Trade Talk Rd3

Written by Schwarzwalder on April 2 2017

SUPERCOACH IS OPEN!  One of the most important weeks of trading for the year.  Prices are about to change in a hurry after Rd3.  Who’s coming into your team?  Who simply has to go?  Do you need to trade at all?

  1. I am thinking of trading one of Hibberd/Pickett or another rookie to make a bit of money in round 3… but this I hear is a no no

I am not sure if I should keep O’Meara or Steele, but think i will keep them for now

Sam Reid and Clayton Oliver are very tempting! Even Mitch Hannan or Pruess (get rid of stradica)

  2. OUT: Pickett/SPS
    IN: WHE/Houston

Must get Pickett/Parfitt off the field!!

EDIT: Now I’ve cooled off, think I will just make the one trade this week. Hibberd->WHE. WHE slides in @F5 with Bulter last on field spot. Buter should have been fielded this week but out of action Thursday I wasn’t able to set my team. Don’t need to be wasting multiple trades. SPS/Pickett have good JS, they will be slow burns but the difference in money gained won’t be worth the loss of trades.

      1. Breakeven is -1

Rookie corrections this week to bring in the rookies who will rise heaps in price to get cash generation going. SPS will have a stunted growth.

        2

        3
          1. Agree, if he cleans up his act, we’ll be laughing. Hence why I have cooled off the idea and holding for now. Also has good JS.

      1. Keep an eye out on teams this week. He’s taken Pittards spot the last two weeks but he is set to return this week. If he remains, should be locked. His disposal by foot has been impeccable and they have been looking to get the ball in his hands on the rebound – good signs.

I wouldn’t be expecting scores like this week again though if Pittard is back as he won’t be getting as many rebounding 50s. If Pittard is still a week away, I would be nervous picking him up.

  3. Is it worth dropping Taranto to WHE?

WHE has 100% JS and should score pretty well (ave80-90?). Can’t see Taranto averaging more than 70 with so many guns around him.

    TU: YES
    TD: NO

    35

    19
  4. What do I do with Hanners? Just not scoring like he is used to. Should I ride it out or trade for a premium, a few rookies?

    13

    1
      1. tempted to dump him for clayton oliver and bank the money… can bank over 300k!

but i hear the golden rule is to keep premos?

        11

        2
  5. I am thinking of dumping Pickett to Parfitt

I want clayton oliver, but I can’t dump O’Meara (would be a swap)

And what about Jack Steele, keep or trade?

    2

    2
    1. – I wouldn’t be bringing in Parfitt, he’s been the 3rd least performing rookie.

      – Keep Steele, he will be better back at home.

  6. Going with
    Turner > WHE
    Barrett > Houston

Houston should have decent JS for a few more rounds now and looks like a must have rookie tbh.
J.Smith will just have to wait until another cheap def rookie with decent JS turns up. Hopefully Newman.

    3

    10
    1. Not sure I agree on Houston JS. Pittard and Hartlett to come back into the side is tough competition for his spot and there are no obvious exclusions after this weeks game. Krakouer is also waiting in the wings getting his fitness up to put pressure on for spots.

Houston has played well but we saw with Eddy that Hinkley isn’t giving anyone a second chance this year. If Houston has a bad week he’s gone, and might even be dropped without having a bad week at the moment.

      5

      1
    2. Im thinking of doing the same , holding J.Smith for possibly Newman in a weeks time . Was going to trade J.Smith to Hannan via DPP trades but the weekend has given me 2nd thoughts with his performance against Carlton .

  7. what rookies should i be looking to get in? already have marchbank, WHE, SPP, Butler as well as some others, and want to wait on newman and miles.
    Would appreciate suggestions, thanks!

  8. Simpkin has to go but the next trade i can’t decide. I have M. Hibberd aswell but he can loophole for now.

    It’s time to go???

    TU – S. Petrevski-Seton
    TD – J. Pickett

    Thanks in advance

  9. Roughead > Hoskin – elliot

    Vickers-willis > Marchbank

I know I shouldn’t be trading roughead but its only way I see can get hoskin-elliot in, also allowing enough to upgrade non playing back to marchbank

T/U Get Hoskin Elliot and Marchbank in

    T/D Don’t trade roughy

    23

    31
    1. Exact same dilemma Case….. ( other than Joel Smith to Marchbank for me )

The downside will be burning two trades.

