  1. This week…..
Wilkie to Luke Ryan (I like his BE)
    Petrecculle to Corbett
Leaves me with 235k for next week.
Next week looking at Drew or Constable into JPK and a downgrade of Gibbons or Duursma.

    TU: Yay
    TD: Nay

    Comments?

    1. He looks to be peaking now so might not be the best decision. Averaging 91 outside of his two huge games which would put him at a 480k price point based on that average. I think you’d be much better off getting a Hurn, Stewart, Whitfield or even Laird at this point all for cheaper (except Hurn).

      1. Thanks. Backline is currently:
Lloyd, Hurn, Whitfield, Wilkie, Hore, Duursma (Clarke, Answerth).

Laird is definitely on the table along with Ryan and Sicily. Like I said, Ryan’s BE is a selling point for me and he’s a bit of a POD. Decisions. My plan after a double downgrade last week, 1 premo in backs and 1 downgrade this week and then mids next week. Before any trades this week I’ve still got 27.

        1. That’s good thinking. Ryan is just getting more confidence as the season goes on and he’s a potential game winning POD. I’d go get him and stick to your plan as it will be at least three weeks before he loses any value.

  2. Hello all thinking of doing a double downgrade this week
Unsure of what my 2nd downgrade is going to be
    1st one
    Clark to Ainsworth

    2nd one either
    Setterfield to d Moore
    Or
    Gibbons to Hatley
Left with 400k in the bank let me know

    5

    9
  3. T/U setterfield to D Moore
    T/D gibbons to Hatley
Only problem with Hatley is job security

    5

    21
      1. why would anyone trade in Moore at this point of the season??
Far too expensive and a LOOOOOONNNGGGG way off top 8 fwd/def…
        am i missing something?

  4. Who out of Clark, Butters, Collins, Scrimshaw, Constable and Gibbons do u trade out first?

    0

    1
    1. Butters and Clarke aren’t worth trading at their value, I’d just leave them on the bench and maybe they pump out a one-off big score like Gibbons did. Gibbons one big score is about to drop out so he is ripe to trade.

  5. If both selected in sides this week:

    Butters to Answerth
    Collins to Hately

Frees up enough cash to go bang on Macrae next week.

    Yes or No

  6. What do u think of a double downgrade this week?

    Collins to Answerth
    Butters to Hately

Leaves me with 309 k, with O’Brien still up my sleeve

  7. Which premos are people targeting this round and why?
Fyfe – sensational premium, terrible injury risk.
Lloyd – consistent performer, high price.
Macrae – cheaper, gun – might go down more (and BEV, ugh…)

    4

    5
  8. I’m looking for a reason to keep Libba?
    Is there one?

Current midfield is Cripps, Neale, MaCrae,Cogs, Rocky, B. Crouch, Libba, Walsh
    (Butters, Hayes, Gibbons)

Looking to trade Butters to Answerth.

TU: Keep Libba & focus on your Fwd/Def rookies.
TD: Trade Libba for Hately if named.
Comment if you would upgrade Libba to Premo (considering Bont or Fyfe).

    Cheers

    18

    5
  9. TU trade up to Neale, best player in comp
TD trade up to Caleb Daniels and take advantage of his cheap price, bring in neale later

    6

    28
  10. Trading out Butters for Answerth using his dpp for mid and had enough of Libba so trading in the Bont for him

    TU: Good trades
    TD: Bad trades

    1. Doing exactly the same trades, Mitchy. Though I’ll be umming and ahhing for the next few days as to whether Bont is the right option.

Treloar and JPK firmly on the radar. Hard to argue with Bont having an average 10pts higher than them, though. His ability to go biiig is certainly attractive, though it comes with the risk of being banished to the forward line for extended periods by his muppet coach. Treloar and JPK are pretty bankable, just not sure I can afford to overlook a bloke priced around $585k who is averaging 120+.

Gaff and Yeo represent some possible PODs at a good price, but not sure it’s a risk I need to take just now.

