am thinking Collins/moore to hinge/boak.

    T/U: duursma/libba to hinge/macrae
    T/D: Collins/Moore to hinge/boak

    Cheers

    1

    5
  38. Y can’t I make this move?
Answerth (D/M) from MID to DEF,
Moore (D/F) from DEF to FWD &
Setterfield (F/M) from FWD to MID

    3

    0
    1. You need a DPP in the position you’re trying to move the player to.
ie. You can’t move a mid to defence without moving a defender to mid.

      0

      1
      1. I’ll paste it here as well.

        Try this.
Trade Answerth, move Setters to mid, move Moore to fwd, Trade in any defender X.
        Now trade X to Answerth.
I think you get your trades negated (ie. zero trades used). Reverse trades if it doesn’t work.

        3

        0
            1. Complete the first trade, then use the second to trade defender X back to Answerth. Your trades will be ‘refunded’ 🙂

              2

              0
  39. What non-playing rookie should go?

    TU Constable
    TD Hayes

I know Hayes has only made $80K, but he is out this week, only has one game after that until his bye. Might have to go? At least Constable’s bye is later – he might get a valuable game or two during the byes and better scoring potential if so?

    3

    7
  40. Staring down the barrel of a donut in the midfield with Constable, Hayes, B. Scott and M. Crouch not listed as playing..

Thoughts on the below with 140k in the bank:

    TU
    OUT – Constable & Drew
    IN – Macrae & R. Young

    TD
    OUT – Constable & Drew
    IN – J. Lloyd (dpp) & R. Young

    Comment
    Other options i.e. other rookie..

    Thanks team!

    10

    2
    1. Had exactly the same question. Boils down to Macrae or Lloyd. Going with the TU on Macrae. If Williams is out next week he’s going to Lloyd or Hurn.

      0

      0
  41. HELP – Need to trade out either
TU: Gibbons – this leaves me with no mid emergency and the risk of having Setterfield and Stocker both on field, and a donut if either doesn’t make the cut on Sunday, OR
TD: Constable – this gives me a mid emergency of either Stocker , Gibbons or Setterfield, with the other 2 on field

    3

    4
  42. If Hately is named, thinking of trading out Parker and moving Setterfield to the FWD line so I can get Hately. If this works out then going Drew to Boak. Only concern is Hately’s job security (if he’s selected). Thoughts?

    T/up – Yes, do it

T/down – No, trade to another rookie or wait another week on boak

    4

    3
  43. Evening All. Wisest trade?

    T/U- ROB > Fort, J Clark > Lloyd.

    T/D- Williams to Lloyd

    22 Trades left. Thanks.

    10

    1
  44. Is Williams to lloyd a worthwhile trade? (I have 24 in hand) but also have danger, m crouch, moore and 4 non playing rookies in the mids this week….

    4

    5
  45. Easy vote here lads.
TU: Libba (starting mid this week) to rockliff.

    TD: Williams to Whitfield

    5

    4
      1. Whys that my guy?
Do you think williams is worth benching for 3-4 (most likely 4 weeks?)

        1

        3
  46. Williams > Hurn
    Rob > Young

340k left over for next weeks upgrade?

T/u Worth trading out Williams to Hurn
T/d Hold him and upgrade somewhere else with Rob cash

    1

    6
  47. who’s more of a necessity to bring in this week?

    TU – Whitfield $556,400 (BE 117)
    TD – J.Kelly $615,300 (BE 82)

which one is less likely to miss any games?

Kelly’s price is high but with a BE of 83 is it better to get him now?

    Cheers.

    11

    1
    1. I was going Whit all week but have changed to Kelly yesterday as the mids are my weakest line. Also worried about Whit being tagged. Now watch the tag go to Kelly instead.

      1

  48. For this week only. Who scores highest SC?

    T/U: L Franklin against Pies
    T/D: J Billings against Blues

    3

    11
  49. Need to trade out 2 of Constable, ROB and Drew, ideally bringing in Young as a forward and a premium. Best premiums to bring in this week please? Can get any position thanks to duals.

    2. Hurn
    3. Lloyd
    4. Boak

  50. hi guys, Im ranked 414th overall 24 trades left so should i

Trade Zac williams – Hrun, Gibbons – Hatley if named
    or
Trade D moore – Dunkley and Gibbons – Hatley if named & field Answerth in defence and bench williams.
    Please help!
    Cheers.
Or maybe williams – Crisp and Moore – Dunckley

  51. As posted on the R10 AFL Teams…

How long can we expect Moore, Williams and Dangerfield to be out for?

