  1. Was planning to trade M Hore but now will likely keep him hopefully as a D6/D7.

Trade options for this round are:
TU: Out: N Answerth, T Atkins, L Baker, In: R Gray, B Bewley and J Dunkley
Complete forwards of Danger, T Kelly, J Dunkley, I Heeney, R Gray and J Westhoff.

TD: Out: N Answerth, T Atkins, B Smith, In: R Gray, D Clarke, L Ryan
Def complete consisting of Lloyd, Laird, Ryan, Williams, Andrews and Hore.

Either way will have 19 playing for RD13.

      1. Cash and trades situation won’t permit which is why R Gray has been selected and prefer Dunkley over T Boak.

        4

        6
        1. I’m in the same position. Would love to get Boak in as my last fwd but am going to go Gray because the extra 100k is indispensable to complete other lines with so few fat cows.

          2

          0
  2. Bewley (Freo) and Gardner (Dogs) if they play into my team this week looking at 1100 SC points, problem not many good rookies available this week. Got 12 players available this week with Cripps will be the most popular C this week I would think

    1. gardiner should have good JS
WB need to blood fwds & @ least he makes a contest for WB 15 midfielders

  3. This is what I’m thinking for this week:

    OUT: Clark, Answerth, Baker

    IN: Gardner, Ryan, Sicily

This almost completes my backline (depends if we count Hore as D6 or not), leaving me with 9 trades and one MID spot left to upgrade.

Then, in the later round if I have no injuries, I can upgrade some of the stragglers to proper premos (i.e Hore, Steele, Worpel etc.)

    Thoughts?

  4. Hypothetically, if for some reason you could only have one, who would you rather have for the remainder of the season?

    TU: Grundy
    TD: Gawn

    45

    68
  5. Keeping the value of having extra numbers across the byes in mind, what combination of players would you rather have for the remainder of the season?

TU: One of Gawn/Grundy, Goldstein, and Sicily
    TD: Gawn, Grundy, and Hore

    1. I’m getting concerned about Grundy’s ankle.
Future doughnuts (1-2) to come before end of season….IMO

      1. Not too much of an issue for me, as I have Lycett in my forward line, but it’s certainly something for those without cover to think about.

        1

    1. In no particular order of preference
      A Gaff, M Bontempelli, R Sloane, C Oliver, M Crouch and A Brayshaw.

      9

      1
      1. reckon Oliver has highest ceilingand will always get 90 odd cause of his contested possesions….if his de is over 70…his score rockets. Bont probably gives a less rocky ride.

  6. Trade out:
    Balta, Sheed & Clark

    Trade in:
    C. Daniel, Bont, Naish

This will complete my forward line of
Danger, Heeney, Kelly, Dunkley, Boak , Daniel

    My def is also complete
Hurn, Houli, Whitfield, Williams, Lloyd, Smith & Hore as a D7

Will need 2 more mids after bont looking at Neale and as one

    11

  7. Answerth > Bewley
    Balta > Dunkely

Will have 20 on the field this week.

Next week the plan is to downgrade ROB and

    Goldstein > Grundy
    Brodie Smith > Luke Ryan

    7

    3
  8. Out: Answerth, Clark & Balta (would’ve loved him to have a low BE)

In: Bewley, R. Gray & Boak

  9. Sorry guys, I’m commenting again.

    Thoughts on this:

    Trading out Atkins, Petruccelle, Answerth
    Trading in Merrett, Bewley, Ryan

This would leave me with this 12 trades and this team:

Hurn, Lloyd, Ryan, Williams, B Smith, Milera (Hore, Duursma)
Fyfe, Neale, Cripps, Macrae, Merrett, B Crouch, M Crouch, Walsh (Stack, Bewley, Ross)
    Gawn, Goldstein (Bines)
Kelly, Dangerfield, Boak, Daniel, Moore, Baker (Corbett, Young)

  10. Alright, gonna press the attack and continue with the my previously laid trade plans. Ranked 3,157 currently.

    So, this week:

    Atkins -> Bewley
    Whitfield -> Sicily
    Answerth -> Dunkley

Rationale: I need to drop 2 R13 players, Dunkley is sure to be a Top 6 FWD if he continues to get midfield time and Sicily seems to be the best option down back out of the defenders coming off their bye.