      3

      0
      1. If it makes you feel any better Bont played predominately forward against the tigs. He just moves up the ground a lot so I still think he has the ability to go big even when playing forward.

  11. Trying to work out my priorities amongst a few problem areas. Libba at M5 looks to be running out of gas, but my current F5-6 is Parker and Petrucelle which is less than ideal.

Dont have the $ to deal with both this week. Which option should I attend to first?

TU: Upgrade Libba to a genuine premo, Fyfe, Neale, etc
TD: Upgrade Petrucelle and bring in a Dunkley/Daniel type

    Cheers!

    1

    20
    1. Great, that makes that decision easy! Now for the hard part:

      TU: Dunkley
      TD: Daniel

Like the look of Daniel’s role for more consistent scoring but reckon Dunkley could go bang if he stays in the midfield…

      10

  12. Really stuck on what to do this week:

TU: double downgrade – Collins to Answorth, Gibbons to Hately

TD: one up, one down – Collins to Answorth, Gibbons to Fyfe

    5

    16
  13. Collins –> Answerth
    Butters –> Hately

Leaves me with $387k in the bank

  14. Hey guys,

    T/U- Collins/Constable to Answorth/Fyfe

    T/D- Collins/Petruccelle to Answorth/Daniel

    Thanks.

    3

    8
  15. Have gone Gibbons to Answerth
Now have the option of either:
    TU Petracelle -> FWD FWD < $543800
Who is the better trade out and trade in targets for the $$ available please, current FWD premos are Kelly, Danger and Heeney.

  16. Who is best premo mid and why, to get in this week taking into account price, ave, BE, price ceiling and scoring potential for the rest of the season ?
    Pendlebury, bontempelli, gaff or McRae?

    1

    1
    1. This week..

      I would probably go Bont.

He is priced well unders for his average and has a very low BE, so will cost you more if you wait. I also like his R12 Bye as it seems most teams are already heavy on R13 bye players.

Pendles is playing well in the midfield ,but could easily be moved if another Mid ( Siers ) starts well enough to get a game. It happened last year. He is also not getting any younger ,so statistically is less likely to hold this sort of form.

Gaff is an interesting one. Playing more on a wing he really needs high stats to go big. He does have the potential for a top 10 mid spot, I just feel his low contested ball count will probably see him just miss. I also feel there many more R13 Bye mids that you could choose from. I think even Yeo could out score him from here.

Lastly theres Macrea. He is my best choice of the lot ,but maybe not this week. His high BE means he will surely be cheaper next week. and maybe even cheaper the week after.

I hope that helps some what.

      1. Thanks freo, your views are much appreciated, I agree with your opinion on McRae. He is a likely upgrade target in a couple of weeks.

For this week, Bont is the man. I think I will go him.

Thank for you timely analysis on the other two. Good thoughts and point of views on Pendlebury and gaff. Food for thought.

    2. I think I am getting pendles….so cheap…..will get fye and/or macrae after their byes and hope not too much dearer.
As for pendles age…..”age shall not weary them…….”

      1

      1
  17. Libba to Answerth
    Petrucelle to Corbett
Gives me the link of Duursma and Answerth between defense and midfield too, and then can upgrade to two premos next week

  18. What to do with the helmet… (Brayshaw). Started him under the assumption he would be a lock, but has been pretty underwhelming. I still have faith though, should I trade him to fyfe? Or use another means of getting fyfe into the squad (whether I trade Angus or not, fyfe will still be coming into the squad this week, the primary issue is what to do with Angus).

    1

    0
    1. That’s a touch one. If I had heaps of trades I’d probably get rid of him calling it a ‘corrective trade’. If not, I’d probably hold in the hope he’s a back half to the season like last year.
Just need MEL to find some form and him to spend more time back in the guts.

      4

      1
      1. Thanks for the response all saints. Yeah his role in the team seems to be the biggest issue at the moment, Incredible footy iq though. May have to hold as I have 23 trades remaining.

