    1. Got the bye this week, but I personally think he’s good value. 5rd average of 108. Lowest score of 89 since Rd 3.

    2. The risk here is that once the Tigers get Cotchin, Edwards and Lambert back, Dusty spends more time in the forward line. He’s still dangerous there, but probably won’t score as well as he has been with those guys sitting out.

  1. Walsh – Neale
    Duursma -Louge

295k banked for Answerth- Sloane/Bont next week leaves me with 6 trades and full premo team

    16

    3
  2. TU- Goldy for Gawn and grab Neale next week (for walsh)
TD- Walsh for Neale now and worry about Gawn later

    31

    6
  3. TU – no rookies on field with RGray/Westhoff F5-F6
TD – get Zerrett with Duursma only rookie on field (Westhoff F6)

    3

    33
  4. My defence is this:
Hurn, Lloyd, Ryan, Williams, Milera, Smith (Hore, Duursma)

Would t be worth trading Milera/Smith/Duursma/Hore for Logue or Naish in a week’s time? 10 trades left after this week

    15

  5. Debating whether or not to bring in Gawn for Goldie while I can afford it now or focus on def/mid taking out Durrsma and stack for premos (14 trades left)

    TU: Get Gawn in
TD: Focus on other parts of the field look at gawn later

    1. Gawn has Sean Darcy this week, so I’d probably go now. Potentially trade out Goldie and Durrsma this week and look to double upgrade next week. Stack won’t lose value because he has the bye.

  6. What are peoples thought on Michael Hurley as a POD? 462k, averaging 98 in his last 5, has a BE of 41 and only 2% ownership. Contemplating bringing him in instead of Sicily so I can afford Sloane next week.

TU – Solid option, do it.
    TD – Pass.

    1. I’d downgrade Duursma to Griffin Logue first off, then trade T. O’brien to Walters if he’s the guy you’re after. I’d also trade out Corbett, move T. Kelly forward and bring in Dylan Clarke for some cash gen.

That’d give you a pretty good fwd line:
      Kelly, Dunkley,Walters (Setterfield)
      Dangerfield, Boak, Worpel (Parker)

      6

        1. I’d wait for Hurn and Whitfield to drop and aim for them. Both have high BE so should drop in price in a couple weeks.

  8. Looking for upgrade options this week. My team so far:
DEF: Lloyd, Hurn, Laird, Williams, Sicily, Hore (Answerth, Naish)
MID: Kelly, Cripps, Neale, Macrae, Oliver, Sloane, Cunnington, Clarke (bewley, hately, hayes)
    RUCKS: Gawn, Grundy, (bines)
FOR: Dunkley, TK, Danger, Boak, Heeney, Setterfield (Burgess, Gardner)

I have 11 trades left with 376K in the bank, and am not sure who to get for F6, D6 and M8. Any suggestions?

    1. W Hayes to A Brayshaw will cost just under 230,000 and with remaining cash you will have enough to trade either W Setterfield/N Answerth for J Westhoff/L Franklin.

      4

      9
    2. I’m jealous of your team, with most of the highest averagers & 11 trades left you’ve got some serious options, i’d say back your gut, obviously Daniel or Marshell would be nice simple trades for Setterfield, you could role the dice on Buddy at the cheap price seeings though it’s F6.

      4

  9. TU – YEO @ $583,400. Ave 104.

    TD – TRELOAR @ $507,900. Ave 104.9.

I think Yeo will outscore Treloar the rest of the year. But that extra $75,500 could come in handy when upgrading the last few spots in my team. 10 trades remaining & 3 rookies left on field… could get Yeo in a few weeks?

    8

  10. What’s everyone’s thoughts on a sideways trade – libba to Gus brayshaw?
I swore I would only bring in mids who I thought would finish top 10 at this point, but…
(also I have 16 trades left, and nearing a complete team)

    1. You have no cover on your midfield bench, one trade I’d be looking at would be Scott to Clarke. Scott is out indefinitely.

