      1. Lol, CT.

Reserved it so I could give recognition to the SCT Coach of the Week and plug the weekly wrap. Slight delay in the write up, that’ll be out tmmrw and pinned to the top of a fresh TT thread.

        1. I was just messing with you.

I knew that you would have reserved it for a good reason.

          Have a great week.

  1. Out: Martin and Daicos.
In: Cleary and super premo either mids or Forward

Then I will only gave 1 rookie to upgrade.

  2. Stoked I jumped on the bont last week.
    Thinking this week;

    Out; Nick Martin, SDK

    > Swing paddy mcartin forward

    In; Cleary, Stewart

Yes I might be going slightly early on SDK, however Stewart will be under 600 now and will complete my backline!!

    12
  3. Gicbus > Cleary, Nick Martin > Bont (hopefully Bont gets FWD DPP after R12 and I can swing him to FWD and add one more premo Mid)

    1. That’s exactly what I am thinking at this stage but still deciding whether to go Stewart or Witts first over Bont

      0

  4. With Duryea returning I feel like Cleary will get dropped. If he holds his spot, is it worth going:

    Skinner (deadwood) to Cleary?

    7

    5
  5. My trading this week is determined by my bye structure.
SDK and McCartin going nicely at D5 and D6.
    Clarke is at M8
    Forwards are set.
So no trades this week and hopefully not till round 13 when I can load up on players who have just had their bye – such as Docherty/Short & Walsh/ Parish.
I have $483K in the bank.

  6. What do I do with BOAK?
Has he been playing out of position the past couple of weeks which have translated to really abysmal scores?

T/U : Yep, trade him out.
T/D : Don’t rage trade, keep the faith

Currently ranked 1500 but Boak is letting me down.

    1. Exactly what I was going to ask, literally brought him in 2wks ago so all I’ve got from him is these 2 80’s lol

  7. I’ve only got one rookie left on field at D6 (SDK/McCartin) and was planning on upgrading that in round 13 after Docherty or Sinclair have their bye but do I just rush it this week? Trade options are

    TU: MacDonald down to Cleary
TD: SDK & McCartin to Cleary and Sinclair

    1. According to Brice Mitchell on twitter:

“FWD% needed in r11 to achieve 35% FWD in total r1-r11

      Bontempelli 1% FWD
      Bailey Smith 3% FWD”

They’ll get that by starting forward instead of just one CBA

      4

      2
      1. There is some key words missing above though – Need to be above 35% “to be considered”.

It’s no certainty even if that 35% forward time is hit.

        3

        6
        1. Pretty confident players gain dpp status with 35% playing time in another position automatically. If the 35% is hit, it is a certainty

          9

          3
          1. Cool, hopefully that is correct then. Wouldn’t mind an extra dog or 2 floating through the forward line!

            1

            1
  8. Thinking:

    Martin to Parker
    Rowell to Sinclair
    Gibcus to Cleary

Will leave me with 14 trades but full “premo”

    Def:
Short, Doch, Sinclair, Lloyd, Ridley, Ryan

    Mid:
Oliver, Neale, Macrae, Miller, Petracca, Hewett, Brayshaw, B. Smith

    Ruck:
    Witts, Preuss

    Fwd:
Dunkley, Parker, Brodie, Heeney, Butters, Coniglio

    17

      1. Thank you. Ranked about 2800 or so, so not amazing but at least the team looks half decent haha

        5

        0
  9. Walsh and Crisp in this week for Martin and Daicos. May use a boost to get in Cleary.

Only 1 upgrade left at M8, 15 trades left. Taranto, Butters, and Cogs sitting in the FWD line. I’m thinking that Taranto may make way for Bont next week. Greater CBA for Butters the last two weeks and Coniglio this week is encouraging

    1

    2
  10. Need a FWD under 500k to get Rioli off the field and finish my forward line. Is Darcy Cameron the real deal? Looks really good in that #1 RUC spot

    10

    13
    1. Bontempelli 38.8% FWD after round 10.
If 0% Forward in round 11 Bontempelli will be at 34.9% FWD
So he only needs to play a small 1% Forward to gain Fwd status.

      6

  11. Probably N Martin to D Martin up forward, and a r/f loop at r3. Leaves me with one rookie on-field (Daicos) heading into the byes, plus SDK and Mccartin for cash via downgrades.

    4

    7
    1. Hi Daniel, Do you still have ROB?

He went huge in SANFL as per post in Coaches box.

I gave a tick for your trades.

      2

      0
      1. I used my boost to trade out ROB when I heard Preuss was a late out, which helped me avoid a donut. I’ve now got cash for another upgrade (N Martin or Daicos, cant decide which) and the R/F loop lets me move Jackson forward, giving me better bye coverage.

Are you going to hold him and see how he goes? I’m assuming he’ll be back this week…

        0

        0
        1. I moved him on two weeks ago for Miller.
Will have to see if that was advantageous after last week’s disapointment but I expect so.
          All the best.

          0

          0
  12. Is it silly to be bringing in premiums this week or the next as they will automatically be missing one of the bye weeks?

    1

    10
  13. Is there anywhere keeping track of who’s played where to get an idea of dpp eligibility potential?

    0

    0
  14. Left field…Jade Gresham for M8.
6 scores over 100, with 2 in the 50’s which brings his price down.
Don’t have $ for another premo.

    Tu Yes
    TD No

    3

    19
  15. Really unsure about my m8 spot this week. I have Paddy Mac at d6 and SDK at f6 (really happy with their recent form and will leave them there till the byes) but nick martin has to go.