        2

        0
        1. Yep. You’ll kick yourself if he goes boom and will likely only ever drop another $20k worst-case, so you’ve little to lose by holding.
I love watching him play. Put him back where he belongs!

          1

          0
          1. I have him as well and I think this is the last week to give him a chance he’s playing the Suns and if he/Melbourne can’t find form this week they never will.

  19. TU:
    Butters -> Fyfe
    Pettrucelle -> Answerth via DPP

    Petrucelle -> C Daniel

    10

  20. Petrucelle -> answerth (vie moore DPP)
Balta -> bont (via setters DPP)
    – setters and scott potentially can make more cash and only losing 10-30k to trade balta for a better fwd bench)
    – leaves 313k in the bank

Comment – trade setters or scott instead

  21. Have 34k in the bank.

    Thinking either

t/u Butters > Ains and keep the cash, or
t/d Duursma > Ains and then Drew > Mundy.

Current Fwd lineup: Danger, Heeney, Kelly, Drew, Petr and Baker

    13

    4
  22. Hey guys – not sure whether to double downgrade or go one up one down this week..

    T/U: Scrimshaw > Answerth & Drew > Daniel
    T/D: Scrimshaw > Answerth & Petrucelle > Corbett

    4

    11
      1. There’s a possibility Macrae gets close to his B.E this week against Brisbane, even though he’s not in hot form.

        1

        2
  23. Trading out Libba and Petrucelle.

    Trading in Corbett and??
    T/U – Bont/Fyfe (handy R12 bye,high ceilings)
T/D – Cameron (nice R14 bye and friendly draw next few weeks, reckon he could go huge)

    19

  24. Massive call but i like alot!!!!!

Petrucelle > Cam Guthrie? (Def, worth 375K)
    3 games – 87, 74, 107 (Plays MID)

    TU
    TD

    1

    19
    1. That 107 came with tuohy and selwood out as well as danger injured. The 74 was with a full side. Im more inclinced to see an 80 average rather then constant 100sq

      1

      0
      1. 80AVE is still good, danger might be out this week too!

80+ for a defender is always good!

        0

        10
        1. Selwood, tuohy and constable (possibly) back in. Its your call but at 375k id want be wanting at least 90-95 ave minimum. But if you think he can go back to his 2015 form then go for it.

Just interested but what does your DEF currently look like

          0

          0
        2. An 80 average is just about as bad a position as you could be in. Not low enough that you could be justified in dropping the player, and not high enough to be top 10 (top 15 even), so you’re stuck in no-man’s land.

          5

          1
  25. Was planning on bringing T. Kelly in this week, but now Jez Cameron has piqued my interest. Roughly the same price as Kelly, but has a massive ceiling and GWS have a super easy run coming up, as well as easy games during SC finals. Huge POD too, I think he’s only in around 4-5% of teams.
My main reason for leaning towards Jez is that he has a different bye (rd14). My forward line premiums at this stage are Danger, Heeney, Daniel and Menegola, so if I bring Kelly in, it means 4 of my forwards will be out of the round 12 bye.
Even though I’m leaning towards Cameron at this point in time, I will still most likely complete my forward line with Kelly, it’ll just be at a later stage. I’ll put it to the thumbs anyway!

    T/U: Cameron
    T/D: Kelly

    15

    7
      1. Josh Kelly does.

        Tim Kelly ( Geelong ) doesn’t.

I nearly got Jezza last week.But.. with Whitfield missing, I went Sicily instead.
I really think Cameron is the pick of the KPP forwards this year.
He does have a great run coming up, and should win the Coleman in a gallop.

If I was upgrading this week he would be very high on my list.