The upside is making money allowing both WHE and Marchbank in. They will be both make heaps of cash and can hold steady averages til later in the season.
      Also very steady JS
WHE and Roughy should average the same give or take 5-8 points a game.
Problem is do you burn two trades to do all this. I have no issues elsewhere so they can be my “corrective ” trades but is it a real necessity when Roughy will be ok to keep. Tough one.

      1

      0
      1. is Roughead going to be a top 6 FwD this year?

T/U Yes, if you don’t hold him you will be laughing stock at the watercooler.

T/D No, if you want 50K get some berries.

        1

        2
    1. Do you genuinely believe that Oliver can go 110+ for the rest of the season? If so, by all means make the trade, but if not, then you might be better served with a different move.

      18

      0
  10. Joel Smith has to go; I’ll probably make 2 trades, adding Petrevski-Seton out as well. Parfitt and Pickett will stay as bench slow-burners, but Florent is an option to flick instead of SPS; although Florent’s lower price and DPP status will probably give him a stay of execution. Trade in targets are 2 of Otten, WHE and Preuss.

    1

    1
  11. You can wait on Preuss Eagling as he will get a week or two for his late knee today.

In answer to your question i think Oliver can average 100+ so might be a handy M9 or can be upgraded later in the season as will be a good stepping stone as he will get to 500k.

    7

    4
    1. That’s what I’m sort of hoping for. It’ll be easy if he misses a week. But on the flip side, if he misses that’s one less week he can take advantage of Goldy’s absence. (If any).

      2

      1
  12. Limited cash, thinking about two corrections,

    Roughy –> Nank
    Taranto –> WHE

    TU yep
    TD nup

Don’t really want to get rid of Roughy but Nank looking like a potential top 6 fwd at a great price, future ruck-insurance to boot. Taranto may improve and WHE will probably drop off a bit, but good job security and quicker cash flow are very tempting as well as probably 10pts per round…

    25

    9
  13. Need to bring in a relative premo defender with $498K total banked. Who looks the goods?

I’d like someone with a certain B/E score and hopefully a marginal price increase over the coming few weeks…

    0

    0
      1. Howe if you can. I would also consider Tuohy.

From a different angle you could bring in Marchbank and McGrath for JS and target a premium next week.

        1

        0
  14. Nice simple one for the community as I only have two possible trade outs to bring WHE in:

    TU- Turner
    TD – Taranto

    9

    19
    1. I’ve got the same dilemma. Thing is though WHE could easily avg 80 or less from here on in IMO…I might have to go back and review the tapes before next wk sigh….

      1

  15. Scared to think how much cash jack Steven will drop in the near future and how much cash Pickett won’t make
    TU Steven/Pickett out Oliver/WHE in
TD save the trades Steven won’t lose that much

    16

    6
    1. Will Steven play this week? Is it worth waiting a week and trying to make other changes to get Oliver/WHE in?

      0

      0
  16. Jack Steven is playing horribly and has apparently broken ribs so which one is best?

    T/U: Marc Murphy
    T/D: Clayton Oliver

    24

    16
  17. Rough start to the season. NRoo, J Smith and Goldy did not help. Dont even get me started on Hannebery.

    – Tossing up a few options.

    TU – NRoo > WHE & J Smith > Murphy

    TD – Hannebery > Murphy & Smith >WHE

    Option C – Goldy > Witts & Smith > WHE

Option D – Make no trades. Hold NRoo, Hold Goldy, Hold Hannebery and back the rookies in for a week

Hmmmm to be honest. I don’t like any of my options!!!

    5

    2
    1. Really depends on what your end of season goals are, in saying that I think nroo has to go first for WHE then probably smith to Murphy but just watch to see how godly is

      0

      1
  18. Hibberd is stinking up my backline but was happy this week as could loophole ottens’ 100.
my problem is the only other option atm is mcgrath, he has good JS but I just dont see him generating much cash at his price.
    Do I:
T/U trade hibberd for McGrath just to ensure I have warm bodies on the bench
T/D wait a week to see how nic newman goes

    2

    18
      1. I have got marchbank, hampton and otten on field atm. all are scoring better or at the same rate as McGrath so I am not sure if he is worth price.

        5

        2
  19. If I was to trade one of Pickett, Parfitt or Florent
    Do I:
T/U bring in Ainsworth to maintain my Mid/Fwd link
T/D bring in butler for a quick cash grab

    0

    18
  20. I have my eye on Newman next week and hopefully D.Cameron the week after to replace under performers. I am hoping injuries to Rampe and Tippett give these rookies decent JS. Tell me if I am dream’n …

    5

    0
  21. Rookie corrections this week. I feel like I need four trades!