    Already have
Oliver Neale Laird Macrae Miller Cripps Petracca

Money isn’t an issue at all, just want the best midfielder I don’t have currently who will score the most from this point onwards…Walsh Parish and Bontempelli are on my radar

Is it worth bringing it Bont knowing that he should get Fwd/Mid and can get parish or walsh too?

    Tu: Bont
    Td: Walsh

    11

    20
      1. If you don’t have Petrucca or Bontempelli. Consider them first as they are currently cheaper and will score similar.

        4

        3
  16. Trades last round has cost me a shot at Bont this week (Cogs to Brayshaw instead of Matin to Bont), unless I offload Daicos

T/U JHF & Martin to Bazlenka & Cleary
T/U Daicos & Martin to Bont & Cleary (mix of SKD, McCartin & Clearly at D5/D6)

    7

    6
  17. Should Gawn be gone?

TU: 3 scores in a row below 90 and will continue to share the role with Jackson, yes.
    TD: Keep faith, it’s Gawn…

    5

    19
  18. Chapman, Rowell, Martin out

    Oliver, Stewart, Cleary in

Went with Miller over Oliver last week so that hurts. Daicos now my only on field to upgrade (except maybe butters and cogs)

    14

    0
  19. TU – OUT Martin & Rowell IN Mills & Cleary

TD – OUT Martin, Rowell & Daicos IN Brayshaw, Sinclair & Cleary (Defence is full premo but dont have Tom Stewart, and am fucked for round 13 bye)

    8

    3
    1. The thumbs up option looks a lot worse for your round 13 team. I’d almost be doing Brayshaw over Mills for the bye alone right now

      1

      0
  20. O’Driscoll to Cleary.

Leaves me 19 trades and $346k with 1 rookie on each line to upgrade over the next 3-4 weeks.

    Initially looking at;
    De Koning to Cumming
    Daicos to Merrett
    Hayes to Gawn
    Martin to English

Hopefully can do all this with 13 trades left and then get a decent loophole player for each line too

    5

    4
  21. Bit reluctant to trade SDK away with his recent form but a cash cow is a cash cow.

Wondering too if its time to conserve some trades for the byes after using all my boosts.

    Options:

    TU – just one trade – SDK-Cleary
    TD – SDK-Cleary and Rosas-DeGoey

    23

    2
  22. Who’s the better buy this week? Unfortunately, I can’t stretch the budget for both.

    TU: Stewart to complete backline
TD: Bont (with the intention to move him forward)

    24

    5
  23. Have the money to do a double up this week after burning a trade boost to bring in Rory Thompson for his expected job security. I am short of R12 players so need to avoid them this week.

    Nick Martin is at F6:
Probably a week late but Darcy Cameron looks very tasty with a F/R coming up and scoring 100’s in his ruck only role. Grundy listed at 8 weeks so should get at worse 6 and best the whole season from this pick.

    Jason Horne-Francis is at M8:
Tom Stewart looks like the best defender available at the bottom of his current price cycle. Bontempelli is a good mid option with M/F upcoming and Witts is the premier ruck (pushing Hayes to R3, Dixon to F8, Rioli/Clark/McComb to loop as M8), all are R13 bye so need to review bye structure there.

I can trade in on any line, its really about which rookie I am getting off field.

TU: Trade for Witts, Rioli/Clark/McComb as M8
TD: Trade for Bont/Stewart, Hayes at R2

    13

    2
  24. Last midfield spot….

Macrea, Neale, Oliver, Laird, Miller, Cripps, Walsh and ??????

TU – Mills. Pay the coin.
TD – Petracca, Bradshaw, etc Bank some coin.

    4

    27
  25. TU Nic Martin + MacDonald > Cleary + Heeney (cheap upgrade keeps SDK and Daicos in team)

    Or

TD Nic Martin + Daicos > Bont + Cleary (get him now before DPP change)

    4

    9
  26. Using my last trade boost to go
Daicos, MacDonald, Gibcus >> Witts, Stewart, Cleary.
    Backline complete.
Rucks might be complete with Witts & Preuss, although an end of season sideways trade of Preuss might happen if I trust any of the others. At this stage I don’t.
Still holding H.Dixon, McCartin & SDK to make another 30K and upgrade to warm bodies for round 13. I think Walsh comes in then. And see what fresh DPPs have happened for the forward line at Round 12.

    6

    0
  27. 2nd Last defender option. I can upgrade Lloyd for one of them later also.

    TU: Sinclair+30k
    TD: Hewett

    5

    17
    1. Further to this which is the better trade.

TU: Gibcus & NOD > Cleary and Sinclair/Hewett
TD: Gibcus & Hayes > Cleary and Witts (run MCcartin at M6 for the moment)

      7

  28. Just wondering come finals time how many doggies we’ll have forward…
Bont, Dunks, Libba, Smith, English… now who from the dogs gunna fill F6?
    😉

    11

    0
    1. Treloar as F6 🙂 🙂

Perfect – 6 x doggies in the FWD line!!

And we are all cooked if the Doggies get badly beaten one week

      7

  29. Trades this week:
    Martin,Gibcus & Daicos > Sinclair, Tracca & Cleary.

With these I might have to forefeit Rd 13 15 players but gives me 19 players for Rd12 and Rd14.

    6

  30. Feedback much appreciate guys!

    N. Martin > B. Smith via DPP + $28,000 in the bank
    N. Martin > W. Brodie + $56,000 in the bank

    Thanks 🙂

    15

    2
  31. What should be prioritized first:
T/u – Bring in Bont/Baz into the midfield with the intention to swing them forward
T/d – Finish the backline and bring in Crisp/Doch

    5

    9
  32. Thoughts on tom Mitchell breakeven of 125 has the round 14 bye
Has been promised more inside mid supposedly by Sam Mitchell

    4

    2
    1. He’s hard to ignore at that price.