        3

  26. 1. Jake pet and sam Walsh for Jeremy Cameron and Jackson hately

2.sam Walsh and gibbons for fyfe and hately

  27. Is joyce worth getting as I jumped on answirth last week to upgrade cousins to fyfe as he was at a bargain price?

Looking at either a double downgrade on
    Petrucelle —> Corbett
    Collins —> Joyce
looked at hately as well but worried about job security with kelly and whitfield out.
    Any advice would be helpful

  28. What trades to do?

    T/U – Petruccelle & Libba -> Answerth & Fyfe/Bont

    T/D – Gibbons & Libba -> Answerth & Fyfe/Bont

    9

    0
  29. Which trade is better??

    T/U – Clark ($239k, Average 56, BE 55) to Stewart
    T/D – Srimshaw ($314k, Average 70, BE 59) to Sicily

    A couple more notes:
    – I’d slightly prefer getting Sicily but i can’t afford Clark to Sicily.
    – It’s also looking like Scrimshaw is best 22 and Clark isn’t quite when the Cats are fit
    – Clark hasn’t even made 100k yet, so he could still make another 50k or so.
    – Whoever i keep will be my M8 so I still have bench cover if i keep one that doesn’t play this week.

    Comments appreciated, thanks guys

    11

    1
    1. How long are you going to have to wait for that 50k? He’s a trade for me, he’ll be lucky to play this week after how he went last week and he was lucky to get a game last week as well. 100k isn’t a terrible result from a starting rookie.

  30. TU:
    OUT Gibbons, Butters
    IN Fyfe, Answerth

    TD:
    OUT Gibbons, Clark
    IN Fyfe, Answerth

Comment for Hately (only if picked), or if Butters & Clark need to go before Gibbons

  31. Gibbons to Answerth and either:

TU Petracelle to FWD less than $495k
TD Drew to FWD less than $543k

Comment for FWD suggestions either way please.

    5

    0
      1. Already have T Kelly, can’t afford C Daniel using Petra, so would you recommend trading Drew for Daniel in that case?

        4

        3
  32. I’ve played around with a few possibilities but (depending on team selections) this is most likely:

    Out: Butters, Clark
    In: Answerth, Daniel (via DPPs)

    6

    0
  33. Got the cash to bring in any mid prem I want with one trade….current byes structure is good. Bearing in mind who I already have, I’m looking at pendles or fyfe. pendles looks to be injury free…fyfe always a danger to get injured but higher ceiling.

    T/u pendles
    T/d fyfe

    7

    11
  34. Last chance saloon ??

So many decisions this week, but it boils down to two choices. This may well be the last week to get in fresh calves.

My thinking is currently that the prems will still be available at much the same price in a few weeks, but the calf fattening might nearly be over for the year.

T/u One trade for a prem, and one for a new rookie..answerth or corbett…dont trust hately js
T/d One upgrade and one only new calf.

    2

    4
  35. Just want some thoughts on this weeks trade. For context, was ranked in the 600’s before this round, but scored sub 2000 because of having to bench Whitfield and risking the C on Danger over Cripps (poor luck but how it goes I guess). As a result I dropped a ways and am now ranked in the early 2000’s.

Originally was going to trade in Fyfe and Hately for Petrucelle and Gibbons. Instead, I’ve decide to go JPK instead of Fyfe as a POD. JPK has been killing it this year, and I’m always wary of Fyfe being injured/suspended. Only risk is JPK’s form dropping off.

TU – Go with JPK, worthy POD
TD – Go with Fyfe, stay with the pack

    8

    12
    1. I have JPK on my radar for next round for the same reason. Great POD. I’ve gone Ryan down back this week for another POD. Any POD selection comes with risk, but hey, that’s why we love SC’ing. I say do it. Keep Fyfe locked into your future plans. Another thought on JPK is that he’s the form mid in an underperforming squad….he’s getting more touches.

      2

      0
  36. Fyfe, I’d say.

Excluding the concussion score of 63, Fyfe’s average (126.6) is +15 points higher than JPK’s (111.6). Also more likely that JPK’s form drops off before Fyfe gets injured again.

Plus, you can confidently put the VC/C on Fyfe- wouldn’t have the same surety with JPK.

