Both are Defender/Forward DPP’s. Right now, which one would you rather have in your team?

i’m really tempted to replace Kennelly with Waite. He can be point scoring machine given he plays fwd and gets fed by some pretty good mids. I like his ability to score big hunjies. Returning from a knee reco seems to be a non-issue this yr and now that Waites missed half a dozen games, im keen to punt that hes going into the second half of the season in good shape.

“Returning from a knee reco seems to be a non-issue this yr”
Take note: Waite did not have the revolutionary LARS surgery.

He was. After a slow start he got bumped. After his last game though, I’m VERY tempted to bring him back in.

I chose Reg Grundy for 3 reasons.
1. Reg Grundy doesn’t play for Caaarlton.
2. Jarrad Waite does play for Caaarlton.
3. Grundy is in my team and mostly has served me well.

I’m just trying to work out if I’m like Joffa, or, if Joffa is like me

If i was to select one of them NOW for the remainder of the season then Waite would be the man (once Rnd 11 team sheets are in to confirm if he comes straight back in after his suspension). IMO he is more likely to be getting 90-110 type scores late in the season than what Grundy is.
If we are speaking of which was a better selection from the get-go then i’d say Grundy as he was considerably cheaper from memory and has provided more to this point.

Precisely why I prefaced the question with “Right now…”.
On performances to date alone you’d have to go with Grundy. He’s been a solid contributor whereas Waite has been in and out due to injury, poor form and suspension.

Waite, He has more scoring potential than Reg, Reg is a stay at home backman, where’s Waite can play all around the ground and can kick a bag now and again as well. The only problem with Waite is he might be out of favor with Ratts due to he’s bump on Boxers acouple of weeks back.
P.S. I have both.

Whats going on with Gia, Paul? Should I keep the faith? Will he come good?

Gia isn’t playing in the middle anymore since Boyd’s return, also the Bulldog’s disposal efficiency this year has been shocking to say the least and that kills SC scoring, HGL. Imo at this time of year it’s not worth a trade, hold onto him and pray he’ll come good.

I think I’ll hold to him and just stick with turning Higgins into Didak. Higgins isn’t getting over his groin anytime soon in my opinion and Didak is gold.