    0

    0
  52. Won’t be able to field 22 barring a miracle,

TU: RoB to Young & Ross to Sloane (Hope Constable is a late in to make 22)

TD: RoB to Young & Constable to Macrae (Hope Scott is a late in to make 22)

    0

    2
  53. Holding trades until teams announced. I need 1 of Drew, Constable, Parker, Scott or Setters to be named as starting, otherwise it’s a donut. I’m thinking my chances of 1 out of 5 emergencies getting a start are pretty good??

    2

    0
  54. I really need some advice.

Def – Whitfield, Lloyd, Ryan, Williams, Hore, Duursma (Clark, Answerth)

Mid – J Kelly, Cripps, Fyfe, Macrae, Bont, M Crouch, Steele, Gibbons (Hayes, Scott, Stocker)

    Ruck – Gawn, ROB (Bines)

Fwd – T Kelly, Danger, Heeney, Baker, Balta, Petrucelle (Drew, Setterfield)

I need to bench Crouch and Williams this week so I need a trade that gives me as much pts as possible. I think Drew to Young is the best $$ making trade which leaves me with $260k to upgrade with. What’s my best option??? If anyone has suggestions they’d be much appreciated, I’m really stuck.

    0

    0
  55. ROB to Fort
    Miers to Young

Would leave $600,000 for double upgrade next week.

    T/U – Good trades
T/D – Hold ROB and Miers to the byes

    5

    2
  56. T/U moore to marsh williams to silicy
T/D moore to marsh constable to mcrae

My bench cover is pretty crap would have to play burgees or answerth on field and bench williams i think Williams will miss 2-3 weeks aswel

    10
  57. Do I:
T/U – Trade Clark to Whitfield (Fielding a doughnut)
    OR
T/D – Trade Ross to Stewart (Full 22)

Am $800 off Ross to Whitfield…

    0

    8
    1. Plan to go Clark to Whitfield next week, hoping he doesn’t surpass $560,000.
What does everyone think he will score this week and therefore what will his price be next week?

      0

      0
  58. Not much love out there for Stewart???
Pretty decent scores thus far of 95,120,108,124,78,98,102,94 & 114

    4

    0
    1. I’ll be trading him in, but not until after the R13 bye round, got too many premiums out that week.

      0

      0
  59. Can do Gibbons and Hore -> R. Young and Whitfield with exactly 0 left in the bank.
Is it worth trading now? Hore will surely rise more this week but I could lose a potential big game from Whitfield. Will leave me with only 18 trades left

    0

    2
    1. Whitfield was tagged against the Dees last year and scored 61. His BE is 117, so even if he does play well his price won’t change much. I think you need to keep Hore until the byes, he’s one of the few reliable rookie scorers right now.

      1

      4
  60. I cant afford to do moore to marsh constable to mcrae like 10 short should i do williams to marsh then constable to mcrae and play one of answerth or burgess on field for darcy moore

  62. Everyone seems to be jumping on Young, but how secure is his spot for the next 5 weeks? Would it be worth punting on Bewley instead in terms of job security? Or even risking that Hind may get a call up over the byes?

    1. It’s a tough one. With Long back in (for Paton-managed) this week, I see one of Parker, Long and Young making way when he comes back. He’s been in good form but needs a rest. Jimmy Webster’s also likely back next week but you’d think for Marsh given Port’s lack of true tall FWDs atm.
      Like I say, it’s a tough one.
Bewley on the other hand will not have a price change til after his bye, so I wouldn’t be looking at him or Hind right now. Do you have DPP options to bring in say Hinge or ANO?
I’m praying Setterfield is a late IN so I don’t have to pull the trigger for Young. But will if I have/need to.
Then again, if my overall is looking respectable enough come tomorrow lunchtime, I may just cop it sweet. Mmmmm donuts!! 🙂

      1. Setterfield out forces me to make a trade to avoid a 0.
Due to my low bank, I’m tossing up between:
        Constable+Parker – Bewley+BCrouch, and
        Constable+O’Brien – Bewley+Macrae/Whitfield
Bewley could easily become Young by DPP. And I’m avoiding Hinge due to the bye.
Also I was originally planning to hold ROB for another week as he could easily demolish WCE this week.
By the way, who is ANO?

  63. If I use two trade I can avoid a donut.

    1) Ross to Whitfield via Answerth DPP. He goes to M9 with the E, to cover Constable on field.
    2) Drew to Young.

Which meas I may end up keeping ZacW. Can’t trade him this week, double downgrade next week. Probably silly to trade after that. Hoping he ends up coming good!