    6

    2
    1. Neither. Brown likely back in for Joyce this week. Corbett has better JS than Larkey. You’d think.

      2

      -1
  37. Wine injury has potential to change trade plans. Debating trade out between Drew and Walsh. Added to Wines injury, Port has far easier month ahead than Carlton. So who to trade?

    TU – trade Drew
    TD – trade Walsh

    2

    2
      1. PS but tough game this week and BE is in the 90s. You can afford to wait a week if you want/need to. If he nails it again, he’ll likely only go up $5k and you can trade him in with more confidence, if he doesn’t, he’ll be cheaper and you can reassess. WIN/WIN. That’s my plan anyway 🙂

        2

        0
  38. Collins to Answorth

    Butters to Hately

Double downgrade this week depending on rookie selections at the suns and GIANTS.

Looking to go Petrucelle to Boak and one of Walsh, Constable, Smith into Neale.

    2

    0
  39. Considering the double down grade this week, trades would be

    Clark — > Answorth
Gibbons –> Hately/Corbett/Larkey (Not sure yet who I want to go to)

ITB would 520k for future upgrades. More than likely be going double upgrade next week with Lloyd and Neale a possibility.

TU Is that too much cash sitting around
TD Nah too many points lost and the rookies aren’t as good as we think. 1 UP 1 DOWN this week and same again next week.

    1

    3
    1. I’d wait on team drops. Nothing wrong with either approach for mine. If you’re gonna spend the money next week, i think it’s fine sitting there for one Rd.

      0

  40. Setterfield and Collins out, Answerth and Hately in. Leaves me 452k in the kitty for a double upgrade next week.

    3

  41. Not sure what to do here

TU – Brayshaw to Cunnington, Drew to Answerth Via Moore DPP
TD – Brayshaw to Daniel via Duursma DPP, Clark to Answerth

    3
        1. Hold Brayshaw for one more week Suns this week and hopefully that means plenty of points for Dees players including Brayshaw

  43. Which would be a priority trade this week

TU: Libba and Petrucelle out Fyfe and Answerth in

TD: Petrucelle and Gibbons out Answerth and Hately in

(Obviously depends on team lists tonight, if i go with TD, then i have serious coin for a double upgrade next week)

    4

    3
  44. If Constable isn’t named this week is a move to Hately a must? (Barring he’s named alongside the other star ins.)

    3

    1
  45. I see over 5k have traded danger out, what do we all think.
He is a sc gun , but really only has one big score for the year and team structure seems to have changed at the cats.
Probably out for a week and losing money for the next two that he does play!!

    0

    0
    1. Losing money is irrelevant, if you plan on having him in your side til the end.

Come SC finals, how confident are you if your opponent has Dangerfield and you’ve got…I dunno…Walters? Billings? Dunkley?

For mine, he’s still THE most bankable forward option. He’ll have some disappointing scores, they all do, but I don’t want my opponent to have him as a POD later in the season. Nor do I want to burn a trade to effectively cover a one week injury.

      9

      0
      1. I’m certainly not trading him BB ,(may have sounded like I was thinking that way) just offering reasons/wondering as to why some might.
You are right about losing money being irrelevant, unless those trading him
aren’t planning on having him in the end at all or may be planning to buy back in when he is cheaper.

  46. First time poster…

Getting rid of Gibbons this week, set on that. Looking to upgrade as I am not convinced on downgrading to Hately (JS)

    T/U : Fyfe

    T/D: Gaff

    24

    1
  47. Goal is to improve my mids in the coming rounds.
With $24k in the bank, my mids are:
    Cripps, M. Crouch, Coniglio, D. Sheed, T. Libertore, S. Walsh, S. Stack & Gibbons.
Bench: Constable, Atkins & B. Scott

Should I double downgrade this week for a double upgrade next week or 1 d/g and 1 u/g?

    T/U: J. Clark -> N. Answerth & J. Petruccelle -> Corbett
T/D: J. Clark -> N. Answerth & T. Liberatore -> Fyfe or Bontempelli (thinking Fyfe atm as I have less Freo players and attractive bye schedule).