      4

  12. Hey all close to where i want to be, but a couple short and really good cover on the benches, having said that only eight trades left and really planned to get grundy in for obvious reasons and unload goldy who has been exellent.

The big question is should i be banking 160 odd this week with a rookie downgrade to enable me to do the deed next week.
Or wait till next week in case grundy not over niggle.
    Thumbs up- bank
    Thumbs down- hold the fort
    Thanks in advance

  13. Lloyd Houli Laird Williams Smith Duursma (D.Moore Answerth)
J.Kelly Neale Fyfe Cripps Macrae Dangerfield Rockliff B.Crouch (Stocker O.Baker Bewley)
    Gawn Mumford (Bines)
Boak Daniel T.Kelly Billings Heeney Lobb (DMoore(Haw) Begley)

So… think Clarke is must have. If all named that should be i have 17 playing this week. Do i trade Lobb for 4 weeks who is my intended dpp with Bines through end of year, trade Rocky apparently out for yet one more week and BE 110, trade Stocker who is out 2 – 3 weeks and will pay with his BE of 0 within 4 weeks I’d assume and is only at 210k atm, or trade someone else. Still to get Sloane Hurn and Grundy and i have 12 trades and 110k in bank atm. Would love some help. Really really stumped on this one. Sorry ures not TU and TD easy response… Thanks guys

    Maybe
    TU Rocky
    TD Lobb

  14. G’day everyone would love some help here:

    T/U: Walsh, Rocky & Constable -> D.Clarke, C.Daniel & Gaff (123k banked)
This leaves me with 2 upgrades left of M7 (Butters) & M8 probably D.clarke

    T/D: Answerth, Rocky & Constable -> D.Clarke, C.Daniel & R.Marshall ($500 left)
    Walsh and Butters at M7 & M8

  15. Look like Libba has to go – do I:

T/U bring in Walters (opens up a non-existent DPP option)

    T/D bring in Macrae

    TIA

  16. I have 2 more players to upgrade, one of them being Liam Baker who needs to go this week….. simple! I know Dunkley is real expensive atm but I feel like I need to get him in ASAP to finish off my forward line, since I am playing for overall. Currently ranked inside the top 50.

    TU – Dunkley In

    TD- Too expensive

  17. Suggestions needed!

I’ve got Burgess warning my forward bench and Setters doing likewise in my mids. I need to swing Setters back forward next round as he’s the only possible upgrade choice to finish my forward line. Problem is I’ve got no DPP on my forward bench. Thoughts on possible downgrades for Burgess? They don’t necessarily need a game, but it’d be preferred.

    Matthew Ling? Mosquito? Wicks? Taylor?

    Thoughts or suggestions?

    1. Brad

      Jarrod Cameron. M/F $117K / WC Eagles.

Rumoured to be getting a game this week. ( Rioli suspended )

Paper thin JS but cheap enough.

      1. Cameron was added to my list of cheapies today. I read the same rumour. Cheap + benchwarmer = looks good. Numbers wise I don’t even need them playing this week. obviously a game or two would be nice if they can earn some extra value.

I’ve got 14 trades left, so I’m not too concerned about injury trades either. I just need a little extra cash for last 3 premo upgrades…1 mid and 2 fwds.

  18. Def:
Lloyd, Houli, Laird, Williams, Hore, Answerth (Whitfield, Watson)
    Mid:
Merret, Oliver, Sloane, Stocker, Wills, Baker, Bewley, Clarke (Cripps, M Crouch, Hately)
    Ruc:
    Grundy, Goldsten (Fort)
    For:
Dangerfield, Boak, Daniel, Kelly, Heeney, Parker (Baker, Stengle)

146k left, 10 trades. Thinking I do nothing this week as I’m vsing an easy opponent. Trade answerth for Naish or Logue next week, trade L.Baker for Dunkley. Then hope my rookies generate enough cash to finish my Mid. Thoughts?