Leaves me with 78k and 11 trades.

    Thoughts?

For reference, here’s my team pre-trades:

DEF: Hurn, Lloyd, Houli, Whitfield, Ryan, Hore, Burgess & Stewart

MID: J. Kelly, Fyfe, Cunnington, Macrae, Cripps, Oliver, Walsh, Duursma, Atkins, Answerth & T. Watson (loophole)

RUC: Gawn, Grundy & Sweet (loophole)

FWD: Dangerfield, Boak, Heeney, Darling, Baker, Setterfield, Corbett & Gardner

    17

  11. Which downgrade option is best?

    TU:
    Clark > Gardner
    Scott > Bewley

    TD:
    Clark > Naish
    Atkins > Bewley

    25

    4
    1. Then should upgrade:

TU: Atkins > Boak (Setterfield DPP)

      TD: Corbett > Boak

Only have 16 playing if I trade Corbett

      1

      2
  12. I want to trade out three players being J. Clark, Answerth and maybe a B.Scott, but I cannot figure a way to do it whilst maximising players on field. Anyone have any idea on what I should do to achieve this most effectively? Or if there is any other of combination of players I should trade based on my team below. Have 133k in bank (All players on my bench have bye)

    Def: Laird, Sicily, Z.Williams, B. Smith, X. Duursma , C Burgess [J.LLloyd, J.Clark]

    Mid: P Cripps, J. Macrae, M.Crouch, S. Walsh, T. Liberatore, W Setterfield, B. Scott , N. Answerth (Bye) [L. Neale, C. Oliver, O. Baker]

Rucks : Z.Clarke, Grundy (Bye) [Gawn]

    Fwd: Dunkley, J. Cameron, L. Baker, J. Corbett, R. Young , P Dangerfield (Bye) [T.Kelly, Heeney]

    Thanks 🙂

    1. Try Clark, Scott and Baker for Gardner, Bewley, and Gray………..then swap Duursma with Answerth…….but be advised this info is from someone who has pendles and cogs in their team.

      3

  13. Do you guys think Robbie Gray can average 90+ for the rest of the season?

TU: Take Robbie Gray at F6 @ 405k (should have enough money for two upgrades in R14)
TD: Spend 500k for Boak, Daniel, Mundy, etc. (but will only have enough money for 1 upgrade in R14)

My other FWD premos are Dunkley, Danger, T.Kelly, Heeney, Worpel.

    14

    13
  14. Hey guys, this is my team. How can I improve after or even during the bye-rounds? My defense clearly needs a lot of improvements just don’t know how to do it. I currently only have 23K with 14 trades remaining.

    Def:
Hurn, Lloyd, Houli, Hore, Clark, Answerth, (Gardner, Watson)

    Mid:
Fyfe, Bont, Neale, Cripps, Treloar, Coniglio, Walsh, O.Baker (Gibbons, Setterfield, Scott)

    Fwd:
Kelly, Dangerfield, Heeney, M.Robinson, Boak, Baker (Larkey, R.Young)

    Ruc:
    Gawn, Grundy (Flynn)

    2

    2
  15. Brayshaw/Hore: Out
    Sicily/Boak: In
TU: bring in the premos (will help my rd13 bye)
    TD: bad idea
    Cheers guys

  16. oliver ts tempting @ 539 k
    6 of 8 tons including a 175 & a BE of 85
don’t know if i could handle another premo failure though

    18

  17. Was planning on upgrading Drew>Boak, however I need to get rid of Corbett because his BE is too high and he’s at a price where he’s too cheap to get a suitable upgrade(Mundy, Jezza etc) and there are no downgrade fwd options(already have Gardner). Should I sideways trade Corbett to a Setterfield or Josh Bruce whose BE is low and can make me cash for a few weeks and upgrade them later on, or stick to Drew>Boak this week and just let Corbett lose money and make it even harder to upgrade him later?(him and Drew are my only viable upgrade targets)

  18. Interested to hear people’s thoughts on Ziebell, am looking to finalise my last forward spot (was always going to be Boak), but when played in the guts Ziebell offers better value than Boak and has got me thinking??