    Thanks.

    7

    4
  48. Walsh and drew out.
Answerth and fyfe in and cash in bank for bont next week.
Mids will be, cripps, Neale, macrae, zerrett, m crouch, rocky, fyfe and bont.
Midfield will be finished apart from tinkering when rest of the side is done.

Can just focus on Whitfield and hurn now.
    So
Tu-Walsh for fyfe, bont, Neale or cripps is fine.
    Td-hold Walsh.

  49. Hi guys,

I originally planned to double downgrade Butters and Collins to Hately and Answerth, but with Hately not playing my plans have to change.

I have two options that i’m looking at, one is a double downgrade and the other is one down one up. Here’s what i’m looking at –

    TU
    Butters > Gaff
    Collins > Answerth
    ($116,400)

    OR

    TD
    Butters > Answerth
    Petch > Corbett
    ($515,500)

The first trade is only an option for me as if I don’t upgrade Butters i’d have to play two of either Answerth, Atkins, Gibbons or Hayes which doesn’t seem great but it leaves me a lot of money and it’s looking like Corbett could be one of the last good FWD rookies. On the other hand Gaff is a huge POD and is fallen at the moment.

  50. TU hold petrucelli fettucine for another week as he is up against the saints.
TD trade to corbett for some cash

  51. I am keeping Butters on the reserves and saving a trade until better rookies come in.

Whitfield being out again is good news for people who don’t have him like myself.

Can watch Moore and Hore go up in value for two more weeks knowing that Whitfield will decrease at least 30-40k after his first game day back. I have already penciled Moore for Whitfield.

I don’t know what to do with Stefan Martin though. Any advice?

  52. Now Teams have dropped id love some feedback. 300k and 23 trades:

DEF: Hurn Sicily Williams Smith Rozee Duursma (Collins clark)

MID: Cripps Treloar Oliver MCrouch Brayshaw Libba Walsh Ross (Atkin setters scott)

    RUCK: Gawn O’Brien (Bines)

FWD: Danger Cameron Heeney Dunkley Moore Drew (Burgess MLewis)

I’m thinking answerth is a must.
Double down or move on libba/brayshaw?
Feel free to throw more suggestions plz

  53. Simple one;
Got a few rookies that holding as still got value to make
T/U Collins to Joyce (JS) & petch to Corbett
T/D petch to Corbett, Joyce isn’t worth it because of job security

  54. Now the teams are out and Hately is not in the 22, thinking:

    TU: Butters to Answerth
Drew to Z. Williams (via DPP)
    TD: Butters to Answerth
    Petruccelle to Marshall

  55. Whaddaya reckon:

T/U – Collins to Answerth (leaving $275k in bank and 25 trades)
T/D – Collins to Answerth AND Drew to Boak ($4k in bank and 24 trades)

    Cheers

  56. Petruccelle into
    T/U: Daniel (Duursma on field)
    T/D: Ryan (Setterfield on field)
Comment: Corbett and make some coin

  57. I can bring in basically any forward.. Don’t currently have Kelly but considering Mundy or Cameron instead for a pod and both playing well.

    TU: just get Kelly in
TD: decide between Cameron and Mundy

  58. Wine injury has potential to change trade plans. Debating trade out between Drew and Walsh. Added to Wines injury, Port has far easier month ahead than Carlton. So who to trade?

    TU – trade Drew
    TD – trade Walsh

  59. Any value in sidewaysing Danger into Boak for the next couple of weeks until last weeks score falls out of the cycle? It’ll allow me to then upgrade Drew back into Danger when Danger’s price falls Drew maxes out his moneymaking potential which should be around the same time?

Otherwise I’m going Petrucelle into Corbett and Collins into Answorth. With an eye on Boak, Neale and Bont in the next few weeks.