UP – Taranto to WHE (F5) & Florent to MCGrath (D5) via Dpp. Downside: miss Houston and to get Newman next week McGrath goes to M9.

DN – Florent to WHE (F6) & Pickett to Houston (F7). Downside: Need to trade Eddy to get Cameron in two weeks … plus need to rely on weak defence with D5 Hampton.

    0

    10
      1. Unreal idea! I like it a lot! Do we get to use 3 trades in the bye week GCS and port have their bye? Or just two trades that week ?

        1

        0
  22. Thinking of doing just the straight trade of SPS to Murphy, with the 300k I banked last week after trading out NRoo.

    T/U Yay
T/U Nay, purple patch for Murph atm

    12

    14
  23. Thought I’d take a punt on Jack Riewoldt considering he was said to play more Full Forward (I thought snags) but signs haven’t been promising early…
    T/U – Keep Jack
T/D – Trade for WHE and generate some $$

    2

    30
  24. Looking to bring in either WHE or Marchbank but don’t have the cash for both, so:

    T/U: Taranto>WHE
    T/D: Taranto>Houston (or other cheap scoring rookie) + Hibberd>Marchbank

    4

    13
  25. Hanners has to go.

T/U Straight swap to the Bont and swap Florent/Pickett for Butler

    T/U Grab Oliver and Nankervis

    10

    16
    1. Hold on to Hanners for a few more weeks yet, and this is more than likely a purple patch for Reid, he won’t maintain that average for the rest of the year.

      13

      5
  26. Goes against most of the unwritten rules but thinking of going T. Lynch (GC) to Hoskin-Elliott. I think picking Lynch was an error and I think he will struggle for reliable output given the Suns look like rubbish. This will give me an extra 300k plus a rookie priced player primed to make some cash.

    TU: Go for it.
    TD: Leave Lynch alone.

    13

    18
    1. I’m struggling with the same thought, I wish Lynch’s breakeven was higher so it was an easier call

      2

      0
      1. I think he should be kept gotta remember suns we’re playing the giants on the weekend who are meant to be a top 4 team suns will play better

        3

        0
        1. I agree but I also think given the state of the Suns, Lynch will have more under 75 than over 100 games which at 500k isn’t ideal. He was a speculative pick which I don’t think will work out and I think I’m going to move him on before he costs me money.

          3

          0
  27. Gonna get one of marchbank, butler or houston

My question is how much of a must have is marchbank if you didn’t start with himespcislly if Newman gets named again this week

    1

    5
    1. Marchbank is fantastic, and has some of the best job security of any rookie – barring injury or suspension, he will play every game for Carlton from round 1 this year right through to when he retires in 2030-something.

Newman looks like he should be a great cash cow, but his job security is a lot shakier.

      5

      0
  28. Missing Hibberd and Smith, but I think No Trades – can’t afford WHE (only 75k) so will save them and look at Newman and loop Smith in the backs and Hibberd in the Mids for a week.

    2

    1
  29. Not sure why people are ditching Hanners, he is a proven performer. I got a feeling there will be regrets when (not if) he gets back to his best

    15

    7
      1. Yeah I see your point, but I wouldn’t want to burn two trades for a gun who is in a bit of a rut.

        17

        2
  30. Hey guys stuck doing this trade who’s best defender under 560k?

    TU JJ
    TD Llyod

Or wait on Simmo/Shaw next week

    10

    9
      1. Fox sport is reporting that North Melbourne have offered Josh Kelly of GWS a rumoured 9 million 9 year deal.
        T/u good trade for North
T/d bad trade for North but good for Kelly

        1

        6
  31. Really confused about what to do this week!

    T/U Taranto/Simpkin > WHE/ Nankervis
    T/D Just Simpkin > WHE

    18

    5
  32. Who to trade out for Houston

    t/u Florent

    t/d Eddy

Comment Not worth the trade for a little more cash generation

    14

    5
  33. Cam McCarthy and Jy Simpkin are on the chopping block… I think Butler has the best JS of he and Houston, already have WHE. Will look at Oliver one more time. I have $443k in the bank. Do I go:

T/U: Butler and Murphy (via Steele)
    T/D: Butler and Higgins
    Comment: Just Butler?

    6

    0
  34. Is WHE a must have, my only trade option is Jy Simpkin (AVG 41, $162k, be 12) Have currently no need to make any other trades.