    1. I’d wait for the injury report on Higgins. You should expect him to see a lot more time in the middle if Higgins misses weeks and could pay off.

      6

      0
      1. Totally agree. With Higgins out for 4-6 it almost guarantees he stays in the middle for that long at least.
Underpriced for that you’d think but make sure you’re prepared for the worst (ie sell or F7) later on in the season. That just means having trades up your sleeve or enough depth.
He and Shaw seem to be on the same page tho so I feel he’ll likely hold his spot there anyway. Would love to hear RB’s and other North fans’ views on this.
Previous history says he’s priced about right for what we might expect, but NTH are playing a more SC-friendly game than in the past so there may be upside?!
Shame about the imminent bye and his BE, but again if you’ve decent cover for that …

        1

    1. Think Naish might be unlucky if Ellis is back this week. Hopefully they give him another go and give Balta the flick?!

      0
    1. Sensational !!! If you have the trades in hand, go for it !!! My memory is most overall winners come to the fore late in the season with trades in hand. Shame Hore would have to go…do you have def cover for after the byes ?

  19. Hypothetically,
if I was to go early on a rookie this week, out of the 2, who has the best job security?

    TU – Gardner
    TD – Clarke

    21

    4
  20. Thoughts on Gresham? Been good the past two weeks and AFL.com have rated the Saints as having the easiest remaining draw.

    2

    7
    1. I wouldn’t. Rate him but with Hanners maybe not far off and Steven on leave with expected return anything from a week to next season, to never, I just think it’s too big a risk given he’ll likely get less MID-minutes in either/both scenario(s).

      1

      0
      1. Ive had him since the start…….kinda gotta hold him now and hope his good recent form stays. Bringing him in is a more tricky thing.

        1

        0
  21. Currently have 19 players, INCLUDING Gardner, Stocker, Young
Should I trade Oskar Baker to Bewley?
    TU: yes
    TD: no

    1

    28
  22. Will Luke Ryan average 100 from here out (current average of 104.5), with Alex Pearce out?
    TD: yes
    TD: no

    26

    6
    1. I know he has a low BE but I worry that if Logue isn’t up to Pearce’s role, then Ryan may be charged with being more accountable.
I think it’s unlikely, but just wanted to make you aware of my minor concern.

      2

  23. So far have done:
    Trade out Clark, stack, darling
    Trade in Gardner, fyfe, gray

    Team is

Laird, Sicily, Ryan, Williams, crisp duursma, answerth, Gardner

Fyfe, cripps, merret , macrae, m.crouch, yeo neale, Walsh, gibbons, baker, Clarke

    Gawn, Grundy, bines

Danger, dunks, Kelly, boak, gray, Cameron, baker, young

Next week will move heaven and earth to bring in llyod. Want to keep a player with job security on bench in each line. So plan to keep duursma d7, baker f7, gibbons/walsh m9
Baker could become the Hoff next week as f7 and ruck cover.

Would leave me with 8 trades if I use 3 this week. With a mid and llyod in defence to upgrade

    3

    0
      1. Yep. Gardner came in last week for some cash generation. I’ve still got 17 trades, so I’m not overly concerned about using them.

        1

        0
  24. Wanting to bring in J Sicily this week, originally had plans to trade out Hore due to Melb having the bye this week, however he seems a possible keeper.
On the other hand, Brodie Smith looks like he needs to go, although adelaide play this week. Questions is…. who do I trade out for Sicily?