  60. Sorry for the long one but I’m really second guessing myself. My team…

Whitfield Williams B.Smith Houli D.Moore Answerth (Duursma Clark)

Cripps Macrae Fyfe Rockliff B.Crouch Libba Walsh Drew (Constable Butters Scott)

    Gawn Mumford (O’Brien)

Boak Danger Heeney Billings Lobb Baker (Petruccelle Bines)

I have 209k in the bank atm and have 23 trades left and none yet this week are used. My thoughts…

TU Petruccelle and Butters out for Moore (Haw) and Kelly 111k left for next week

TD Petruccelle and Butters out for Moore (Haw) and Bont only 27k left

Comment – I can also just afford to trade out Libba/Crouch and Drew for Bont and Kelly.. Just.

Sorry about the long essay. Love done thoughts. Thanks guys

  61. Which rookies are people looking at NEXT week? With no newbies named this week, and all the single gamers looking pretty average (or dropped), it’s appears very thin over the next few weeks for downgrade targets.

Not super keen on Corbett, but the lack of rookies coming through makes a double downgrade this week more appealing.

    1. If no FWD rookies emerge, concentrate on upgrading your existing FWD rookies to premos. If you have the likes of Hore, Duursma, Answerth (even Scrimshaw) in DEFs and Walsh, Constable and Baker in your MIDs, two on each line seem good enough to play onfield each week for now, to facilitate that focus.
      Good luck!

    Petrecelle to Corbett

Build up cash for Macrae next week

  63. Trading out libba for
    Tu:bont
    Td:macrae
Was thinking of bont but I think macrae is about to pull out some massive scores

  64. J Clark to N Answerth is locked in and gives me roughly 410,000 to spend.

    Should I:
TU: Trade Gibbons to the Hoff by pushing W Drew to the mids and keep Constable for 1 more week before offloading him for J Macrae next week as I have sufficient cash to do so without requiring a downgrade.

TD: C Constable to J Macrae this round and save the 80,000 to 100,000 to use to try to get Lloyd in before the bye by trading Atkins and Gibbons in 1-3 weeks.

  65. T/U – Walsh to Fyfe
    T/D – Petch to Marshall
Averages for all players suggest a move for Marshall would bring greater on field points.

  66. What you guys think of Marshall?

His got under 100 once this year, with Longer not even being looked at atm he could continue to get some good points!

    Marshall – TU
    Dalhause – TD

    Gibbons and Pettrucelle out
Fyfe and Corbett in leaving me about 160k for upgrades next week??

  68. hey guys im thinking whitfield has to go now so.

    Whitfield – Crisp
    and
    Libba – macrae or Fyfe
    Thumbs up – Do it
    or
Thumbs down – Back to the drawing board
    Please help thanks!

    1. Think Libba to Fyfe is fine.
Do you not have a fattened cow to downgrade and build some cash up for another upgrade next week?! Both Corbett and Answerth look good enough to exploit.

      1

  69. TU: One up, one down – Butters to Answerth & Drew to T. Kelly ($7,600 in the bank)
TD: Double downgrade – Butters to Answerth & Petruccelle to Corbett ($337,500 in the bank)

    3

    6
  70. I have 2 trade options this week

    T/U – petch to Corbett
T/d – pull the trigger and go Dangerfield -> dunkley (pick up danger when he has a low breakeven, most likely with drew) and petrucelle —> Corbett
T/d leaves me with 270k in the bank to upgrade to Lloyd next week

    5

    2
  71. trade or hold libba? does he have a new role that limits his scoring? would really prefer to hold as his scoring has been pretty good and ideally upgrade onfield rookies instead….
    T/u trade him
    T/D hold

    4

    4
    1. A trade is justifiable if you’re gonna upgrade him to a beast, eg Neale, Cripps, Fyfe, Macrae or Bont, otherwise you’re justified in keeping him.
I picked Libba as a mid-pricer and was genuinely nervous before the season started. Now approaching Zen status (cf. Father’s CowTalk), I’ve traded him for Fyfe. Libba has way over-delivered on my initial expectations. I’m taking the cash and using it to gain a genuine top10 contender across ALL lines. With a downgrade trade too, I’ll be able to afford the same thing again next week!
Improving my team and average onfield points while constantly looking forward.