  19. First time posting on the site, love everyone’s work on here!
Team: 125k in bank, 12 trades left
Def – Lloyd, Sicily, Laird, Z.Williams, Hore, Duursma (Naish, Gardner)
Mid – Neale, Kelly, Fyfe, Cripps, Macrae, Bont, M.Crouch, Walsh (Bewley, O.Baker, Scott)
    Ruck – Gawn, Grundy
Fwds – Dunkley, Danger, Kelly, Daniel, Heeney, Baker (Setters, Young)

Am thinking of trading out Duursma, Walsh and Baker and bringing in Logue, Boak and Oliver.. This will finish up my forward and midfield however I miss out on Dylan Clarke, have Hore and Logue D5 & D6 and little cash gen.
Am I overthinking these moves and should I stick with them or reassess? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    1. Walsh to Clarke, then upgrade Baker to a forward of your choice, Andy. Try to resist going early on Logue, he’ll probably be OK but it’s a risk you don’t have to take at this stage. Besides, Clarke will be a better cash cow anyway.

Hold Duursma for one more week, and then upgrade him too. Your team looks great, good luck for the rest of the season!

  20. Hi folks, in a dilemma.
Current Defs: Lloyd, Hurn, Williams, Laird, Answerth, Duursma, Burgess,
    Gardner
Current Fwds: Kelly, Danger, Marshall, Billings, Cameron, L.Baker, Parker, Young

Which of the two provides a better outcome:

    TU
    Parker >> Logue
    Duursma >> Rich
    Walsh >> Boak
    (Keep Answerth)

    TD
    L.Baker >> Logue
    Duursma >> T.Stewart
    Walsh >> Heeney
    (Keep Setterfield)

Both options complete my fwd line, and will allow me to get Sloane next week to complete my mids.

    Cheers!

  21. Walters vs Heeney for last fwd spot.
Swans play majority of bottom 8 teams on the run home which is enticing. But do the swans pull the pin on Heeneys year early to get all the inj niggles sorted ready for 2020?
Walters is on a heater, but have been burnt before with him.

    who would you recommend.

    3

    2
      1. Think Walters is more likely to give you those monster games you’ll need if you’re going for overall.

        6

        1
  22. Lloyd, Laird, Williams, Hore, Smith, Duursma, B: Answerth, Gardner
Neale, Fyfe, Macrae, Cripps, Cognilio, B Crouch, Walsh, Liberatore, B: OBaker, Bewley, Hately
    Grundy, Gawn B: Bines
Kelly, Boak, Dangerfield, Marshall, Westhoff, Settersfield, B: Young Burgess
130k in bank and 16 trades remaining.
    T/U
IN: Dylan Clarke Clayton Oliver Josh Dunkley
OUT: Xavier Duursma Sam Walsh Tom Liberatore

    T/D
In: Tom Stewart Dylan Clarke Josh Dunkley
Out: Sam Walsh Tom Liberatore Will Setterfield

Look to get Kelly/Hurn in coming weeks as they drop in value.

    Any other ideas appreciated.

    1. Now seriously considering the following:
IN: Griffin Logue Dylan Clarke Josh Dunkley
OUT: Noah Answerth Tom LiberatoreWill Setterfield

Leaves 135k to get Kelly in next week.

      4

      2
  23. Some feedback on this would be great:

    Gibbons – Naish (via Answerth)
    Walsh – McRae
    Rocky – Clarke

Gives me 380000 for a double upgrade next week.

    9

  24. Team announcements could very well change this but as it currently stands with Burgess and Lockhart not getting a game:

    Burgess – Logue
    Lockhart – Clarke (ESS)
    Walsh – Zerrett

Completes MIDs. Duursma only rookie on field at D6. FWDs completed, albeit with Westhoff F6.

    TU – go for it
    TD – rethink

  25. Can’t decide on my last mid spot?!

    Currently have:
Fyfe, Cripps, Neale, Macrae, Oliver, Coniglio, M.Crouch, Walsh

Can upgrade Walsh to anyone except J.Kelly, who to pick?

    Merrett, Cunnington, Gaff?

    0

    0
    1. Gaff or Merrett if you need to do it this week. Personally I’d go Gaff, so Merrett is probably the right call! 😉

      Good luck whatever you decide.