I may wait a week to make sure as his BE is still 125 so should still be cheap next week.

      3

      0
    2. Where did you hear that from Mitchell Finn? I hadn’t caught up on that. If true, he becomes almost irresistible.

      2

      0
      1. Someone on this site mentioned it last week but maybe it’s a rumour idk we’ll have to have a look at the CBA’s this week

        1

        0
        1. Mitchell had the third most CBA’s last week at about 50%.

Much like Dunkley he still plays as a midfielder. He comes up to stoppage even if not starting in the centre. His heat map looks great.
He really helps my Byes and I think I will get him in either this week or next.

          1

          0
  33. Current team

Def: Hewett crisp short Dawson ridley Chapman : SDK, Cleary

Mids: Neale, McRae, Oliver, Miller, Cripps, Keyes, mccomb, Clark, : odriscol, MacDonald, owens

    Ruck: Witt’s, Pruess, Hayes

Fwds: English (yep held him) Dunkley, Brodie, Cameron, butters, cogs: Rioli, RF loop

Downgraded Martin already so have 1 trade and 419k for an upgrade. Need someone on the round 14 bye …

    Thoughts.
Ideally a mid but could also get Sicily for McDonald and move a defender into the mids for a few weeks and then upgrade Chapman into a Premo mid across the byes

    2

    1
    1. MacDonald to Walsh. 17K left over. Playing round 14, has Round 12 bye. Gives you 7 mid premos.

      3

      0
      1. Problem with bringing in rd 12 bye players is that I only have 17 active in rd 12 if I do that.

Will bring in Walsh/parish ect after their bye at M8 to complete my mids

        1

        0
        1. Sorry, I misunderstood. You mean you need someone who has the bye in round 14? MacDonald to Andrew Brayshaw and add 50K to that 17 in the bank.

          1

          0
          1. I’m going to stay away from Freo players. They have a tough run home (aside from West Coast in RD22 so I might look to luxury trade him in then.

Looking at Sicily, Petracca, maybe Titch if his mid role is back or Darcy if I want to gamble at R2

            0

            0
  34. SDK > Cleary
    McCartin > Sinclair
    Rowell > Bont

    15 trades left – Weak links – Def = Lloyd, Mid = Cripps/Baz, Ruck = Pruess R2, FWD = Butters/Cogs/DeGoey

    12

    2
  35. Thinking

Out- SDK, Patty McCartin, Joel Smith

In- Tom Stewart, Marcus Bontempelli, Jesse Motlop

Thinking the big guns make going early on the others a good option?

    10

    1
  36. T/U SDK > Stewart/Sinclair

    T/D Hayes > Witts/Gawn

Both are on field, which is better to upgrade this week?

    2

    15
  37. Nic Martin to Walsh and midfield complete.
Daicos to Leary if he looks to keep his spot.

    13

    1
  38. that is exactly what I am doing at this stage, just need to decide if it’s better to bring in Witts for Martin via Xerri or grab Bont now

    0

    0
  39. 18 trades left, 1 boost, 380k in the bank
Going Gibcus to Cleary and Nick Martin has to go. Have Paddy/De Koning D5/D6 and Xerri R2 currently on field that can be shuffled around to play

T/U – Stewart via De Koning
    T/D – Bont
    Comment – Witts via Xerri

    4

    3
  40. Who do I get rid of
TU: Daicos cos he’s not gonna make any more cash
TD: McCartin cos he doesn’t suit my byes

    14

    11
    1. “Tim English was able to complete a game like training session on the weekend. Is back to full energy and is knocking down the door to be considered this week.”
Head of Sports Medicine Chris Bell

      7

      0
  41. Who would you rather have
    – TU scicily & Rowell
    – TD – laird & hinge

Will have a complete midfield if I upgrade to laird

Will be one player off a full defence if i upgrade to sicily

    12

    7
  42. Have pencilled Cleary in- but worried with English, Duryea, Johannisen & possibly Weightman coming back.
Love the big cash grab from a McCartin>Cleary trade, and have cover down back in DeKoning and full premo, but worried that Cleary will make way.
Any dog supporter who’s watched the games got a feeling on how Cleary will go long term?

    6

    0
    1. I have watched both of Cleary’s games, and he definitely looks right at home.

Very composed, good intercept mark, and uses the ball well.

However, does he play in front of Duryea or Johannisen is the big question – who I understand are both due to return this week (and are in the Bulldogs best 22)?

Cleary would be seriously stiff to miss out based on his past two performances – so will be interesting to see what they do at selection this Thursday.

Don’t really want to trade in a potential donut through the byes!!

      6

      0
  43. Which one to join N Martin to be traded out this week – doesn’t really effect my bye plan

TU : Daicos (R14 bye, predicted to drop another $7k this week)
TD : Gibcus (R12 bye, pretty much cashed out)

    4

    19
  44. Risky to get Bont now just in case he doesn’t get FWD?

Like to hear peoples thoughts / some info

Will he get FWD? Or Baz more likely?

    4

    0
    1. Pretty much I’ve heard Bont and Baz would have to play 100% mid in the next game for them not to get DPP status. Pretty safe bet

      6

      0
  45. Anyone looking at Swallow from Suns? Tonned up last 3 games, $445,000 and DPP. Real deal or just a hot streak? I know I doubt he’ll be top 8-10 in either positions but if he’s getting more of the pill could be a sneaky POD since every team is looking more and more alike. Thoughts?