Thumbs up – quick $$$ go for it!

Thumbs down – Simpkin will make $$$ slowly… save a trade!

    19

    1
  35. Unfortunately I put Hannebery in my starting team after being just short affording Pendlebury.
I thought with Tom Mitchell gone he may improve (along with JPK) however with that and him no longer drinking beer he’s gone the other way.
Now the hard but enjoyable choice is whether to make him Pendlebury or go for a cash grab with Murphy/Oliver (enjoyable because Hannebery will no longer be in my team)

    6

    0
  36. We know that trading uninjured premiums is considered harmful. Good reasons for that. The question I have about Hampsterberry is – Is he injured?

He was hurt in the grand final. He has been playing well below his established level, and having watched all of both Sydney matches, I saw him just standing around while other players were just a few meters away contesting the ball. He’s also playing out of position.

While the timing of his sobriety feels suspicious, I don’t think that is actually the issue.

    So…….

    T / U –> He is hurt
T / D –> He is spudding up for a reason other than injury

    16

    3
    1. On one hand I see stuff like Swans fans saying he came first in their preseason time trials and is just underdone re: match fitness and is basically just working himself into the season slowly.

On the other hand I’ve watched both Sydney games and Hanners has not only looked underdone but potentially injured. He’s been off with his disposal, by hand and foot, has tried with his tackling but he isn’t sticking, and worst of all is hardly ever in and around packs but instead floating outside or playing way the hell up the ground. Same with Parker.

When Papley, Rohan, Heeney, etc come back does that mean Hannerbery goes back into the guts or does Hanners continue to rotate to accomodate the Swans younger players? It’s a hard call.

      1

      0
      1. I can picture the ad now. Hanners the spud, skolls a stubby solo man style, spilling half down his front, becomes hanners the stud.

        0

        0
  37. Only way to get WHE in is to trade Roughead this also allows me to bring in marchbank for the injured smith.

T/U – Make the trade bringing in WHE and marchbank

T/D – Save trades keep roughead and continue playing stewart on the field and wait to trade smith to newman next week

    17

    4
  38. Before the season started there was a heap of blokes in here declaring players like Docherty, Hannebery and Gawn as ‘non-negotiable must haves’. Other players like Higgins as ‘On the Permanent Avoid List’. Whether you listened to that advice and now staring at a sizeable salary loss, or didn’t and are sitting on a decent team, one thing is for sure and that is this week is DEFINITELY a week where it is smart to trade. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

Super Coach Teams should be viewed as a Portfolio of Shares. You need return on your investment. Simple.

If someone is considering a Gawn to Nankervis or a Hannebery to Beams type move, I can give you 300,000 reasons why it is a smart call. Pull the trigger boys!

    7

    19
    1. Why would you trade away Hannebery to a injury prone beams just asking for trouble

And if any coach trades Gawn (119.5 avg) to nankervis (119 avg but unlikely to keep that up) just give up on SuperCoach

      11

      5
      1. @twitch – Take out Beams. Insert Murphy, Fyfe or anyone else. Downgrading Hannebery to any one of them is a smart move.

RE: Gawn, his current Avg. Is a Career HIGH. Can he maintain that? No one knows. But at that price his breakeven is already at 132.

My point was to be brave this week before prices change. Every year this forum is littered with comments like “You’d be stulid to get rid of him” and then later “Wish I got rid of him earlier”

        Be Brave. Not a Bitch.

        1

        4
    2. You can adopt more the buy low/sell high principal in AFL Fantasy as you are given two trades each week. In the limited trade formats, that’s a surefire way to run out of trades and still have rookies on your field come season end.

Starting Nankervis instead of Gawn was reasonable, but certainly not as a downgrade option.

      18

      2
    3. I wouldn’t hate the Hannebery trade to another premo if you think he’s injured but not Gawn. He’s scoring pretty much as he should at the moment, why waste a trade?

      7

      0
      1. @Thommo – He isnt scoring as he should at that price though. His Breakeven is already up to 132. Nankervis on the other hand is averaging the same and is $279K cheaper. Once his Price rises we could be looking at a $400K Variation between the two.

Would you waste a trade for $400K?

