GEELONG
C Enright ($519,100, 97.73) – All class all day, 118 with 34 touches. Worth every cent.
J Bartel ($578,400, 108.90) – Again, you know what you’re getting for your $578k. On this occasion just a lazy 10 tackles on top of 19 disposals for 92.
J Selwood ($588,900, 110.86) – 84 is a little under what you’d expect from Joel but he did kick a supergoal.
GAJ ($744,200, 140.11) – A few 81’s in a row and The Little Master’s price will drop back to a lot more realistic levels. Food for thought.
S Johnson ($473,700, 89.19) – 91 DT points, 57 SC points – I’ve seen this kind of disparity from Stevie before. I’ll be passing on him in my forward line this year.
J Hunt ($252,300) – 60 in his first game back since the NAB Cup final last year. Worth the investment.
J Corey ($573,100, 107.90) – only had a 26 but got subbed off in Q3.
J Podsiadly ($83,400) – a 10 will have you rethinking his spot on your forward bench.
NORTH MELBOURNE
L Anthony ($505,700, 95.20) – Huge price for a second year player but if he continues scoring 98’s on the back of 38 possessions you know you won’t regret it.
D Petrie ($484,800, 91.27) – Kicked 2.1 and scored 86 to make him a viable front line/ruck option for you. For me the decision comes down to him or K Tippett.
L Greenwood ($236,600, 44.55) – I’m warming to Greenwood as a defender. Especially after this performance: an 88 scored primarily in the guts.
L Harding ($451,200, 84.94) – Usually pretty consistent and kicked 2.2 but only tallied 62.
J Ziebell ($320,800, 60.40) – Went H2H with GAJ in the middle all day, got 18 touches and scored 55. Him or P Dangerfield hmmmmm decisions, decisions, decisions.
B Harvey ($499,300, 94.00) – Only managed a 58 but was never going to have a field day with Ling on him.
H McIntosh ($486,500, 91.59) – Putting him in the ruck from round 1 was one of the best decisions I made last year. Isn’t as good value this year with the associated price rise. Had 55 on Sunday because he handballed 13 out of the 15 times he got it.

Stevie J will be kicking bags of goals this year, price will rise.
JZ over Dangerfield everyday of the week. Dangerfield gets the ball, but can’t get rid of it with any certainty.
Not worried about SJ’s hips, Brad? He looked pretty damn proppy towards the end of last year.
Not worried at all. Should be fine.