    11

    2
    1. Sure worth a try. With the extra trades you can always upgrade to another D6 and have him as a D7/M(9/10) swing

      3

      0
  46. After not having him all season, I can’t believe I’m saying this but it HURTS.

Is it too late to trade in Will Brodie 🙁

TU: Keeper, will stay top 6-8 forward
TD: All good things come to an end, he will burn soon. Too late.

    25

    13
    1. Tough one Ben, I just couldn’t trade him in now at 525k knowing i could have had him for 225k at start of season. But that’s just me being stubborn. Seems like a fine pick still based on form. Hopefully his game isnt affected too much when Fyfe returns.

      1

      0
    2. People frothed over Parker after 3 100+ scores, and 3 poor scores, with an average of 96, at $475k.

Brodie is (only) $525k, has 6 100+ scores, a floor of 75, a wicked ceiling, and is averaging 105 (3 rd avg of 127).

I think he has to be considered given the inconsistency that most forwards have shown this season! If I didn’t start with him I would’ve traded him in by now.

      2

      0
  47. Moving to a break glass plan now, because I suspect Cleary is getting dropped this week and there are NO other suitable downgrade options.

In one trade, Nic Martin to:

    TU: Titch is back!
TD: DCameron, who is scoring like a premo and will get DPP next week

    13

    8
    1. I was just about to ask if Cleary is a must have cause I don’t think I can bring in another round 13 player (only 17 playing that week if MacDonald and Hamilton are both named, 15 otherwise). Reckon he just gets turfed with Duryea and Johannisen back?

      9

      0
  48. Better trade to make this week for my ruck;

    TU; Sam Hayes > English
    (Mcartin f6)

TD; Mcartin > Witts (via dpp swing)
    (Rioli/Rosas f6)

    14

    1
  49. Gibcus, Rowell & Martin to

TU Crisp, Petracca & Cleary (1 Def, 1 Mid & 2 Fwd to complete team, $544K itb)

TD Crisp, Petracca & Parker (1 Def, 1 Mid & 1 Fwd to complete, $120K itb)

Will have 19 trades & 1 boost left either way.

    1

    14
  50. Is Preuss a keeper and therefore worth bringing in even now?

Yes, I know I missed the boat when seeing him as a money maker. But with a 110 avg at 460K its just a mindset change isn’t it?

TU – Yes, he’s a keeper, grab now before he goes over 500K
TD – No, too much risk, hold out for a Witts/English after byes

    13

    14
    1. English is wasted in the ruck, he is better suited to F1,F2. He also may start back with a light load. As for rucks, that really depends who you already have.

      4

      2
    2. I think it was the great FD that said the only decision to ponder about is the one to be made, not what may have happened before.

      4

      0
    3. No risk with Pruess I’ll will be keeping him, playing English fwd and having Witts or Gawn along side Pruess.
He has been banging out good scores every week and had a nice rest as not required against west coast

      1

      0
  51. Trade in:
T/U: Stewart (at bottomed out price)
T/D: Sinclair (suits byes better and also at good price)

    14

    12
    1. Assuming 1 trade is

      Martin to Titch

Is Cripps to Petracca also a good idea given his (Cripps) scoring has dropped off and Petracca has a better bye

TU yes do it cripps is a burn man get out with the money and better byes.

TD: nope he’s a keeper and you are still 1 -2 short of full premo (depending how you rate heath Chapman)

      3

      10
  52. Daicos > Cleary
    Ward > Sinclair

This will finish off my backline. If Clearly gets dropped, might go a week early on Wehr but we’ll see. Cheers

    8

    0
    1. Its a tough one…..with Worner back there I can loop each week, but to have both on the bench is a lot of mulah.

      3

      0
    2. Imo, DeKoning is only improving each week and will be a long term player.
I’m in the same boat as you- have both and looking to trade one as well.
How lucky have we been that both have been building up in scores and really reliable?
Reliable rookie defenders are like hens teeth!

I’m looking to trade McCartin due to 2 reasons- one, he’s hit his cash max imo, and two, concussion is always one match away.
Really hope he plays on and gets some continuity- and him playing is a real great footy story!

      1. An unfortunate but very well made point, Kota.

I’m running both on field now, the two of them are rock solid in terms of scoring. SDK growing in confidence and McCartin stringing 4 quarters together lately.

When the time comes to move one though, it’ll be McCartin yeah.

        1

  53. Daicos is D6 and McCartin D7. They are my only rookies ready to cash in. I have Clark at M8 but otherwise full premo.

TU – Daicos and McCartin out for a premo and Cleary.

TD – Keep Daicos and McCartin through the byes, which would mean taking a break on upgrades for at least a week or two until some other rookies fatten up.

    8

    6
  54. T/U – Stewart to finish defence
T/D – Walsh to finish midfield

    Cheers fellas

    1. Not to call you out or anything mate but there are some females on this page also and females who really enjoy supercoach like myself. I’m not offended or anything but would just appreciate you to maybe re-word that next time 🙂 Thanks

  55. TU-Daicos, N.Martin, SDK-Sinclair, Cleary, dunkley or Bont (Using last boost)

TD-N.Martin, Macdonald- Sinclair and cooper stephens

    3

    2
    1. Adding on to that ^^^

TU on comment N.Martin, Macdonald-Bont, cleary(if get bont it will mean have to field Rosas F6 this week)

      2

      0
  56. T/U – Martin to Cleary (SDK F6) + MacDonald to D Cameron/Gresham, leaves Clark M8

T/D – Martin to Cleary + Gibcus to Bont (Rioli F5 and Rosas F6, MIDS complete) then swing Bont FWD when he gets DPP

    1

    6
  57. Who to trade?