        0

        5
    4. I agree with what you’re saying just a couple of poor examples that’s all. There can be room for a move like this, especially this year as the rookies aren’t going to make as much cash. Value for money is important. if there’s a bargain and cash grab opportunity go for it. Just consider how much will it take away from your weekly scores. It may not be worth it

      3

      0
  39. Tom Lynch –> Hoskin-Elliot

    T/U – Yes

    T/D – No

Comment any suggestions/better options any are appreciated 🙂

    3

    17
  40. need some advice…
keep or trade? J. Martin for T. Adams; J. Billings for WHE?
    T/U – Trade
    T/D – Keep

    11

    2
  41. My backs appear to be the weakest on paper with everyone averaging <86 except Laird. I also have Smith and Hibberd warming the pine. Mids are strong with SPP at M8 and Parker at M7.

Forwards are OK with Steele at F4 and Turner and Taranto at F5 and F6 but no WHE. Planning to do

    Hibberd to Marchbank
Mountford to Fox (if he plays, else cannot afford Marchbank)

T/U – yep do it, worth the risk
T/D – nah – think of something else.

    2

    9
    1. Steele to WHE.

      Smith to Marchbank.

      Hibberd next week to Newman.

WHE should average close to Steele and make more coin.

Marchbank looks a solid D4/D5 till the byes and should also make money.

Hibberd can be used to loophole, while you get another look at Newman.

      2

      0
  42. Thumbs up : trade in Otten
Thumbs down : trade in Marchbank

Worry is I already have Laird & Hampton from the Crows. But Otten is over $100k cheaper.

    10

    13
  43. Wanted to get WHE & Marchbank but can’t afford both together or does my dual position players let me
Thought Vickers-Willis had to go before Pickett/Parfitt

    Taranto- Houston
    EV-W – Marchbank

    1

    5
  44. what are people doing with goldstein? will he be carrying injuries throughout the year?
    TU – possible trade
    TD – hold

    5

    10
  45. Already locked in one trade – in: T. Adams out: M. Boyd

Wanting to make one other trade, but I’m not sure which one to go for

    TU – J. Smith -> N. Newman
    TD – J. Steele -> C. Oliver

I do want to keep Steele, but Oliver is really tempting me at the moment. If I was to bring him in, I don’t really have anyone else I want to get rid of.

    0

    4
      1. Yeah that’s what I was going to do if I go with the Steele>Oliver trade. Looks like I’ll do that at this stage

        0

        0
  46. I am passing on Marchbank as I don’t have the funds to get him without doing 2 trades just to get him in. But I am thinking of 2 correctional trades this week being:
    OUT: McCarthy and Pickett
IN: WHE and Butler/Houston (depending on who is named)

    T/U: Good trades
    T/D: Look for other options

    14

    1
  47. Riewoldt to whe and smith to marchbank to bank some $$$$ or
Riewoldt to macrae. Buddy. Nank and florent to whe… and smith to newman next week.
    Missing the march train

    2

    1
  48. My team has got more rookies in now than before the first game. Along with Stevens’ lung my team has been deflated 🙁

    2

    0
    1. Funny how mid-price madness always regresses towards Guns and Rookies as options pop up and premiums who become must haves. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

      3

      0
  49. So I have Jack Steven no need to explain why he needs the axe for now..

Also, I need WHE and Marchbank IMO.

So trade Steven to WHE through putting Taranto into the Mids.

Then J. Smith to Marchbank and have 240k in the bank.

    Thoughts?

    12

    1
      1. TEAM LOOK WITH NEW TRADES

Outs: Jack Steven and J. Smith
        Ins: WHE and Marchbank
        (240k in the bank)

Backs: Docherty, Laird, Howe, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten (Hibberd, Stewart)

  50. This is my team.
    Def –
Adams, Laird, Doch, Marchbank, McGrath, Hampton
    Bench – Stewart, Hibberd

    Mids-
Danger, Titch, Fyfe, Beams, Treloar, SPP, O’Meara, Barret
    Bench- Parfitt, Miles, Mountford

    Rucks-
    Gawn, Sandy
    Bench- Strnadica

    Fwds-
Kennedy, WHE, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Steele, Butler
    Bench- Taranto, Eddy

Should I be looking at getting Nank into my Fwd line before this week and upgrade a rookie to better cash cow such as otten or preuss. Or should I look at just upgrading Strndica to Preuss and trade in another rookie. Downgrading to nank from Jk will give me 212k in the bank for next weeks upgrades I could also look at trading in steele possibly.