      Good luck whatever you decide!

  72. Collins to Answerth is a lock.
Have Parker at F6, Petch F7 and Bines at F8
    Looking at either:

T/U: Petch to Daniel (will only leave 2K in the bank)
T/D: Petch to Corbett (will leave 370K for next week)
Comment: Is Marshall worth the risk over Daniel?

    1

    6
    1. Yes he is. But you can afford to wait a week while that 50 runs through his 3RdAve. His BE is high 90s this week, but should drop significantly next week. Win!

  73. T/U – Butters to Answerth ($140k itb)
T/D – Butters to Answerth + Parker to a FWD Bubble Boy ($265k itb)

Just worried about a lack of rookies in the coming weeks, so thinking a double downgrade this week is necessary

      1. Thanks AllSaints.

Neither on field, so Parker will get the chop.
Also helps with BYES keeping Balta (cause points!).

  74. I’m looking to trade out J Clarke or Libba. I can trade in any premo.

    Who is more important?
    TU Lloyd
    TD Neale

    1

    11
    1. It depends on your D6 and M8.
If you’re trading Libba straight to Neale, you are likely improving your ave. weekly score by 20-25pts.
If bringing Lloyd in for Clark gives you a better pts differential (Lloyd’s ave. – your current D6’s ave), do that one first.
You are gonna need them both asap, but prioritise the one that gives you MORE immediate onfield pts.

NB, however they both have high BEs. If you don’t have Fyfe, he would likely be a better option than either of them. He should score close to Neale from here but will likely not be so cheap again. Both Neale and Lloyd should be cheaper next week!

Plenty to consider. All of which make sense.

      1. I have Fyfe already but I’m thinking Lloyd this week and then I can bring Neale in next week.

  75. Hi guys,

    TU
Butters > Bont (or another premo)
    Collins > Answerth
    ($79,100)

    TD
    Butters > Answerth
    Petrucelle > Corbett
    ($515,500)

I have to sit Whitfield again which is why the first trade is on my radar. I’m really thinking Corbett is not the best pick as I still have Setterfield and Balta on my bench.

    1. Given your circumstances (similar to mine re:Whitfield), I’d go TU. Would also consider Fyfe this week if you don’t have him.

      3

      1. Cheers AS

I’ve already got Fyfe, Crouch and Macrae so my options were Gaff, Pendles, Cunnington, JPK or Bont and I feel like Bont is the safest option and only 30k more than the others.

    IN: Answerth and…

TD: Dunkley at great value and moved into the midfield

  77. Hi Folks,

Plenty of $$$ in the kitty, it’s a question of who!
1st trade for the round is bringing in Answerth, 2nd trade I’m not so sure..

Looking at 3 options to bring in.

    2) T. Boak (gun forward suiting the bye structure that will also provide great immediate cover should Danger not play this week )

    3) The Hoff (Decent player at a great price point, provides good bye structure cover that can switch with Bines where required. Will also provide a bit of relief upfront in the event Danger doesn’t play provided he outscore my rookies of course).
    1) The Bont (set and forget trade that suits my bye structure well as I don’t have Macrae)

    TU: The Bont
    TD: Boak Man
    Comment: The Hoff

    Thanks Team!

  80. Hi Guys. If I have 2 emergencies in the forward line and I have 2 on field player not playimg will I get both the emergencies scores?? Appreciate your help please

    3

    1. Same Qs. just realised i used the captains loophole in the forward line and had an emergency to cover. Forgot Danger might be a late out. Hoping that i can set 2 emergencies in the same line to cover 2 outs. Not common i know but the fact you can set 2 must be the reason why. You wouldnt set 2 otherwise in the same line knowing you would get the lowest of those 2 scores. Help!