    T/U – Daicos
    T/D – SDK

Probably suits my byes better to hold Daicos, but SDK still has a bit more coin to make!

I was on twitter and saw that they were revaled, however, you needed to be a member to see.

    1. Here is few notable prospects:

Marcus Bontempelli — Likely to gain M/F
Bailey Smith – Likely to gain M/F
Robbie McComb – Certain to gain M/F
Ben Hobbs – Certain to gain M/F
Darcy Cameron – Certain to gain FWD/RUCK
Connor Rozee – Certain to gain FWD/MID
Mark Blicavs – Certain to gain DEF/RUCK

      Maybe’s
      Rowan Marshall : FWD 33% RUCK 66%
      Jayden Short : DEF: 59 %, MID: 32%, FWD: 9%

      Unlikely:
      Travis Boak : MID 71%, FWD 29%
      Sam Walsh : MID 73% FWD 27%
      Tom Mitchell : MID 74% FWD: 26%
      Max Gawn : RUCK 71% FWD 29%

*Some tasty prospects for the future round, if the “unlikely’s”can increase their forward rolls a bit more.

  60. Currently have Hewett, Crisp, Short and Ridley in the backline. Thinking of trading Gibcus to Cleary and Martin to Sinclair via DPP with McCartin

Also thinking of trading Daicos to Stewart but it would mean trading Gibcus to a non playing rookie like Uwland instead of Cleary. Is it worth trading to a non playing rookie just to get Stewart?

    T/up – Yes

T/down – No, look at others like Docherty or Dawson

    4

    16
  61. $289k itb. Can do either…

    T/u Rowell to Oliver
T/d Rowell to Titch, N Martin to Treloar (fwd)

Second option better suits byes. Titch m8 for now.

    14

    11
  62. 40K & 18 trades left, 1 boost.
    Got SDK/Gibcus at D6
    Clark/McComb at M8
    McCartin/Rioli at F6

TU: Aim long term and no trades this week
TD: Keep going with 1-up, 1 down this week

    0

    15
  63. Can’t decide between these two trades, any advice welcome:

TU: Daicos, Martin, SDK > Parker, Sinclair, Cleary

TD: Daicos, Martin > Oliver, Cleary

    My team is:

DEF: Sicily, Hewett, Crisp, Dawson, Short, McCartin (SDK, Khamis)

MID: Neale, Laird, Macrae, Parish, Miller, Cripps, Daicos, Clark (Horne-Francis, O’Driscoll, McComb)

    RUCK: Gawn, Preuss (S. Hayes)

FWD: Dunkley, Brodie, Heeney, Butters, Coniglio, N. Martin (MacDonald, M. Rioli)

17 trades left, 2 boosts, 100k in bank

    8

    6
  64. My backline is : Sicily, Stewart, Crisp, Dawson, Short – with one remaining premium spot, that I want to finish this week.

    TU : Hewett $563,800 – AV 118.1, BE 91
    TD : Sinclair $530,200 – AV 110.3, BE 67

Both with R12 bye, but not ready to finish off my midfield yet (one premium player to go), and waiting on those DPP updates to decide on which players to finish my forward line (2 premium spots remaining).

If there was some better rookie options this week, I’d be tempted to do a double downgrade for cash for the byes, but with 4 rookies still onfield, I prefer the option of one up and one down this week.

    16

    1
  65. Currently have Hayes at R2 still
Is it worth it to go dekoning too Cameron this week so when he gets dpp next week I can trade out Hayes swap Cameron to R2 and get any other position??

    0

    4
    1. Nah. Cameron was good value as a stepping stone and he’s mostly stepped up by now

If you want a RD14 bye ruck your better off moving both Hayes and SDK this week for Darcy as a POD

      4

      0
      1. What do u think about going hinge to Cleary this week and then dekoning and Hayes too Darcy/Gawn and a rookie next week

        1

        0
        1. Everything depends on your Bye structures.
I’d do an upgrade this week if you can afford it to a premo that suits your byes but don’t force anything.

I’d either move Hayes this week or Hold him until Rd15.

I would plan to do 0 trades in rd 12 if you can help it.

Once the byes start you only need 18 players so having a weak ruck line doesn’t matter all that much. just bring in players who have already had their bye. you can do your final ruck upgrade in rd 15

          1

          0
          1. I reckon trading Hayes out next week could make sense if you have Preuss, Hayes and one of Gawn or Darcy cause the only time you’ll have Hayes on field is that very last bye and it could be worth downgrading him next week when dpps hit to have cash for upgrades through the byes

            0

            0
  66. Trades this week are in defence.

    Bowey to Cleary
    Gibcus to Sinclair

That leaves me with Clark in the midfield as my only rookie on field. I plan to upgrade Clark on his R13 bye.

Then I am seriously looking at using my final boost to go:

    Gawn to Witts

Currently have Gawn, Preuss (Hayes) in the ruck.

I am really worried about Gawn’s form and Witts is flying with a good run. I can always trade Preuss back to Gawn after Gawn’s R14 bye if Gawn starts scoring well again. Their price projections have them almost the same price going into R15.

I have gone hard with trades and will have 14 trades left and one boost if I do not trade Gawn.