    TU – Marty Hore

    TD – Brodie Smith

    4

    28
    1. If you’re thinking of that upgrade you must have a strong team. Surely you’ve got other fish to fry on other lines?

      2

      3
    2. I have both and am keeping both for now, maybe forever!
Wouldn’t be bad for D6/7 with Gardner as a loophole when he’s dropped 😉
I agree with RB. I’d be looking at other lines unless you’re already at FULL!

  25. Thoughts on selling Grundy? Sounds absurd, but hear me out…

This huge cash injection allows me to sell Grundy, L. Baker and Clark, swing Lycett to the ruck and bring in Gray, Dunkley and Sicily. Leaving me with 14 trades, $103,700, XXX players this round and the team as:

Def:Hurn, Lloyd, Sicily, Williams, Andrews, Hore (B. Smith, Answerth)
Mid: Fyfe, Neale, Cripps, Macrae, Oliver, B. Crouch, Libba, Duursma (Bewley, Setterfield, Rowbottom)
    Ruck: Goldy, Lycett (Bines)
Fwd: Kelly, Dunkley, Danger, Heeney, Billings, Gray (Begley, Young)

Then in coming weeks, sell Libba and Duursma etc who have a bit to grow, whilst Grundy potentially falls 100k, before bringing him back in.

2800th overall, having dropped 1600 spots last round 🙁 but trades in hand

    Thoughts?

    15

    13
    1. Just think it will cost you 40pts/week during his absence that’s all. I’d actually keep Baker this week and trade out Answerth instead of Grundy and get another warm body onfield. Answerth only stands to make another $12k over the next 4 weeks if he isn’t dropped sooner. Not worth holding. For any reason.

      2

      0
      1. Then grundy comes back and smashes out 2 x 140 and drops about 30 k or so and you think how do i get him back in!

        0

        0
    2. I’m usually a fan of clever plans like this, but keep in mind that Grundy’s next game is against the Bulldogs – his price may not end up falling as much as you think.

      1

      0
      1. Totally agree…I was thinking of holding off the Goldy (thank you for your services) to Grundy trade an extra week, as I still have rob and gawn. But, I remember what gawn did to the doggies a few weeks back and rested up, Grundy should do the same.

        0

        0
  26. One of these needs to go this week, to generate the cash needed to finally trade in Fyfe

    TU: Trade out Hore
    TD: Trade out Duursma

    7

    20
  27. Looks like I’ll have the bare 18 this week, so trades will focus on next week. Cash is at a premium with $104k in the bank, but 19 trades left. Thinking:

    Setterfield/Balta to Gardner/Dunkley

I would have preferred to trade out Corbett than setterfield (who’s got another price jump in him), but can’t afford the upgrade then. And of course going a week early on Gardner isn’t ideal (says the bloke with Mitchell Hinge sitting on his bench). Fwd line will then be complete.
    So…

  28. Can everyone help rank the FWD options Under $498500?

Marshall, Zeibell, Daniel, Walters, any others?

    Thanks 🙂

    1. Looking at the same decision…Walters dpp gets the nod. Now very reliable too. Hope he keeps kicking clutch late goals !!

    Out – Clark, Balta, Parker
    In – Ryan, Gardner, Boak

  30. Thinking…..with 17 trades in hand.
    1. Hore into Sicily (already have Hurn, Ryan, Williams, Lloyd and Duursma at 6)
    2. J Clarke into Naish ( would need to go early but only really need him playing this week)
    3. Setters into premo or Corbett into 420kish F5 with Burgess sitting at F6 till round 14 upgrade.

    TU: Sounds like a plan
    TD: Reconsider

    1

    5
  31. L. Whitfield, J.Clarke,J. Petruccelle > D.Rich,L.Ryan,R.Gardner

    Regardless of the bye
    2,700K left in the bank.

    1

    2
  32. 12 trades left.

Lobb for Darling based on more consistency and the fact that Lobb DPP and I can use as ruck cover if Gawn/Goldy (Bines) miss.