      1

      1
  26. If Bewley and Gardner aren’t named this week which now appears likely, just how many are we looking at having onfield?

TU: 19 max at a squeeze!
TD: pfft 20 minimum. Not a problem.

    10

  27. Hello,

Do I upgrade Goldy to Gawn this week or fill my last Fwd spot with M Walters? and look to Gawn when I can generate more cash? Cheers

    TU Go Gawn now
    TD Get Walters now

  28. Completing my Midfield:
Fyfe, Sloane, Cunnington, Cripps, Coniglio, Brad Crouch, Rockliff, Walsh (Bewley, Dylan Clarke, Baker)

I have just enough money to get Walsh to NEALE, but i’m also considering other midfielders….

GAFF is probably the main one I’m considering, very favourable run home with 6 games left at Optus Stadium where he averages 117.1 and his last four games of the year (SuperCoach finals) he faces Carlton, Crows, Richmond and Hawks who all give up big scores to opposition midfielders.

T/U – Just get Neale, he’ll continue to average 120
T/D – Get Gaff, POD and favourable run home is massive.
Comment: Macrae, Duncan, Oliver, Bont, Merret, Treloar

    6

    2
    1. Tipping Neale to go big against StK especially with Steele out. Clark might tag Gaff this week.

      3

      3
  29. Jarrod Cameron to debut for WC in place of the suspended Rioli, Josh Rotham expected to make way for Hurn’s return.

  30. Stuck between trades pls help !! I have 16 trades left and $104.4k in the bank and I’m going for league wins. Any suggestions are appreciated !

Def: Lloyd, Laird, Williams, Sicily, Hore, Wilkie EMG: Answerth, Gardner

Mid: Fyfe, Cripps, Macrae, Cogs, Treloar, B Crouch, Stack, Duursma EMG: O.Baker, Bewley, Sparrow

    Ruck: Gawn, Grundy EMG: Sweet

Fwd: Dunkley, Kelly, Danger, Boak, Heeney, Setterfield EMG: Young, Schultz

T/up – Trade Wilkie to Naish, Sparrow to Clarke and upgrade Duursma to a premo midfielder or Defender

T/down – Just trade in Clarke and hold Wilkie and Duursma until next week

    3

    3
  31. Current team pre trades:
    Def: J Lloyd, R Laird, Z Williams, H Andrews, B Smith, M Hore, (X Duursma, R Gardner)

    Mid: P Cripps, N Fyfe, J Kelly, L Neale, J Macrae, C Oliver, Z Merrett, R Sloane, (D Clarke, W Setterfield, O Baker)

    Ruck: B Grundy, T Goldstein, (P Bines)

    Fwd: P Dangerfield, T Kelly, C Daniel, I Heeney, R Gray, J Westhoff, ( C Burgess, R Young)

    Trades left: 9

    TU: Out: Goldy, In: Gawn
Should allow C Burgess to D Mundy/S Menegola later on but means M Hore will stay as D6.

TD: Keep Goldy which will allow D Mundy/S Menegola as F7 and S Hurn replacing M Hore at D6/ another def premo at D7 whilst keeping Hore.

  32. Ranked around 2000 in my first season

    Duursma to Macrae
    Smith to Stewart
Parker to Logue (via Gardner DPP)

Leaves me with 15k and 10 trades to upgrade Wilkie and Hore to finish of my team in the next few weeks

    Am I a good spot?

    9

    1. Sounds superb, TJ. Well done.

You’re well set up to play the long game from here. Extract maximum cash from your remaining rookies. Hore is fine at D5 – 6 for now, so upgrade Wilkie first.

    1. Consistency Daniels, higher ceiling Walters. Although his last 3 scores have been inflated due to kicking the winning score or 6 goals…….not sure that will be a regular occurrence going forward though

      0

  33. Out: Libba and Baker
    In: Boak and Neale

Not sure if I’ll use the 3rd trade, got 12 left and 520k in the bank. Tempted to bring in Clarke and trade Stack out which would enable me to get Fyfe and Hurn/Whitfield in next week.