    TU: Gawn to Witts

TD: Forget it, stick with Max and save the trade and boost

  67. Novice at this game and need help to decide where to trade..my team is..
    Def.Lloyd,Short,Crisp,Hewett,Stewart,Sicily(Dekoning,Mcdonagh)
    Mid..Mcrae,Oliver,Neale,Cripps,Brodie,Miller,Rowell,Mcomb(Clark,Stephens,Mcdonald)
    Ruck..Witts,Preuss(Hayes)
    Fwd..Dunkley,English,Heeney,Butters,Coniglio,Martin(Rosas,Rioli)
    Plenty of trades (26) 2 boosts…where to go to improve team…round 13 is a nightmare…

    1. Maaaaate if you dont trade soon you gonna have some trades left over,
Bloody good side for so little trades , look at Maccas bye planner and then start painting the town red,and or take the hit on round 13 and still paint

      2

      0
    2. That’s a really good team considering only 9 trades used! But you’ve got enough trades now to use two per week. Just go hard and don’t stop

      2

      0
      1. Didn’t start playing until round 3 therefore the trades..no doubt I can use 3 trades during byes..thanks but who to trade out and in.

        0

        0
        1. I’d prioritise upgrading Rowell. U could trade N.Martin as well, unless that’s Dusty? Maybe dg Dylan Stephens. It depends on what funds u have before trades

          0

          0
    3. Martin + Rowell out.

      Rookie + Petracca in.

Then prepare to use Boosts over the byes to sideswap

      1

      0
    4. You probably have enough trades left to be able to boost and sideways trade your way out of trouble through the byes.
Regarding trades to fill your side, not necessarily in this order but –

Lloyd > Docherty,Sinclair or Dawson and your backline is finished. (Docherty & Sinclair both playing round 13 and round 14 & Lloyd has the bye R13)
      Brodie to the Forward Line.
Rowell & McDonald & Clark when cooked > Laird, Walsh, Mills (Laird and Mills Round 13 bye – Walsh has already had his bye in Round 12 and is playing Round 13. Dekoning to Walsh via DPP somehow?)
Maybe Preuss to Gawn on Preuss’s bye if Gawn has recovered his scoring and Hayes to a cheap rookie to free up some money.
Martin > either Bailey Smith or Bont after they get forward status. (Both R13 bye)
Sideways trade Butters & Coniglio to anyone better (Parker R13 bye) if they start to stink it up again.
Now how you find the money and rookie upgrades to do this I have no idea.

      0

      1
    5. Looking at this again. By my count you have 13 playing in rd 13

So a boost + 3 bye trades will get you to 17 players (after sideswaps)

(Assuming you do Martin > rd 13 rookie (only rookies availiable this week) and Rowell to Petracca.

So you will have to trade in RD12 either a sideswap or maybe try and do a double downgrade and scrape together enough cash for a Titch/Zerrett/Bailey from a non playing player like Stephens/McDonald

  68. Bevo’s comment doesn’t inspire me that Cleary will get many more games.
Quote: “Cleary has had a couple of games which has been terrific. He’s gone OK. But Taylor is a chance to come in.” Luke Beveridge
See what happens he only needs to get me through the bye rounds.

    11

    0
    1. NEITHER.

Wines a butcher and even at his best could only do 115 and Crouch a terrible option to start the year and somehow gotten worse considering he’s been dropped and not in the 22 rn.

I’d be paying up for the Top 8/thereabouts MIDs, however if you need a cut price MID (using Wines as your budget) I’d be looking at:

      – Brayshaw
      – Keays
      – B. Smith

      3

      2
      1. Thanks mate I meant brad crouch tho what do u think about that
Also already have brayshaw and no doggies players or keays suit my 8 premo out round 13 bye

        0

        0
        1. Oh, pfff. Sorry lol.

Just always driven me nuts how people have rated M. Crouch.

Yeah, honestly, I don’t mind the B. Crouch pick at all. Whole Saints engine room need to step up in Steele’s absence and he was really good last week.

          I like it.

          2

          2
      2. A butcher ? lol-
Wines feeling his way back predicted 122 average from here on and i would agree
        Brownlow medalist
Centre bounce bull will make you look so silly for those comments by the years end.
558000 for 122 average could be a masterstroke if he fits your bye Finn

  69. Hi everyone currently splitting hairs over who to bring in out of Bontempelli and Luke Parker.

My Midfield. Oliver, Neale, Mills, Macrae, Petracca, Cripps, Merrett, Clark. With Ward, Hough and Rioli on the bench.

My forwards. Dunkley, Dusty, Coniglio, Degoey Mccartin, Rosas and Curtis and Macdonald on bench.

De Koning -> Cleary and Ward to Bont? Or De Koning -> Cleary and Macdonald to Parker?

    6

    3
    1. If I get parker I can also boost and get tom mitchell for degoey. Or is that not a good move

      1

      5
      1. Focus on getting rookies off field first. If you really don’t believe in de goey and have plenty of trades then maybe but I reckon wait till next week and Titch could be a cheap upgrade

        5

        0
    2. Hey, Tonio.

Just watch teamsheets on Cleary. Could be replaced by Duryea after some word mincing from Beveridge today. Even if he holds, I wouldn’t be confident he plays through the byes.

SDK also solid on field and still with some coin to make. Can you find the cash elsewhere?

On Bont v Parker, you’d be going Bont every day of the week yeah. He still does look tender and had a small mid-game niggle last week, so I’d actually hold off till next week when he locks in DPP and gets past that tenderness. Bont in full flight as a FWD a must have.

Any other moves you can make this week? Maybe post your full team?

      2

      0
      1. Thankyou gunboat will go bont then just want to get these rookie players off my field.

My defence is, sicily, hewett, crisp, lloyd, ridley and de koning with khamas and gibcus on bench

        Rucks are witts and preuss

17 trades and 1 boost left

        1. Yeah, waiting a week on Bont would have been nice but not essential.

Sounds like a solid set up.