    T/U – good trade.
    T/D – unnecessary and wasteful.

    11
    1. Not sure if this is suggesting trade OUT darling and IN lobb? Rory Lobb is out with stress fractures for an extended period…

      2

  33. Lloyd, Williams, Laird, Smith, Hore, Duursma, B: Clark, Answerth
Neale, Fyfe, Macrae, Cripps, Cognilio, B Crouch, Walsh, Liberatore, B: Baker, Hately, Scott
    Grundy, Gawn B: Bines
Kelly, Boak, Dangerfield, Westhoff, Settersfield, Corbett B: Young Burgess

137k and 19 trades – Below assuming Naish and Garder are named…
Out Noah Answerth Jordan Clark Joshua Corbett
In Patrick Naish Ryan Gardner Josh Dunkley

    TU Looks good

      In Luke Ryan, Ryan Gardner
      Out Jordan Clark Joshua Corbett

      1. One final option..

In Ryan Gardner, Brett Bewley, Josh Dunkley
Out Jordan Clark, Bailey Scott, Joshua Corbett

Or is Scott a waste of a trade?

        6

  34. Brought in Laird and Caleb Daniel last week (worked for my bye structure).

Will go 2 down, 1 up this week and then 2 up next week. Leaves me with 10 trades and Hore at D6 and Walsh at M8 who have more cash to make. I play for league so happy to max them out before upgrading.

    RD13
    Out: Clark, Answerth, Atkins
In: Naish, Bewley, Luke Ryan / Sicily
    Will give me 18 players.

    RD14
    Out: Baker, Duursma
In: Boak, Luke Ryan / Sicily

  35. Gday guys, I’ve stuffed up my cash gen big time this season, meaning I’ll have to settle for a few less than ideal compromises to complete my team. If I want injury trades at the back end of the season, I’m gonna have to either keep Hore at D6 or Walsh at M8. Atm my options are: bring in Brayshaw cheap in the hope that he turns it around (shown some good signs past couple of games) and keep him at M8, with Hore at D6, or keep Walsh at M8 and upgrade Hore to Whitfield when he comes back. Keep in mind, Hore > Whitfield would mean I field both Hore and Walsh for longer and risk them scoring lower than what a premo might. Plus there’s the risk that Whitfield might be back later than expected.
TU: Hore > Whitfield (Walsh at M8)
TD: Walsh > Brayshaw (Hore at D6)

    3

    0
    1. Hey, Max. Have you considered not touching either of them? Options you’ve laid out aren’t that enticing.

If you already have Hurn and Lloyd (with most people trading out Whitfield), I’d be leaving Hore at D6. He’s scoring really well and will continue to make money, so I’d leave him for now. Probably not worth trading him to a defender who is only averaging 13 points~ more than him at this stage.

As for your Walsh/Brayshaw conundrum, I honestly think Walsh is going to outscore Brayshaw for at least the next month. Carlton have a string of games where they’ll hope to be competitive (Dogs, Freo, Dees, Swans & Suns) and keeping Walsh in the middle is going to be fundamental to that. Issue with Brayshaw is he only scores well when he’s played on the ball, as opposed to the wing, and the issue becomes will be able to secure that role? Whereas Walsh is always right in the guts.

Because of Cripps’ 194, a lot of people are forgetting just how good Walsh’s game was against Brisbane: 23 kicks to 9 handballs (amazing for SC), 81% DE, 14 CP’s and 12 marks. The only case to trade Walsh would be to an uber premo you don’t yet have, like Neale or J. Kelly.

      6

      1. Hey mate,
Cheers for the reply. Yeah I guess that makes more sense. Just feels a little weird to still have two ‘rookies’ onfield in a completed team, but you’re right, they’re both scoring well enough to be keepers atm. My worry with Walsh is that cos he’s a teenager, he’ll begin to tire towards season’s end. And IIRC he had a run of six games before the Brisbane game where he didn’t ton up. Not ideal from a keeper, but I guess he’s still averaging 90. Will assess how he goes the next few games, hopefully he keeps scoring well.