T/U: Throw caution to the wind and do 3 trades, there’s no time like the present.

T/D: Calm down my friend, slow and steady wins the race.

    2. If you’re accepting that you’ll run out of trades, it’s time then to consider rolling the dice on some mid price options. Starting with Lipinski at M7 and Buddy at F6 perhaps, which you could facilitate as follows:

      Baker -> Buddy
      Answerth -> D. Clarke
      Scott -> Lipinski

Those moves will effectively “finish” your MID and FWD lines for now, in that you won’t be fielding any rookies in those lines besides Walsh at M8.

From there, get maximum cash out of your remaining rookies and keep your eyes peeled for a budget candidate at D6. You should then finish with a “full team” and have 1 trade to cover for an injury.

Shitty circumstances- but that’s how I’d get through it, Carl.

I like the look of Lipinski over Gus, but it’s your team and they’re your dice to roll. So yeah, Buddy and Gus sound good.

  36. Need to finish forward line. I have Danger, Kelly, Dunkley, Heeney, Boak and Balta at F6. I’ve got at most 535K available so can afford anyone below Boak.

Whats the best option? Caleb Daniel’s consistency is appealing, Magnets’ lack of is not though.

  37. Not seeing any love for Parker around the traps. 5 round ave of 130. Blokes been on the rip. Only in 2% of teams.

Has he been branded a burn man?

I’m tossing up between him and Neale. The POD options is very tempting, but had eye on Neale all season.

  38. Welcome llyod to my backline. Straight into D1. Relief. Should of started him but swings and round abouts.
Walsh gibbons baker out, llyod, naish, buddy in
Been thinking long and hard about this. He won’t lose any cash, in a low number of teams, to me appears back in good form and Reid looks good too (Reid plays buddy does what he likes imo).
Won’t be able to talk me out of it and I’m making him VC, we have safe captain back ups this week

T/up – Trade Schultz to Logue via Gardner and trade Tom Sparrow to Clarke, which leaves me with 14 trades and roughly $50k. And next week downgrade Wilkie to Naish if selected and upgrade Duursma to any premo midfielder

T/down – Trade Wilkie to Logue, upgrade Setterfield to Caleb Daniel and complete my fwd line and Sparrow to Clarke. Leaves me with 13 trades and only $1.5k

    Answerth to Logue
    Stocker to Clarke
    Baker to Dunkley

  45. So in about 2 weeks i’ll have a full premo (450k+) team with 6 trades left and i just wanna know if you guys think this is good enough come SuperCoach finals because I’m currently top of a league that pays a grand….

Def: Lloyd Hurn Whitfield Stewart Sicily Williams
Mid: Neale, Fyfe, Sloane, Cripps, Cunnington, Coniglio, B Crouch, Rockliff
    Ruck: Gawndy
Fwd: Boak Dunkley Kelly Danger Billings Worpel

My main concerns are B Crouch, Rockliff, Billings and Worpel, are these good enough players to have as the last couple of mid and forward players? Or is there other guns i should desperately look to bring in??

T/U – Nice team, save your 6 trades for injuries etc
T/D – Look to continue to generate cash to improve M7, M8, F7 and F8

    1. You could look at a fallen Jezza Cameron after Rd15 with some great finals match-ups. Not so cheap but Hawkins maybe another option.
Rockliff>Brayshaw for POD could also be handy.

Might however, be better to wait and target these types when injuries inevitably occur.

  46. I need a backline downgrade. I have enough players this week, so it doesn’t matter if he’s on his bye or not. Scoring potential and job security are much more important.

    TU: Patrick Naish
    TD: Joel Garner

    1. Oof. Two precarious options, Sal. Suspect Edwards takes Naish’s spot and Port seem to making dramatic changes to their 22 every week. Steer clear of both if you can.

      1. Hmm… any other options I should look at? I need someone in that sort of price-range (Logue is too expensive, unfortunately).