  70. Is it worth trading McCartin or SDK for Cleary?
TU – yes get Cleary in
TD – keep both as they have money to make and look for a different downgrade in coming weeks

    1

    14
    1. The only problem with this is… how many def rookies who score reasonably have been options in the first 10 rounds and how many more will come.
How many jumped on Khamis(12-ouch) or Thompson for durability and regretting it?
If Cleary named I’m getting him in- mature age and shown good skills- hopefully can hold and generate cash- McCartin & DeKoning great bench cover- but I need the cash generation to build my side!

      1

      1
  71. Is it better to complete defence with Sinclair or complete midfield with brad crouch
    TU: Defence first
    TD: Midfield first

    16

    0
    1. I think for this second round, you need to have played 6 games, which rules Khamis out unfortunately. McComb should get FWD/MID though.

      2

  72. With CBA’s coming out I’ve just seen cooper Stephens getting the 10 for Geelong is he worth it or is the rookie move still Cleary: Both coaches are shithouse with giving rookies games so what do u think
    TU: Cleary
    TD: Stephens

    0

    8
    1. I won’t be surprised if Cleary gets dropped for Duryea when teamsheets release tonight.

Keep an eye out, might make the decision for you.

      6

      0
      1. Why would you think that Abs ?

I thought Cleary was taking Bailey Williams mid sized defender role as he’s been moved to a wing. I though Duryea was more a lock down small defender.

Cleary and Duryea played in the same side in Round 9.

I see Buku getting dropped before Cleary .

        2

        2
        1. Beveridge seemed to be talking about Cleary and Duryea interchangeably, FT. Think that’s what is raising alarm bells.

The Dogs backline is also getting a little too unaccountable. None of Richards, Daniel or Cleary really defended last week. So I’d guess Duryea comes back as a seasoned body with a defensive mind and stick with Dale as the distributor. Dogs will know that oppositions will start to exploit a backline where half of them aren’t playing a man on man or zone defense.

Essendon a prime example of that.

          4

          0
    2. Danger on ice definitely helps Stephens.

I’d have him slightly ahead of Cleary. Doubt he can keep Duryea out of the side through the byes.

      3

      0
  73. TU: just Ward to Soligo (save my upgrades for the byes)

TD: McCartin to Soligo via DPP; Daicos to Stewart (leaves me with 18 trades, only one rookie onfield – Clark)

I think I know my answer now I’ve written it out…

    4

    11
  74. Not including bye structures – which defender to trade in for rest of year

    TU – Stewart
    TD – Sicily

  76. I was doing some player score research on the Supercoach site today and noticed an anomaly in my searches.
Macrae doesn’t appear in any searches before round 7.
Does anyone else see the same thing?
Has anyone else noticed it with any other players.

    0

    3
    1. Hey Dom – I found last week if I was trying to look at season 2021 stats on Andrew Brayshaw, that his entire season’s scores were not there – it was just blank. This week, it’s back. I tried PC, mobile & IPAD and same problem, so maybe a temporary glitch? I checked on Macrae and all games appear – maybe turn off PC/mobile & reboot?

      1

      0
      1. Thanks Lisa.
Yes all games appear on Macraes individual player list, but if I go into the full player list and arrange by average score or round points etc Macrae appears nowhere in rounds 1 to 6. So if I want to know which players scored over 150 in Round 4 or Round 5, Macrae does not show.
        PC has been restarted.
He doesn’t appear on the app on my android phone either.
So I think you are correct in saying “glitch”.

  77. Anyone know if Wehr will keep his spot for the next couple weeks?

I really dont want to go early, but my team greatly benefits from a rookie defender, so if he till at least after the bye I will be happy to pick him up.

  78. Hey guys so probs looking at Daicos and Gibcus out and Cleary in, now I missed the Hewett boat at the start if the year so is ot worth jumping now or go Stewart?
Sicily, Short, Sinclair, Ridley, Daicos and SDK on field atm most weeks

    TU- Hewett
    TD- Stewart

    6

    2
  79. With the teams announced my original plans were:
    Chapman to Sinclair
    Rowell to Soligo

Now looking at trading Preuss to Witts, will leave me with 17 trades and 2 boosts.

    Thoughts?

    7

    1
  80. thinking 2 downgrades this week: rowell to stephen’s and martin to jeffrey’s? or 1 up and 1 down so martin to english?

    tu – 2 downgrades
    to – 1 up 1 down

    11
  81. Bringing in Sinclair
With Cleary out should I do Stephens instead?
The only way this works tho is if I have to bench daicos in the backline and field Greg clark and one or Rioli/rosas/durdin

TU: That’s fine Daicos can sit on the bench
TD: No way having daicos off while rioli and Clark sit on field is ludicrous

    7

    0
  82. Doing nick martin to Sinclair/Dawson to finish my defence.
Rucks are Witt’s preuss and Hayes.
Can go preuss straight to Gawn but takes a little bit of cash. Do I hold and wait another week or two which I originally planned to do and wait for Gawn to drop in price more?
    TU preuss to Gawn
TD hold preuss for a couple more weeks

    2

    6
  83. If Hayes is out, and my inkling is with Dixon back and wet weather he won’t play.