Regarding Hore, I was a little worried that the return of Lever would mean he got more of a lockdown role, but he still seems to be taking plenty of kicks ins and floating across packs as that spare defender. Fingers crossed he keeps it up. His great scoring is the reason why Whitfield is the only one I would consider upgrading him to, as it wouldn’t really be worth cashing him in for a bloke that only scores 10 more than him each game, whereas we know how big Whitfield can go.

In saying that though, you make complete sense with that assessment, and maybe I’ll turn my attention to turning Walsh into Jelly, as not having him these past few weeks has really killed me. Cheers again!

  36. Can I have a suggestion for a defender under 480k?

Thinking between: Weller – Blakely – Johannisen

  37. Only playing for league. Have a relatively easy match up this week, so tossing up two options:

TU: Clark/Constable/Moore > Sicily/Fyfe/Bewley (Field 19 if everyone plays, lose $ on Corbett/Balta but bank their points, $90.4k bank)

TD: Corbett/Balta/Clark > Bewley/Fyfe/Gardner (Field 17 if everyone plays, lower score, but avoid $ loss and leave $283.5k bank for upgrades next week)

  38. Stuck with whether to hold Hore as D6 or not. I currently have a defence of Hurn, Laird, Lloyd, Williams, Hore, Duursma

I can either trade out Hore this week and bring in Ryan, then later trade out Duursma to Sicily/Houli/etc or hold Horeas D6 and next week go Duursma to Ryan.

    T/U – Hore to Ryan
T/D – hold Hore for now, Answerth/Corbett to Naish (if named)

  40. Trades this week are Atkins to Naish via Duursma, Balta to Dunks leaving me with full premo fwd & Defence with Walsh and Duursma occupying the last midfield spots. May also trade answerth if i can’t get 18 on the park.

TU: Matty Parker against GC (80+ last time)

    TD: Setters against Bulldogs

    6
  44. So Liam Stocker is estimated to return 3-4 weeks on the afl injury page

    TU: Trade him out
    TD: Hold

    1. It was asked earlier. If you don’t have Bewley and he’s named, it’s a no-brainer.
You’d think he’ll need a game or two in the VFL when fit to be AFL-ready again. That’s too long to wait.

  45. I’ve re-adjusted my bye strategy. Grundy with the giant BE is not as big of a priority to bring in during the bye rounds, can wait for the week after.

    Balta > Boak
    Answerth > Bewley

This will leave me with 1 spot to upgrade in my MID/FWD lines.

    1. Grundy plays the Bulldogs next week – he could well make that BE. Even if he doesn’t, you’ll almost certainly be missing out on a monster score.

      1. Bang. I forgot that Stack had a low BE. Any marginal increase will make:

        Stack > Oliver
        Goldstein > Grundy

        A reality.

    2. I’m toying with the same strategy….with Gawn/Goldy/Rob(provided he’s not dropped), I have two rucks each round. Could hold off bringing in Grundy for a week, but even with that be, he could go 150 v dogs. Hate to hold off and lose leagues by narrow margins. The decision will probably come down to the look of oppt teams.

    1. I went TD but IF Clarke holds his spot with Shiel, Stringer and Orazio back, you’d think he’ll hold his spot. Woosha won’t commit right now …

      1. As a bombers fan, I totally agree. If Clarke selected, it will be ahead of a Langford/Guelfi/Laverde…he really looks a long term prospect.

  46. Neither B Scott or Answerth will be playing this week, so I will be trading out one or the other.
TU – Trade B Scott : can’t see him getting a game any time soon
TD – Trade Answerth : Av 54, BE 37 – can hold a little longer

Obviously trading out Answerth gives me an extra $64,200 for R14

  48. Hi all,

    Def:
Lloyd, Laird, Whitfield, Hore, Smith, Duursma, (Answorth, Clark )

    Mid:
J Kelly, Fyfe, Macrae, Cripps, B Crouch, Rocky, Walsh, Dangerfield, (hately, B Scott, Gibbons)

    Ruck:
    Grundy, Gawn (Z clarke)

    Fwds:
T Kelly, Dunkley, Greene, Baker, Moore, setterfield, (corbett, young)

    I have 18 trades and 90k INB.