    TU-
    JK > Nank and (Strnadica>Preuss or Hibberd>Otten)

    TD
    Strnadica>Preuss and Hibberd>Otten

  51. I have 210k in the bank from trading Riewoldt > Steel last week.

This week I’m looking at trading:
    – OUT Roughead & Hibberd
    – IN WHE and one of the following:
    TU: Higgins
    TD: Yeo

Comment: C. Oliver? (or any other player under 488.3k)

    1. I think getting rid of Roughie is a wasted trade this early. Scoring 73 and 82 really isn’t that bad given the circumstances.

He was always going to come out a little slow. Hawks midfield has changed and it will take time for them to adjust. You could see even this week just gone that they had improved on the last, they also play Gold Coast this week.

Hibberd to WHE though, go nuts.

      1. Thanks Hutta you make some good points. Its not that I want to get rid of Roughie but moreso that I want to jump on the Yeo/Higgins bandwagon! Need to resist that temptation!

Having already made a trade last week I’ll most likely stick with Roughie and conserve the trade for now.

      1. Yeah but I’m looking to buy either Heppell or Murphy. I just don’t know if Murphy’s body will hold up the entire season.

  52. Do we think Ollie Wines will keep up an average above 120+ ?

I would love to get him in but my current midfield doesn’t have much room…
    P Dangerfield, M Murphy, M Bontompelli, T Mitchell, N Fyfe, D Beams, J Watson, S Powell-Pepper (B Parfitt, J Pickett, M Hibberd)

  53. Fox sports are reporting that NM have offerred Josh Kelly of GWS a rumoured 9 million 9 year deal. NM usually have a history of not being able to attract the big bame marquee players but his dad is a former NM player and Kelly himself barracked for NM as a kid. Wonder what NM would gave to give up to make the deal happen?

  54. I think Kelly would be crazy to agree to that.

What if the salary cap increases 20%

I think the kid is a future Brownlow winner, he just seems to have so much time with ball in hand.

In five years time the best players in the comp will be on $1.5 mil minimum.

Give him $7 mil for five years.

I think he is worth it.

  55. Anyone have any idea if Newman is likely to get a good run of games? Got no cover in defence with Hibberd and Smith. Won’t be able to trade to anyone once final teams for Adelaide have been announced Saturday night (got laird otten hampton) Worth getting Newman a week early?

  56. The only way I can get Marchbank and WHE into get rid of either Steele/Roughhead due to $$ in bank

    Could go
    Steele/Roughhead –> WHE
    J.Smith –> Marchbank

    TU DO the trade
TD Leave it too side ways might make some coin but won’t be enough to warrant the trade

I am also cautious Roughhead plays Suns this week and should kill them and has only played 2 games could easily return to form
If you want to add anything comment below please

  57. Want to get in Butler. Which underperformer goes? I realise both aren’t going to make much money so probably leaning towards job security.

    T/U Pickett

    T/D Parfitt

  58. Need some advice, already have Otten, Marchbank, Stewart, SPP, Barret, Parfitt, WHE, Eddy, Butler and Pickett. Off to a good start inside top 500 but really want Houston for some more quick cash
    T/U Trade Pickett for Houston
T/D don’t be greedy, hold the trade for later

    1. Houston is a interesting one seems to have shaky JS but supposedly Pitt are coming back could see him dropped? Will defiantly lower his scoring if pittardcomes in I reckon

  59. Great thread and some interesting talk around Hanners.

I think I have just enough cash in the bank to go Hanners and Bowes to Bont and WHE.

Was considering Murphy instead of Bont and bank some cash, but it hopefully saves a trade down the track as Murphy is probably not a keeper.

Also would be interested to know how many people commenting on the thread that people should not trade Hanners, actually have Hanners themselves! Easy to say keep him, when you haven’t watched him be the worst scorer in your mids 2 weeks running and no matter what he does this week will bleed serious cash.

      1. I’ve got him and will be holding for a few more weeks I don’t think 2 weeks is enough data to trade him out, a 90+ probably gives him another week

        1. If you believe that Hannebery’s low scoring is a symptom of an underlying change, then you have to either flick him now or hold him for the foreseeable future. Now I haven’t watched his games, but I’ve read other people say that Hannebery’s scoring record relies on elite fitness, and that he’s been off the pace so far this year. Some have also said that they’ve watched him around the contest but he wasn’t able to get involved with the play. Since I keep faith with my premiums, if I had him, I’d probably be keeping him, but right now, I’d advise people to trade him out.

Right now Hannebery is a straight swap to nearly anyone. You can’t really afford to wait a week and see.