Tu) Preuss & SDK -> Witts and Wehr

Td) JDG & Hayes -> English and Stephens / Jeffrey

    3

    6
  84. Thought I had it sorted, Cleary not named stuffed my trade strategy – help me please:

TU: Gibcus, Martin,Preuss out and Sinclair, Bont, Strnadica (bench) in with one rookie left to upgrade on field
TD: Gibcus, Martin out and Sinclair, C Stephens in 2 rookies left on field

    Cheers,

  85. G’day fellas.
    Trades 19 (1 Boost)
    284k ITB
DEF: Sicily, Hewett, Crisp, Dawson, Short, Daicos, (McCartin, SDK)
MID: Oliver, Neale, Laird, Macrae, Walsh, Cripps, Brayshaw, Clark (Rioli JR, Hamilton, Uwland)
    RUC: Gawn, Preuss, (Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Brodie, Heeney, Butters, Cogs, Martin, (Rosas, Curtis)
Stuck again. No idea what to do. Suggestions very very very very much appreciated. Don’t want to use my last boost and not to bullish on bringing in the Bont until he officially gets the DPP, but happy to do either if it is necessary. Not too phased by bye structure either as I know it will all fall apart anyway.
    Thanks so much

    1. Martin out.
SDK or McCartin fwd via dpp.

Uwland to Def via Dpp .

      2 options

      1 upgrade Martin to Bont

2 downgrade Martin to rd 13 midfielder + upgrade Daicos to premium defender

      1. Agree with this entirely, I’d bring in Stewart and Stephens as the ins if you aren’t worried about byes

  86. I was hoping to save the last boost for the byes, but CARNAGE! so…..

    OUT: NMartin, Preuss and Rosas
    IN: Witts, DCameron and SButler

I know Butler is a terrible option, but he’s cheap, playing and has DPP status which will be useful during the byes. Cameron also gets DPP status next week and with Grundy still over a month away, he’ll be very handy for a while at least. Witts is the form ruck in the comp and should smash the Hawks this weekend. He also suits my bye rounds.

    4

  87. I’m planning to bring in bont and stewart to my side but have to decide on one this week and one the next. Who should I bring in this week?
    Tu Bont
    Td Stewart

    13

    3
  88. My rucks are Witts Preuss, Hayes

If Preuss and Hayes are both out, would it be worth bringing in English to forward line, downgrading Hayes to a floating R/F and with the cash made bring in Bont after his bye?

    4

    0
  89. Why are any the rookie options I’m needing to trade in this week all having the R13 bye? C Stephens / Soligo / Jeffrey – I need a rookie that will be playing in R13 as I am below 18 players that week- or is this a problem for most coaches??

    3

Out of absolute desperation I’m looking at Flynn Perez and Zach Reid, I think I’ve lost the plot.

So I’m just planning to use 3 trades( 1 upgrade and one sideswap ) to get to 18 that week

TU: Stewart to complete my backline

  91. As i have Pruess and Hayes as Rucks, with Dixon Bench, all possibly out

Is Callum Jamieson WCE a possible downgrade option for Dixon, seeing as he is named number 1 ruck? Have not seen him play much
TU- Yes, should get regular games and make money
TD- Work out another way to field 2 ruckman

  92. Last week traded Steele and Ward > Laird and G.Clark
DEF: Sicily, Hewett, Crisp, Ridley, N.Daicos, McCartin (Gibcus, Sinn)
MID: Oliver, Neale, Laird, Macrae, Miller, Cripps, Brodie, JHF, (McComb, G.Clark, Hollands)
    RUC: Gawn, Preuss (S.Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Parker, Butters, Cogs, N.Martin, Durdin (M.Rioli, C.MacDonald)
$145,100 in the bank, 23 trades left, three trade boosts left
Stuck again. No idea what to do. Suggestions very much appreciated.

    1. JJ – If Hayes doesn’t play you have a ruck donut. I’d be tempted to bring in either Witts and call your rucks done, or English while he is still under 600k into the ruck temporarily with a view to swinging him to the forward line later.

Preuss & Martin >> English & Jeffrey leaves you with $282K
which is enough to trade boost Daicos >> Stewart and still have $66K in the bank.

      1. Personally, I’d be holding Preuss over Hayes; if Hayes isn’t named.

If that’s the case, my suggestion would be:
Martin and Hayes to English and Soligo (via Brodie swing up forward). Put English in your ruck for now with a view to swing him forward soon (e.g downgrading JHF, Durdin, etc to a non-playing F/R)

  93. Martin & Daicos to:

    TU: Oliver & Stephens
TD: Sinclair & Stephens (finishing my defence but means I will have Sinclair instead of Stewart)

  94. I’m one of those unlucky ones with the Preuss, Hayes and dixon ruck setup. Sitting tight til we get the final word on ports 22 so no panic trades yet i am hoping Preuss is a late in as well. Seems odd too name him emergency unless they expect Flynn to not get up or run two rucks.. did hear a rumour Flynn may have been under an illness cloud, anyone else heard this?

trading Hayes means I have to fork out 300k to get to Witts, gawn or Darcy and ruining future trades. Fingers crossed it doesn’t come too that

Many others in my situation with the same ruckline?

  95. Who to finish my defence with?

    TU: Sinclair
    TD: Docherty

Currently have Sicily, Stewart, Hewett, Crisp and Short

  96. The ruck situation with Preuss/Hayes may force me to have to play either Bowey or McCartin on field to avoid a donut.

    T/U – Bowey
    T/D – McCartin

  97. TU: Bring in English, means Daicos/Greg Clark at M8
TD: Bring in Bont, means Conor Macdonald or Paul Curtis at F6

  98. TU or TD on this trade:
    SDK > Sinclair
    McCartin > Stephens
Only trading out SDK and McCartin because they have the round 13 bye and I’m stuffed so would rather use Daicos as cover cos he has a better bye