I am considering Moore to Boak, J Clark to Gardiner or Naish.
Then possible Scott to Bewley….or even trading Whitfield to Ryan or Sicily.
Is everyone sure of trading Whit? Any reason to hold?

Anyone have suggestions for my team?

    1. Johnnyboy….

Moore to Boak and Clarke to Gardner/Naish (if they’re selected) sounds good.
I’d definitely be moving Whitfield into Sicily or Ryan! Whitfield could be out for…..the great GWS unknown?

By the way, with 18 trades in hand ou can afford 1 or 2 corrective trades if need be.

        1. I’ve always been a fan of Ryan as a player. He’s superb to watch. Hence, he’s in my team. I’ll be bringing in Sicily aswell this round or next. If you’re plan is to evenatully have them both (which would be a very good plan) I’d say take your pick with whatever suits your trades this week. Both will end up top 6 DEF.

  49. Which one would you guys get??

    TU: Michael Walters

    TD: Caleb Daniel

Two of them have greats stats

    6

    1. Depends if you have Dunkley i think. I have him so would prefer to have Walters instead of 2 members of the same attacking line

      1. Johnnyboy.

        Daniel is playing in defence.

I love Sonny Walters but he has a shocking injury history.

My heart goes Walters, if you have the trades I would risk it as he has a much higher ceiling.

My head ( boring I know) would go Daniel. He has been great this year and although unlikely to go big, rarely goes under 90.

Best of luck who ever you choose.

        1. Hey guys thanks for the input

So i decided to get Boak instead i just realize i can afford him for my forward line he seems like a right choice.

          So i traded out Whitfield, Scrimshaw, Petruccelle > J.Sicily , Gardner , T.Boak

two good players that has history to score 100 or more plus a decent rookie to cover defend in the bye rounds.

          5

          1. I think he is ( Alf Art ) commenting on having two players on the same team in your forward line.

I’m not sure the Doggies have the same scoring power as Geelong.

The Cats could end up with 3 forwards ( add in Hawkins) in the top 6/8 forwards for the Year.

            1. I was thanks FT.
              I gotta type faster.
A forward line with Kelly, Dangerfield, Dunkley and Daniel would be good too, and you could raffle the other spots.

  50. It can be quite frustrating reversing trades during the byes because you have to move all those blue dots to the bench again. Here is a tip.

I have been trying to chose between Ryan and Sicily to bring in for Crisp. I do the Crisp to Ryan trade. Now I change my mind. No need to reverse trades. Just trade Ryan to Sicily. You don’t burn another trade.

    7

    2
    1. With Pearce out I am leaning Ryan. But then again he is 30k more expensive. How have you made your decision? I’ll probably get both later on but getting one now

      1. Ryan has the higher ceiling. Just worried with Pierce out his role might change. Might still get him later, just would like to watch him for the next couple of weeks.

  51. 12 trades left, team as follows:

DEF – Laird, Ryan, Lloyd, Williams, B Smith, Hore (Duursma, Answerth)

    R – Gawn, Goldstein (Bines)
FWD – Dangerfield, Kelly, Heeney, Darling, Billings, L Baker (Gardner, Young)

T/U – Darling, B Smith, Hayes —–> Boak, Sicily, Bewley.
    T/D – Bad idea.
Comment – if you see something I am missing.

  59. I already posted about this but need your opinions plz guys..
Need to bring in Sicily this week . I can trade out Hore who has the bye or Brodie Smith. If i chose smith, I may not be able to field 18 this week.

    Who do i trade out?

    TU- Hore

    TD- Smith

    4

    8
    1. If you trade out Hore, who will be your D6 AFTER the byes?
Is there a trade on another line that you like that could give you 18 on field this week?
The reason I ask these questions is that, last year I made a trade in the byes simply to get 18 onfield for one of the byes. The consequences for my team’s overall strategy were bad and enduring. I never quite recovered and ran out of trades trying to repair the damage.
Short answer: sometimes it’s worth taking a donut to retain focus on your long-term plan.

      1. My defence currently sits;
        Lloyd, Hurn, Houli,
        Williams, Hore, Smith

Sicily to come in for either hore/smith
Whitfield to come in for either hore/smith…once he is back.
I have Duursma as my d7 who I am looking to trade in the coming weeks also.

        1

        1. Trade Hore then if you’re happy to. Smith SHOULD bounce back as he’s currently underpriced. Good luck!

          1
          1. So basically if i decide to trade hore this week,
I will have to keep Smith/Duursma as my D6 until Whtifield comes back into my side.
My only concern is Smith will possibly drop below 400k soon.

  61. Hey guys. Looking to get Sheed out of my team this week. Who to upgrade to:

TU – Bont (get the next two weeks of him playing)
TD – Cunnington (misses next week and could get Deboered this week but I like him a lot more – have 20 playing next week already)

    Cheers cobs

  62. Last forward spot:
    TU: C Daniel and 70,000
    TD: J Dunkley

Other fwds: Danger, T Kelly, I Heeney, J Westhoff and R Gray.

Daniel’s cash will be extremely beneficial in the latter half helping with future trades but Dunkley possess the higher ceiling and potential for higher avg for the remainder of the season.

    3

    13
  63. One Premo short in FWD and MIDFIELD.

    Which move first?

    T/U : Baker to Boak
    Or
    T/D : Stack to Fyfe

    3

    19
  64. Would would you go for?

    TU: Boak
    TD: Walter

My guts say Walter cause he has dual position which is helpful

    15

    2
    1. I’ve been considering Sonny as well but in his last five games he’s had two tons and he kicked the winning score in both of those games. Not sure how much of a bonus he got but something to consider. He won’t kick the sealer every week.

      2

  65. Like many I punted Dunkley after a lower than anticipated first month of footy and he’s now setting the world alight proving me to be a mug.

TU – Bite the bullet, swallow my pride and get him back into the team this week off his bye.
TD – Mr Magnets might’ve concocted something in his week off. Buyer beware. Stay away.

Think I know the answer to this one but I just need some positive affirmation that I should get Dunkley back in.

    10

  66. Out = Answerth, Clark, Balta
In = TU – Fyfe, Gardner, Naish
    TD – Gray, Naish, Marshall/Zeibell/Daniel
    Thanks

    1. He scored 140 last week. Why would you trade him?!?!?!?! At the absolute least maybe give him one nore week and trade him at his bye.

  67. T/U- Whitfield, Scrimshaw, Balta -> Boak, Sicily, Bewley

T/D – Scrimshaw, Answerth, Corbett -> Naish, Sicily, Gardner

14 trades left. Going overall, not sure if should trade or hold Whitfield whilst injured.

    3

    0
  68. Out -> Jordan Clark, Matty Parker, Will Setterfield
In -> Gardner, Sicily & Robbie Gray
    17k left, 11 Trades

    T/U – Good Move
    T/D – Think again

  69. Who to bring in first as a final fwd.
    TU Dunkley 556k b/e 82
    TD Marshall 462k b/e 60

    Will go with 2 downgrades.

    6

    2
    1. I’m in the same boat, Tommy.

If Dunkley is named as a follower/on the ball tonight, I’ll be going with him. If not, Marshall’s in.

      1

      0
      1. GD it’s a tricky one. Averages very similar yet the huge price difference is significant. Dunkley with the higher ceiling when in the middle yet Marshall with his HOs very valuable…thinking I’ll go with Marshall based on no competition for his position and wait another week on Dunkley who won’t raise in price too much.
